The Presidential Implementation Committee on the Alienation of Federal Government Landed Property hereby invites bid from members of the public who are interested in leasing the Multi-Purpose Hall, 1004 Estate, Victoria Island Lagos.

Each bidder should indicate on the left hand comer of the envelope the name of the property.

Completed bidding forms should be submitted along with the following:

  • Ten Percent (10%) of bid price in certified bank draft payable to the Implementation Committee on Federal Government Landed Property. Unsuccessful bidders will be refunded this money while for successful bidders; this will form part of the payment for the property.
  • Copy of Tax Clearance Certificate for the past 3 years (for individuate and corporate bodies)
  • Copy of Certificate of Incorporation (for corporate bidders)
  • Certified Bank Draft of non-refundable bidding fees or N250, 000.00 in favour of Implementation Committee on Federal Government Landed Property.

Completed bidding forms should be submitted in sealed addressed to: The Secretary, Presidential Implementation Committee on FGLP to the Secretariat of the Committee at 3rd Floor, Edo House, Plot 75, Ralph Shodeinde Street, Opposite NACA Office, Central Business District, Abuja on or before 16 September, 2010 9am -4pm, on working days only.

The winner of the bid will be required to pay the bid prices in full plus 5% transaction cost within 30 days of the winning.

Request for Expression of Interest for the Design and Construction of Yenagoa Transparency Plaza

Introduction

The Government of Bayelsa State is desirous of partnering with reputable estate developers for the construction of the Yenagoa Transparency Plaza within the city’s Central Business District. Aside from serving as an architectural edifice and monument for improving the aesthetic conditions of the city, the plaza shall provide offices equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for corporate organizations including multi-national companies.

The construction of the plaza shall be based on a Public-Private Partnership arrangement, where interested developers shall possess the capacity to construct a 6-Storey building. The government on its part shall provide one hundred percent guarantee for the project. The duration of the project is mean to be one year commencing from the date of signing the Memorandum of Understanding between both parties.

Preliminary proposals shall therefore include the following:

  • Project Brief/Preliminary Design to include relevant landscaping
  • Cost Estimates and proposed duration of project
  • Preliminary Hazard Assessment and Risk Analysis Documentation

Qualification Documents

Interested partners are requested to submit relevant proposals for the design and construction of the plaza to include the following:

  1. Certificate of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
  2. Comprehensive Company Profile to include the following:
    1. i.            Organizational Strength and Structure
    2. ii.            Evidence of involvement and Experience in the provision of similar services.
    3. Audited Account for the Past 3 Years.
    4. Tax Clearance Certificate for 2007,2008 and 2009
    5. Vat Certificate.
    6. Evidence of Financial Capability from a Nigerian Bank.

1.0       Introduction

1.1     The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Water Resources (FMWR) Intends to immediately develop Gurara Dam Phase II for hydro power, water supply, irrigation and socio- economic activities. To this end, the FMWR invites interested, suitably qualified and reputable consulting firms including joint ventures (jvs) to submit Proposals for the following projects:

2.0     Terms of Reference and Scope Of Services

2.1     The Terms of Reference (TOR) for each project is included in the Standard Bidding Documents – Request for Proposals to be collected from the Ministry. Interested Consultants should indicate the Lot for which the proposal is made.

3.0     Qualification Requirement

The minimum technical and responsive requirements are as follows:

Interested firms or joint ventures (JV) are expected to collect, fill and submit Standard Request for Proposal (RFP) for the selection of consulting firms (Complex Lump sum), from the Secretary Ministerial Tenders Board in addition to the following minimum requirements:

  • Evidence of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria, including Articles and Memorandum of Association and up-to date Returns with the CAC.
  • Copy (not personal) of tax clearance and VAT registration certificate for the last three consecutive years namely 2007,2008 and 2009 respectively.
  • Evidence of VAT Registration, FIRS PIN Number, and receipts of payment;
  • Registration with professional bodies particularly COREN, NIS.
  • Statement of annual turnover for the preceding years
  • Evidence of financial capability and or banking support to execute the contract without delay if awarded
  • Verifiable evidence of experience and qualification of key personnel
