Invitation to Tender

Introduction

The Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG), hereby Invites interested competent and reputable Contractors with relevant experience and good track records to submit Technical and Financial Proposals for the following jobs which it intends to execute under its 2010 Budget:

LOT 01A:   Supply of Laptops and Desktop Computers

LOT 01B:   Supply of Assorted Office Furniture and Equipment

LOT 02:      Supply and Installation of sound proof Generator of 27KVA

capacity at the Head Office in Abuja

LOT03A.    Consultancy Services on Technical Evaluation/Field Verification on saline Intrusions in the Costal Belt and Inland Basins of Nigeria

LOT 03B:   Consultancy Services on Accreditation of Relevant Professional Courses such as mining engineering, petroleum engineering, metallurgy, the geosciences plus related subjects in Tertiary institutions in Nigeria

LOT 04       Supply of project vehicles.

Collection of Tender Document

Interested company/ contractor/supplier should collect bidding document upon presentation of evidence of payment of the non-refundable fee of N10, 000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira only) from the:

Requirements for Tendering

  • Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission.
  • Tax clearance certificate for the past three (3) years from Federal Inland Revenue Service.
  • Value Added Tax Registration Certificate.
  • Verifiable evidence of past job experience in similar projects of interest.
  • Comprehensive company profile.
  • Evidence of compliance with the provision of section 16b (d) of Public Procurement Act 2007 as it relates to the Pension Reform Act 2004.
  • Non-refundable Tender fee of N10, 000.00 and attached Receipt of Payment.
  • Evidence of registration with professional bodies such as COMEG etc for the consultancy services.

Submission of Tender Document

Interested Contractors/Suppliers should submit their Technical/Financial Proposals in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the project lot and addressed to:

Completed Tender Documents must be dropped in the Tenders Box at the above address on or before 6th October, 2010.

Tender documents will be opened publicly on 6th October, 2010 at the COMEG Conference Room by 1:00pm.
