2.       Each prospective bidder is to pay a non refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10.000.00) only to the Finance department of the Local Government and present same for physical inspection of the items. However, interested bidders are not allowed to bid for more than an item on payment of Ten thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) tender fees.

 

3.       Tender bids quoting specific amount for each item must be sealed in an envelope and addressed to the

As part of its efforts to empower the teaming unemployed graduates and create job opportunities among Youths, Kano State Government has purchased 250 brand new Toyota Corolla Cars (Luxury Taxis) to distribute them to interested graduates under the Kano State Executive Governor, Engr. (Dr) Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s Youth empowerment scheme.

 

Any interested insurance Company wishing to insure these vehicles should send its letter of expression of interest to the office of Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Kano State on Transport, through Office of the Commissioner, Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport Headquarters, off State Road, Kano, on or before 3rd April 2013.

Pursuant to the determination of Kano State Government, towards improvement of communication/transportation system and modernization of the State through improved road networks; the Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA), on behalf of the Ministry of Land and Physical Planning, intends to prequalify Contractors for the following Projects:-

Collection of Tender Documents:

Eligible Civil Engineering Companies may apply for the Contracts between 27th March – 3rd April, 2013 and obtain Prequalification/Tender Documents from the Director, Civil and Mechanical Engineering at a non-refundable fee of N100,000:00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira) only per Contract.

 

Requirements:

One of the requirements for qualification as provided in the Tender documents will be to have successfully carried out, as Prime Contractor, at least two works of a nature and complexity equivalent to the proposed works during the last five years.

 

Submission:

Introduction

 

The NNPC Pension Fund Ltd is desirous of constructing a High Rise Residential Block of Apartments in Victoria Island, Lagos. Interested and reputable Contractors with relevant experience, track record and capacity are therefore invited to apply for Pre-qualification to Tender for the Works indicated below:

 

Description of Works:

The Works comprise the Construction of a High Rise Residential Block of Apartments on a total of fifteen (15) floors including a Basement, The Block of Apartments consists of a Total of Twenty Five (25) Residential units comprising of Twenty Four (24) 4 Bedrooms Flat and a Pent House 6 Bedroom Apartments.

 

Pre-Qualification Application

In fulfillment of the Pension Reform Act 2004, Interested Contractors are requested to submit each of the following Pre-qualification Documents under the under-listed headings for evaluation.

 

(1)     Company Corporate Structure Data

(a) Certificate of Incorporation

(b) Tax Clearance Certificates for the last 3 (three) years i.e 2010, 2011,2012

(c) Banks willing to act as sureties

 

(2)     Company Corporate Structure Data

(a) Audited Accounts for the last 3 (three) years i.e 2010, 2011, 2012

(b) Banker’s Reference Letter

 

(3)     Company Track Record

(a)     A List of all Completed Projects within the last 7 (Seven) Years indicating the Client, Name and Title of the Project, Consultants, the Awarded Contract Sum and the Final Account Sum. All these should be evidenced. Preference will be given for completed Projects in Lagos. The Contractor is to provide a brief narrative of each Project indicating the number of floors, Gross floor area and pictures.

(b)     A list of all on-going Projects within the last 7 (Seven) Years indicating the Client, Name and Title of the Project, Consultants and Contract Sum. All these as should be evidenced. (5)     Plant and Equipment

(a)     A List of all the Plant and Equipment available to the Contractor indicating the Name, age, capacity, number, present location, and serviceability of the various Plant and Equipment. All Contractors are to note that for them to be considered for this Project, they must have a Yard in Lagos. The location of the Yard in Lagos must therefore be clearly stated.

 

(6)     Other Pre-qualification submittals

(a)     The Company’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy

(b)     A Schedule of all the Equipment and facilities in their Yard which must be in Lagos

(c)      An affidavit that the Company is not bankrupt, in receivership or under litigation and the details of any potential litigation awards which may adversely affect the Company’s liquidity

(d)     Evidence of compliance with the provisions of the Pension Act 2004

 

Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents

Applicants are requested to prepare and submit 2 (Two) Hard Copies of their Prequalification documents which must be sealed in a plain Brown Envelope and marked “Pre-Qualification for Pension Fund Ltd” and delivered by Hand or registered mail to “EL-RUFAL and Partners Ltd, 2nd Floor Wing A, 24 Aminu Kano Crescent, Wing A, Park N Shop Complex, Wuse 2, Abuja” on or before 17th April 2013.

 

Failure to submit any of the above listed information, documents will result in the application being considered as Non Responsive

 

This Advertisement for Pre-qualification shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the NNPC Pension Fund Ltd to issue an Invitation to Tender and / or Award for the works to any applicant, nor shall it entitle any applicant to make any claim of indemnity.

vi)     Evidence of Payment of Tracing Contributions to Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

vii)    Evidence of Compliance with Employees compensation remittance to Nigeria Social insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).

viii)   Evidence of Compliance with National Pension Commission (PENCOM) Requirements an Contribution.

ix)     Detailed evidence of the company’s ability to perform the identified services, including: Facilities Software, Hardware and personnel available to support the services where necessary.

x)      Evidence of relevant experience in similar services and list of similar contracts executed in the last live (5) years with verifiable evidence:

xi)     A Sworn affidavit certifying that none of the Prison Procurement Staff is at present a Director or staff of the company.

xii)   Original Treasury Receipt of non-refundable tender processing fee of N20,000.00 only.

xiii)   Intending Vehicle Suppliers should be manufacturers of vehicles or appointed representative/ distributor with verifiable evidence /document from the vehicles manufacturer. They should also have functioning workshops at the point of delivery. (Detail will be stated in the Bid Document)

 

5.       Collection of Bid Documents: Prospective firms are to pay the non-refundable processing fee of N20,000,00 only into Nigerian Prisons Service Account No. 0000972323 with tie Access Bank and obtain a Bank Teller. Thereafter obtain Treasury receipt at the Prison Cash Office NHQ, Abuja.

 

Bid documents can be obtained from the Technical Unit of the Procurement Department (Capital) 1st Floor, National Headquarters, Bill Clinton Drive,  Airport Road, Abuja on presentation of Treasury Receipt of non-refundable tender process fee of N20,000.00.

 

6.       Submission of Bids: The prospective Bidders shall enclose two (2) separate envelopes clearly marked “Technical” and “Financial” and each should be dropped separately in the tender boxes which shall bear the Contract No., Project Description, Name and Address of the company which should be addressed to:

  • Notwithstanding the submission of the bids, Nigerian Prisons Service is neither committed nor obliged to include your company on any bidders list or to award any form of contract to your company and/or associated companies, subcontractors or agents.
  • The Service will deal only with authorized officers of the bidding companies and not an individual agent.
  • Nigerian Prisons may decide to cancel any procurement at any stage
  • Only She financial bids of shortlisted firms that meet the technical evaluation criteria shall be opened at a later date.
