CONSTRUCTION OF NEW PAINTING AND BLASTING WORKSHOP AND SUPPORTING FACILITY UPGRADES IN ESCRAVOS

INTRODUCTION:

Chevron Nigeria Limited invites interested and prequalified companies for this tender opportunity for the Detailed Design Review, Procurement and Construction of a modern Blasting and Painting Workshop Facility.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Engineering: Review and re-validation of COMPANY’S Detailed Engineering Design to ensure compatibility with CONTRACTOR’S preferred construction methodology. Prepare and submit for approval all shop drawings, fabrication drawings, bending schedules and any other supplementary information required to successfully execute the works.

Installation of Piles: The project includes installation of piles for the building

foundation.

Sub Structure/ Superstructure: Contractor shall construction a new modern workshop containing the following sections; blasting hall for the both automatic and manual grit recovery blasting systems, painting room, MCC room, offices and furniture, loading area. Other external works involves; compressor building. Offloading A-Frame structure, elevated water tank, diesel storage shed, sewage sump, drains, external lighting and concrete road. Contractor shall also provide attendances for the installation of major blasting and painting equipment by the supplier.

Procurement: COMPANY shall supply Crawford Mega Doors. Overhead Cranes, Blasting and Painting equipment only. All other equipment and materials shall be supplied by the contractor.

  • Furnish details of company ownership and share holding structure.  Also submit clear photocopies of your CAC Forms CO2 and CO7
  • Provide evidence of what percentage of your key management positions is held by Nigerians and what percentage of the total work force are Nigerians. Also, show overall percentage of work to be performed by Nigerian resources relative to total work volume.

Advert for Technical Tender Opportunity Construction of A Satellite / Annex Fire-Station In Escravos, Delta State

Introduction:

Chevron Nigeria Limited invites interested and prequalified companies for this tender opportunity for the Detailed Design, Procurement and Construction of a new Satellite Fire-Station Building.

SCOPE OF WORK:

  • Engineering: Preparation of detailed Engineering Drawings using COMPANY’S Basic Engineering Designs to ensure compatibility with CONTRACTOR’S preferred construction methodology.
  • Preparation and submission-for-approval of all shop drawings, fabrication drawings, bending schedules and any other supplementary information required to successfully execute the works.
  • Sub-Structure Works/ Piling Works: The project shall involve sand filling operations (where applicable), installation of piles, pile-caps and ground beams and other related substructure works.
  • Super-structure: The Project will involve the Construction of a Mini Fire-station building made of steel-frame structure. The Building shall contain a Fire Truck Bay of approximately 90sqm. with a height not exceeding 7.50m; an office/Watch room: locker room and Convenience, The entire building shall have a foot print area of about 150Sqm. and an entire site coverage area of about 680sqm.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Services: Construction services would include Electrical Installations, Mechanical Installations and Fire-Protection Installations.
  • External Works: Construction services for external works shall also include Security Fence (Mesh wire) installations, drainage construction, road construction   rigid pavement construction and general signage works including road Markings.
  • Procurement: Contractor shall be required to procure and install equipment and accessories such as special electronic doors, special laminated wall cladding, office furniture, and all other pieces of items and equipment which will be incorporated into the Project to satisfy total Completion requirements. However COMPANY shall reserve the rights to directly procure ahead of time any long lead items which may  compromise the target Completion date of the Project. All other equipment and materials shall be supplied by the contractor in accordance with the Specific and detailed Project.

PROVISION OF INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR JOINT VENTURE ASSETS FOR YEARS 2011 AND 2012

1.0    Introduction:

Pan Ocean Oil Corporation, Operator of NNPC/Pan Ocean Joint Venture in OML-98, located onshore in Edo and Delta states, requires the services of competent and qualified contractors to provide insurance coverage for all joint venture assets for years 2011 and 2012

2.0     Scope of Work

  • The insurance will cover but not be limited to physical loss and or damage to property, including third party liability risk. Group Personal Accident, Oil Package and Group Hearth Care Plan. The insurer shall justify by verifiable proof of evidence with NAICOM approval certification that all in-country capacity for the risk have been utilized before it can re­insure the excess capacity with leading international underwriters. The insurer will liaise with the appointed re-insurance broker for the purpose of re-insurance with foreign underwriter with minimum of A Rating S&P. The insurer will also handle claims services, policy documentation, renewals, endorsements etc.
  • For Naira policies, the insurer shall retain 100% of the risk in Nigeria. The insurer will liaise with the local brokers appointed by the company.
