We support local organizations to manage low cost, sustainable projects and also provide policy support to secure the right of poor people to affordable water and sanitation services.

WaterAid in conjunction with the European Commission is working on a programme to promote poverty reduction in Nigeria through improved accountability and collaboration around water and sanitation under the project entitled: “Empowering Civil Society and Local Authorities for Pro-Poor and inclusive Water and Sanitation Governance in Plateau and Bauchi States in Nigeria”.

WaterAid is therefore looking for suitable, registered Automobile dealing Companies to provide the following vehicles:

Delivery of 2 No. Toyota Prado GX 2009/Model; Manual Transmission, A/C, preferably Black or Ash colour.

Qualification Criteria: the bidders should submit with their tender the documents specified below:

Detailed quotation on company letter-headed paper with specification, terms of payment and delivery.

The Inter-Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA) is specialized institution of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). GIABA is also a Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Regional Body based in Dakar, Senegal. Its mandate is to develop strategies and measures to protect the economies of ECOWAS member States from misuse for the purposes of laundering the proceeds of crime. GIABA is also mandated to provide

technical assistance to its members within the ECOWAS regional integration framework. GIABA is seeking for competent vendors to supply, install and implement Anti-Money Laundering Software for deployment in Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs) in the region.

The assignment will involve the supply, installation, commissioning and implementation (through training and provision of preventive and remedial maintenance) of a computerized Anti-Money Laundering Analytical Software (AML Analytical Software) based on a turnkey approach. It will comprise of the acquisition of an AML Software Package with appropriate hardware, supportive software, to be implemented in all the ECOWAS Member States including operating databases and communication accessories which will be connected through Graphic User Interface (GUI).

Selection will be conducted through selection a procedure specified in the ECOWAS Tender Code and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the Tender Code.

Specification/Scope of Work

It shall be a 500 KVA sound proof Generator with a one year warranty. The supplier will remove an old generator and in its place install the new one. An after Sales Maintenance Service for three month from the date of installation is to be provided.

Introduction:
The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) is a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Education responsible for coordinating and managing the implementation of basic education in Nigeria, to ensure the provision of quality basic education to all children of school going age, with a view to attaining the MDGs and EFA goals and Mr. President 7-Point Agenda.

In accordance with the Federal Executive Council’s approval that 15% of the 2% CRF be used for instructional materials as part of FGN intervention in Universal Basic Education programme, UBEC intends to procure Primary three English Language, Mathematics and Basic Science and Technology Textbooks for the nation’s primary school system and Assorted Library Books for JSS.

Toward this end UEEC hereby invites eligible Publishers to make submissions    for pre-qualification for the production and supply of English Language, Mathematics and Basic Science and Technology Textbooks for Primary three and Assorted Library Books for JSS in accordance with the Titles/Publishers identified by the State Universal Basic Education Boards (SUBEBs) as being used in their schools.

Pre-Qualification Requirements

Interested Publishers are required to submit the following:
1. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission.
2. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificates for the last three years (2007, 2008 & 2009).
3. Evidence of financial capability from a reputable Bank.
4. Evidence of similar contracts executed in the last three years (2007, 2008 & 2009)
5. Audited Financial Statements from reputable audit firms for 2007, 2008 & 2009.
6. Evidence of payment of pensions and social security contributions.
