Introduction

 

The Federal Ministry of information intends to undertake the procurement of various projects in the Y2013 Capital Budget and hereby invites competent and interested suppliers, contractors and consultants with relevant experience to tender for the projects.

 

 

2.       Details of Projects

 

Lot 1:      Production of various Publications on Government Policies and Programmes.

Lot 2:      Production of Documentaries and Jingles on Government Policies & Programmes.

Lot 3:      Design and Production of Y2014 Calendars and Dairies.

Lot 4:      Supply of Repository Equipment and Technical Materials.

Lot 5:      Digitization of National Archives: Supply & Installation of heavy duty scanners, soft-wares, computers and accessories.

Lot 6:      Provision of Training Services for Human Capital Development & Advanced Computers Training on Excel & Financial Software Applications.

Lot 7:      Provision of Training Services for Capacity Building for Budget Monitoring and Evaluation and Financial Management.

Lot 8:      Procurement of Computers, Printers and Modern Public Enlightenment Equipment.

Lot 9:      IT Consultancy Services on the Management and Integration of Social Media Platform collaboration including secured WAN with VPN optimization.

Lot 10:    Hosting and Management of the National Web Portal and Ministerial Website www.nigeria.gov.ng .

Lot 11:    Media Consultancy Services for External Publicity.

Lot 12:    Media Consultancy Services for Production of Specialized Publicity Materials for External Audience.

Lot 13:    Media Consultancy Services for Publicity of Government Programmes & Activities.

Lot 14:    Media Consultancy for Management and Integration of Social Media Platform.

Lot 15:    Media Consultancy for production of specialized Public Enlightenment Materials and Jingles & Grassroots Public Enlightenment Campaigns.

Lot 16:    Media Consultancy on Publicity of Vision 20:2020.

Lot 17:    Media Consultancy Services on Promotion of Made-in-Nigeria Products and related Activities.

Lot 18:    Media Consultancy Services for Nationwide Media Tour of Federal Government Projects and Hosting of Town Hall Meetings.

 

3.       Qualification Requirements:

Interested and eligible suppliers, contractors and consultants are required to submit the following documents for consideration:

(i)      Evidence of Company’s Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

(ii)     Company’s Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the Last 3 Years.

(iii)    Evidence of VAT Registration and Past Remittances.

(iv)    Evidence of Compliance with Pensions Act 2004.

(v)    Company’s Profile reflecting experience and works of Similar Nature and Value.

(vi)   Curriculum Vitae (CV) including relevant experience of key Personnel.

(vii)             Evidence of Financial Capability and support from Bank.

(viii) Company’s Audited Account for the last three (3) Years.

 

4.       Collection of Tender Documents

Tender Documents are to be collected for LOTS 1 to 10 from the Procurement Department, 9th Floor, Federal Ministry of Information, Radio House, Abuja on the payment of a non-refundable tender fee of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira) per Lot at the cash office of the Ministry.

 

5.       Submission of Tender Documents

Tender Documents are to be submitted in two (2) copies clearly marked Project Title and Lot No… (Technical and Financial separately for LOTS 1 to 10) and Pre-qualification for LOTS 11-18 addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Information.

 

Radio House, Abuja and submitted into the Tender Box at the Procurement Department not later than Tuesday, 7th May 2013 at 12 noon for LOTS 1 to 10.

 

Opening of Tenders     

Opening of tenders will take place immediately after the close of submission at 2.00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7th 2013 for LOTS 11-18 and Tuesday; May 21st  2013 for LOTS 1-10 (Technical) in the Ministry’s Conference Room, 8th Floor, Radio House, Abuja. Bidders or their representatives are invited to witness the opening.

 

Bidders are to note that this invitation does not place any commitment on the Ministry for award of contract. Only pre-qualified bidders will be invited for financial lender.

8.       Any additional information that may enhance the chance.

 

Submission of pre-qualification documents of the eligible contractors/ companies should be forwarded their documents on or fore 29th April 2013 to the Chairman Due Process Committee (CPO Ungogo Local Government) in a sealed envelope marked “construction, supply and general renovation”.

 

This advertisement should not be a confused as a contract award or any commitment on the art of Ungogo Local Government not should it be an entitlement for any contractor or company to make any claim whatsoever from the Local Government by virtue of having responded to this advertisement please.

1. INTRODUCTION

The Management of the University of Uyo, Uyo intends to engage the services of interested, competent, experienced and reliable companies for the provision of Security and Cleaning Services at the University of Uyo.

 

2.       Method of Application.

Interested Companies with expertise in the provision of such services in a University or similar tertiary institutions are to submit fifteen (15) copies each of (a) their applications and (b) comprehensive company profile paged with table of content to include the following among others, in the under listed order with labeled page separators.

a.       Evidence of Company Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs     Commission (CAC).

i.        Evidence of Employee Pension Fund contribution registration and remittance.

j.        Evidence of financial capability.

k.       Original copies of items a,b,c,h and i are to be sighted by Management if shortlisted.

I.       A sworn affidavit in compliance with the provisions of Part IV, section 16 (6) (f) of the Public Procurement Act 2007, disclosing whether or not        any Officer of the relevant committees of the Procurement entity or Bureau is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars.

4. Submission of Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents

 

Interested bidders are to submit pre-qualification and tender documents in two different sealed envelopes appropriately marked “Pre-Qualification” and “Tender” with the company name indicated at the back of each envelop. Both envelopes marked the lot No. at the top right hand corner and addressed to:- The Secretary Tender Board and to be deposited in the Tender Board Box placed in the conference Hall of Gwagwalada Area Council Secretariat.

Completed documents should be submitted not later than 12:00 noon local Time 6th June, 2013. The Tender shall be open on the same day in the Conference Hall of Gwagwalada Area Council. Interested bidders or their representatives are hereby invited to attend the opening function.

 

5. Conclusion

The Tender Board reserves the right to verify the authenticity of claims made in the documents submitted. The Tender Board will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested party in connection with any response to the invitation.

 

The Tender Board is not bound to shortlist any bidder and reserves the right to annul selection process at any time without incurring any liabilities.

 

The Tender Board reserves the right to reject any tender in part or in full. The Tender Board is not bound to accept the lowest tender.

Pre-Qualification Requirements

(j)      A verifying Affidavit under the Public Procurement Act 2007 sworn to at the Federal High Court indicating that the company is not in receivership; non of its Directors has been convicted for fraud; disclosure of any relationship with the Polytechnic Personnel (Proforma of this must be obtained at the Public Procurement Unit (PPU) of the Polytechnic).

(k)     Evidence of compliance with Section 6(l)-(3) of the Amended IFT Act 2011. (A copy can be obtained at the Procurement Unit of the Polytechnic).

(l)      Evidence of Registration with National Pension Commission, in compliance with the Provisions of Section I6 (b) (d) of the Public

Please note that the Federal Polytechnic Nekede will on its own, verify the claims made in the pre-qualification documents. Pre-qualification analysis will be based on technical and financial capability of the documents,

Pre-qualification documents will be submitted with a non-refundable fee of N5, 000.00 (Five Thousand Naira) only in bank draft made payable to the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri,

 

Only pre-qualified companies will proceed to the bidding process.
