Applications are hereby invited from reputable and interested Contractors’ Suppliers with relevant cognate experience and good track record of performance for prequalification on year 2012 Capital Appropriation Projects in Ahmadu Bello University. Zaria. The projects are:

 

LOT 1:            CONSTRUCTION AND FURNISHING OF250 SEATS LECTURE

THEATRE AUDITORIUM

LOT 2:            CONSTRUCTION AND FURNISHING OF FACULTY BOARD ROOM AND PROFESSORIAL OFFICE ACCOMMODATION

LOT 3:            CONSTRUCTION OF BLOCKS OF CLASSROOMS

LOT4:             REHABILITATION OF ACADEMIC BUILDINGS

LOT 5:            REHABILITATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDINGS

LOT 6:            FURNISHING OF ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDINGS

 

Pre-qualification Criteria

The pre-qualification documents should include:-

(a)       Evidence of Incorporation/Registration with Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC).

(b)       Company Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2009-2011)

(c)        Company Audited Account for the last three years (2009-2011) certified by a chartered accountant/auditor.

(d)       VAT registration and evidence of remittances in the last three years (2009-2011) to be attached.

(e)      Evidence of Financial capability to execute the project. Bank reference and a letter of credit facility from a reputable Commercial Bank with a commitment to provide loan facility for the execution of the contract if eventually won.

(f)        List of similar, verifiable and successfully executed projects or ongoing by the Company with letters of award and completion certificates, in the last four years 2008-2011 only. Letters of award and interim certificates of payment should be attached for projects that are ongoing.

(g)       List of Managerial, key Technical and Administrative Staff of the Company which should include names, curriculum vitae and copies of certificates for each key staff.

(h)       List of Equipment owned or on lease hold by the company relevant for smooth execution of the project. Evidence of ownership and pictures with company Logo is an added advantage.

(i)         Evidence of remittance of pension contribution fund for staff of the company from reputable pension funds of the Public Procurement Act, 2007

(j)         Evidence of compliance with the provisions of the industrial training fund amendment act as stipulated in section 6(1) – (3)

(k)        Evidence of community social responsibility (if any)

(l)         Original documents should be available for sighting on demand during or after the opening of pre-qualification documents.

 

1.         Submission of Pre-qualification Documents

Pre-qualification documents should be bound in wax –sealed envelope with “Pre-qualification as  Contractor”, Lot and title of project written at the top right hand corner and addressed to The  Registrar Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria should be hand delivered into the pre-qualification box in the Registrar’s office, 7th Floor Senate Building on or before  13th August, 2012 by 12 noon.

 

2.         Opening of Pre-qualification Documents

Pre-qualification documents will be opened on 13th August 2012 at 1:30 pm at the ABU Samaru Zaria Assembly Hall near the Convocation Square.

 

Civil Society Organisations, Non-Governmental Organisations and all interested members of the public especially intending contractors are hereby invited.

 

3.         Please Note

(a)       Submissions of pre-qualification documents to ABU ZARIA are neither a commitment nor an obligation to award contract to any Contactor or his agent.

(b)       Advertisement for Invitation to Pre-qualification should not be construed as a commitment on the part of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria nor shall it entitle any Contractor to make any claims whatsoever or seek any indemnity from ABU Zaria.

(c)        Due diligence would be followed as all documents submitted would be verified. Past executed works, contractors’ offices, Plants and Equipment may be visited for verification. Any discrepancies found would summarily disqualify the Contractor.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in pursuance of its statutory mandate intends to install Laboratory Equipment for its clinics. To this end the Commission invites interested, registered and reputable Nigerian companies/contractors with relevant experience and good track records to pre-qualify for the supply and installation of the underlisted projects:

2.       Pre-Qualification Requirements

Interested companies/contractors are required to submit the following documents:

i.        Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

ii.       Evidence of Technical capacity (equipment)

iii.      Last three (3) years Audited accounts of the Company (2009, 2010 and 2011)

iv.      Detailed information on technical personnel and experience of key staff of the Company.

v.       Financial capability and banking support, including annual turn-over.

vi.      Last three (3) year Tax Clearance certificate (2009, 2010 and 2011).

vii.     Evidence of Experience with similar jobs executed in the last three (3) years (letters of awards and completion certificates)

viii.    Submission of PENCOM’s certificate of Compliance, confirming Company’s fulfillment of its statutory obligations to the employees, with respect to Pensions.

ix.      Evidence of VAT Registration and past remittances

3.    General Information

i)       Details of the Equipment could also be obtained from Health Services      Department of INEC headquarters’ Clinic, Area 10, Garki, Abuja during the         period of the advert.

ii)      For clarifications and/or additional information, you may contact “the Health Services Department” INEC Headquarters Clinic, Area 10, Garki, Abuja, between the hours of 10.00 a.m and 4.00 pm. Monday to Friday during the period of the advert.

iii)     The closing date for submissions of the pre-qualification documents is Tuesday, 14th August, 2012 at 12.00p.m.

iv)     The pre-qualification documents submitted on or before the closing date and time shall be opened at the Commission’s Premises on the same Tuesday, 14th August, 2012 at 2.00p.m;

(ii)     Only firms that are successful from the pre-qualification exercise will be contacted and invited for financial bids.

1.       Introduction

The National Cereals Research Institute (NCRI) Badeggi, Bida, Hereby invites interested reputable and competent contractors/suppliers for per-qualification consideration for jobs in the following projects.

 

2.       Scope of Work

Lot 1:          Reconstruction and furnishing of the burnt Executive Director’s office

Lot 2:          Procurement of Tractors with full implements for Headquarters and Outstations.

Lot 3:          Completion of the Breeder/Foundation Seed Laboratory with furnishing.

 

3.       Requirements

To be considered technically competent, interested companies and contractors must submit a profile which should include:

i)       A certified true copy of incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

ii)      A copy of the company’s audited accounts for the last three years

iii)     Evidence of payment of Tax: Copy of Tax Clearance certificate for the last three years.
