Invitation to Participate in the Tendering

Exercise for the Supply of Various Goods

For FCT Audit Department

Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), through the Department of FCT Audit Department has provisions in the proposed FCT 2010 Statutory Budget and is hereby inviting competent and interested companies to submit Technical and Financial bids for the following projects.

Scope of Work

  1. Supply of office Furniture.
  2. Supply of 5Nr. desktops & 5Nr. Laptops computers
  3. Procurement of 2Nr. Utility vehicles.

(B) Prequalification Requirements

Interested companies are to forward copies of the following documents and the originals to be made available for sighting during the Tender opening.

  1. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Articles of Memorandum of Association.
  2. Interested Companies should have up to date returns with the CAC and be informed that due diligence could be conducted,
  3. Company’s Audited Account for the last three years from a Chartered Accounting firm.
  4. Tax Clearance for the last three years,
  5. List of verifiable documentary evidences of similar jobs successfully executed within the last three years (complete with award letters, completion certificates),
  6. Reference Letter from a reputable bank,
  7. Sworn Affidavit in line with the provisions of part IV section 16, subsection 6 (e & f) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007.
  8. Interested companies are required to provide evidence of registration and remittance of contributory pension funds in line with Section 16, Subsection 8(d) of the Public Procurement Act.
  9. Letter of authority to FCT Administration to cross check the company’s account.

(C)    Collection of Tender Documents:

Interested companies are to collect tender documents from the office of the Director, FCT Audit, Area 11, Garki – Abuja, upon the presentation of an evidence of payment of N5,000.00 (Five thousand naira only) non-refundable Tender Fee into FCT Treasury Revenue Account at Fidelity Bank (Central Area) Account No: 051503010000426.

Submission

The Prequalification and Financial bid documents should each be sealed and labeled (Technical and Financial bids as appropriate) separately, and the two separate envelopes be put in another envelope that should also be sealed and labeled as:” (Project Title)”. The financial bids should be submitted in three (3) copies (one original and two other copies) and all pages are to be duly endorsed by the bidder. The document is to be submitted to: Secretary FCT Tenders Board, Room 43, Former Public Building, FCTA Secretariat, Area 11, Garki – Abuja, on or before 12 noon, 23rd August, 2010. The tender is for a period of 6th September 2010. The representatives of the bidding companies are invited to witness the opening of the tenders on the same day at Room G9, Archives and History Bureau Building, Beside AGIS Building, Peace Drive, Area 11, Garki – Abuja at 2.00pm.

(E) Successful Companies could be requested to provide Performance Bond, whose value shall not be less than 10% of the contract sum before signing the contract.

Note:

  1. Interested bidders are not allowed to apply for more than one (1) project.
  2. The administration is not bound to accept the lowest or any other bid.
  3. Members of the general public, especially the Civil Society organizations are invited to the opening exercise. They are however to abide by the Code of Conduct for procurement observers issued by the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).
  4. Company representatives are to come along with a letter of introduction indicating name, rank and sample signature to the opening exercise.

  1. This invitation for bids follows the General Procurement Notice for the Protect that appeared in the dg Market of December 9,2004,

The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Federal Capital Territory Administration Economic Reform and Governance Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for Procurement of Project support ICT infrastructure  such as Switches, Panels, Cabling, Document and Electronic  voice communication systems

A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten thousand Naira (N 10,000.00) payable by Bank Draft in favour of FCT ERGP Oceanic Bank Acct No: 1031301008262. Introduction

The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, intends to utilize its 2010 capital grant to procure and install some teaching and research equipment, rehabilitate some buildings and for construction works.

Pre-Qualification Requirements and Invitation to Tender,

Interested companies/firms are required to submit in separate envelopes in respect of Pre-qualification and tender documents for consideration on or before 9th August 2010.

Tender documents are available for collection with effect from Tuesday 27th July, 2010 from the office of Director, Physical Planning Unit of the University.

NOTE: Notwithstanding the submission of Pre-qualification documents, only qualified companies/firms shall have their tenders opened while those not qualified shall have their tenders returned unopened and their fees refunded.

Pre-qualification attracts no fee while tender documents attracts N50, 000.00, Lots 1 -4; 5 to 8 attracts N20, 000.00.
