The process would entail acquiring the Kano State Government Shares in Dala Building Society and/or possible merger in order to meet the minimum capital requirement as stipulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria, (CBN).

Background

With a goal of limiting exposure to Malaria and reducing incidents and prevalence of Malaria, under this Task Order, Abt provides program support and leads the implementation of Indoor Residual Spray (IRS) activities in 17 President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) countries in sub-Saharan Africa, including Nigeria.

 

Through funding by PMI/USAID, Abt implements all aspects of the Indoor Residual Spray process, including, but not limited to:

  • Planning and forecasting IRS programming with government and community leaders
  • Procurement of insecticides and spray equipment/materials
  • Supply chain management of all IRS equipment and materials
  • Performing IRS campaigns in targeted areas on an annual basis
  • Ensuring environmental compliance of IRS campaigns, and materials used in the campaigns
  • Monitoring and Evaluating of IRS campaign effectiveness and their links to Malaria incidents and prevalence
  • Completing entomological surveillance, and testing insecticide effectiveness.

 

A guiding principle of the project is to ensure sustainability and developing local knowledge and capacity, to ensure that government, the private sector, and communities will lead future efforts concerning IRS and malaria control.

 

PURPOSE for RFP

Abt Associates, implementer of the USAID funded AFRICA IRS (AIRS) Program, invites qualified suppliers to submit bids to supply of vehicles per the specifications found within this RFP.

The attachments to RFP will then be forwarded to those vendors and should please confirm receipt by email within 72 hours (3 days). Society for Family Health (SFH) Nigeria is a non-profit public health indigenous NGO that is implementing programmes in reproductive health, HIV/AIDS prevention and control, maternal and child health and water purification with the poor, vulnerable and hard to reach communities in Nigeria. SFH Nigeria works in collaboration with the Federal Government, through the support of donors such as the United Kingdom Department for International Development (UKDID), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, among others.

 

SFH uses mass media to promote healthier behaviours amongst Nigerians. It therefore seeks to retain the services of a media monitoring and tracking agency to monitor all SFH radio and TV campaigns pan Nigeria.

 

To this end, SFH invites reputable and competent organizations to Pre-qualify for the provision of media monitoring.

 

Prequalification Requirements:

A.      Evidence of registration of organization with Corporate Affairs Commission, with copies of Certificate of Incorporation and Memorandum of Association.

B.      Company profile which will include list of key professionals with their curriculum vitae, evidence of registration of the personnel with relevant professional bodies

D.      Evidence of organization’s capacity to handle a project of this nature covering all or most of Nigeria
