Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri has completed arrangements for the execution of 2011 TET Fabrication intervention projects as approved for the year 2011 as follows:

 

  1. A.   PROJECT: PROCUREMENT

 

Procurement of Instruments, tools and some machinery to the Centre of Entrepreneurial Studies

 

B.      All interested contractors with relevant experience as well as established capacity for the timely Supply of the procurement items listed above are hereby requested to submit the following pre-Qualification documents for consideration:

 

1.       Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission

2.       Evidence of Registration as Contractor with Ramat Polytechnic

3.       Company tax clearance certificate for the last 3 years

4.       Company profile including verifiable names, qualification and experience of relevant staff

5.       Audited account for last three years

6.       Verifiable list of similar works successfully completed within the last 3 years with names of client, evidence of award etc

7.       Evidence of compliance with PENCOM

 

C. SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS

I.       The prequalification documents should be sealed in an envelope and marked “PRE­QUALIFICATION TO TENDER FOR (the items listed in A) on the left hand corner and addressed to:

Only contractors who have satisfied prequalification conditions above maybe allowed tendering on payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20, 000.00) only

 

E.      SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tenders would be opened in the presence of Contractors or their representatives at 12noon on the date of bid closing.

The Federal College of Agricultural Produce Technology, Kano hereby invites reputable, qualified and registered Contractors to apply to be considered to tender for contract to execute a construction project in the College under the 2013 appropriation act.

 

A.      The Project

 

  1. Completion of the construction of the metal and wood workshop building located at the college premises on Plot 54-56 Central Bank quarters Road, GRA Extension Hotoro, Kano.

Enclose photocopies of professional certificates as well as evidence that none of the company’s directors has been convicted for any criminal offence relating to fraud or financial impropriety or criminal misrepresentation, falsification of facts relating to any matter.

9.       Evidence of financial capability. A Bank’s reference indicating readiness to finance the project if the applicant’s bid is successful as well as audited account for the last three (3) years

10.     An affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of this College’s relevant committees on procurement is a former or present Director, Share holder or has any pecuniary interest in the applicant Company.

11.     Evidence of compliance with the Pension Reform Act 2004

 

12.     Evidence of compliance with the Industrial Training Fund act.

13.     Evidence of submission of annual returns to the Corporate Affairs Commission.

14.     Audited Accounts report for three (3) years (2010, 2011, 2012)

Please note that this invitation is not to tender. Only contractors that have been short listed will be invited to tender for contract services. The College shall not bear the cost of preparation of applications or any other costs related to the application for contract services.

Introduction

The Calabar Festival is undoubtedly the biggest and longest multi-dimensional, multi-faceted tourism leisure and entertainment programme in West Africa. Thirty-two days of exciting events, colourful activities and unprecedented participation by a large number of people from all over the world.

 

The event has become, arguably, Nigeria’s strongest tourism brand. The 32-day Festival incorporates the HIV/AIDS City Walk; musical concerts featuring local, national and international stars; a weekend of fun and relaxation at the scenic Obudu Mountain Resort; Boat Regatta; Cultural Fiesta; Christmas Camp for Children; Food Expo; Fashion Show; Carol Night, Golf and Soccer tournaments; Fireworks, etc.

 

The Festival offers unbelievable opportunities for merchandizing. Consequently, the Government of Cross River State is desirous of engaging concessionaires to identify and utilize the market strengths of the Festival through unique merchandizing. Items to be merchandized include Shirts, T-Shirts and Polo necked T-shirts, Face Caps and Hats, Bags, Visors, Key rings, pens, tea mugs, car air fresheners, stickers, lapel pins etc.

 

Furthermore, the State also has a stock of top quality clothing – cotton shirts and T-shirts of various sizes and colours which should be marketed in a professional manner.

 

Scope of Work

The scope of work shall include

  • Detailed merchandizing proposal including product information and price;
  • A Marketing plan showing revenue projections.

LOT I:         For those interested in producing and marketing their merchandize.

LOT II:       For those interested in marketing the already existing stock of Festival clothing.

 

Requirements:

To qualify for consideration, interested companies are required to submit five (5) copies of the above proposals accompanied with the following documentation:

 

1.       A covering letter stating the preferred LOT and summarizing the contents of the submission;

2.       Evidence of company registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;

3.       Detailed Company profile;

4.       Income Tax Clearance Certificate and VAT Registration Certificate;

5.       Evidence of previous merchandizing experience;

6.       Reference Letter from Bank stating applicant’s financial capacity to carry out the project;

7.       Any additional information that will enhance the prospect of the applicant

The Taraba State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources intends to purchase One Hundred and Twenty (120) unit of New Massey Ferguson MF Model MF 375 Tractors upgraded (75hp), 120,3 Disc MF Ploughs, 120, 20-Disc Harrows and 120 unit Trailers, (5 tons) . Accordingly the State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources invites reputable suppliers to bid for the supply of these tractors and implements.
