Pre Qualification Requirements

Interested contractors need to show the following to pre-qualify and be considered for tendering:

  1. Registration/Incorporation Certificate with Corporate Affairs Commission.
  2. Evidence of registration as a contractor with Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education in the appropriate category.
  3. Evidence of qualification/registration with appropriate professional bodies, where applicable.
  4. Evidence of execution of similar projects stating clearly the contract sum of the projects including copies of letters of award and completion certificate in the past 3 years.
  5. Company audited accounts in the past 3 years.
  6. Evidence of payment of non-refundable bidding fees for the projects.
  7. Evidence of financial capacity, including bank reference.
  8. Tax Clearance Certificate.
  9. VAT Registration Certificate and evidence of remittance.
  10. Evidence of payment of Education Tax for the current year 2009/2010.

The bidding fees should be in bank draft(s) of any of the following banks: First Bank Plc, Union Bank Plc, UBA Plc or FCMB Plc, in favour of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Otto/Ijanikin, Lagos State.

The Ondo State Water and Sanitation (WATSAN) in collaboration with UNICEF hereby invited from registered, experienced and competent contractors to submit for pre-qualification, tenders for the construction of the following Projects:

Lot I:   Construction of Handpump Boreholes in some centers in the State.

Lot II:  Construction of VIP Latrines in some locations in the state.

All Tenders should be accompanied with the following documents:

  • Evidence of Registration with the Works Registration Office of the Ondo State Ministry of Works for the year 2010.
  • Evidence of Payment of non-refundable N10, 000.00 (Ten thousand naira) tender fee of the contract for each Lot to the Ondo State Government Treasury.
  • Evidence of three (3) years Tax Clearance Certificate for 2007, 2008 and 2009.
