The Federal University of Petroleum Resources,Effurn (FUPRE), Delta State, Nigeria was established in March, 2007 under a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative, to build a specialized University to produce a unique high level manpower and relevant expertise for the  Oil and Gas sector in Nigeria and worldwide.

 

FUPRE is the  first of its kind in Africa and it is destined to be the premier international institution of choice with state of the art of facilities to provide the petroleum and allied sector, world-class education, training, research, consultancy and extension services.

Pre-Qualification Requirements

1.       Evidence of incorporation or business name registration

2.       Registration with FUPRE in relevant category

3.       Company audited accounts for three (3) years

4.       Evidence of tax clearance certificate for three (3) years

5.       Evidence of payment of education tax (as applicable)

6.       Evidence of financial capability and banking support

7.       Experiences/technical qualification of key personnel

8.       Similar verifiable projects executed and evidence of knowledge of the industry

9.       Equipment and technology capacity

10.     Annual turnover

11.     VAT registration and evidence of past VAT remittances

12.     Evidence of payment of pre-qualification of fee of N10,000.oo through bank draft in favour of the Federal University of petroleum Resources, Effrurun to be exchanged for University official receipt at the Bursary Department.

 

Collection of Tender Documents

Pre-qualified contractors and supplies should  note that they will be required to pay non refundable fee of N10,000 per lot through bank draft in favour of the Federal University of Petroluem Resources, Effurun for tender documents.

Completed pre-qualification documents must be submitted in wax-sealed envelopes clearly marked “Confidential: FUPRE ETF Library Projects” on the top left hand side of the envelope and addressed to:

Deadline for Submission

Submission of documents closes on 11th April, 2011 by 12 noon. The pre-qualification documents will be publicly opened after the close of submission on the same day at 2.00pm in the University’s Auditorium.

 

Caveat

Response to this invitation shall not oblige the University to consider any responding firm for qualification. All costs incurred as a result of response to this invitation and any subsequent requests for information shall be borne by the responding Firm.

iii.            Current Tax Clearance and VAT Certificates;

vi.            Details of plants and equipment/machineries owned or to be hired;
Verifiable list of jobs successfully handled, stating the value in each case,
Evidence of access to financial resources up to N50m (for projects 1 -3) & N35m (for projects 4-6) line of credit including letter of reference from banker(s),
ix.            Evidence of payment of pre-qualification fees.
