2.       The Community Based Agriculture and Rural Development Project invites sealed bids for these works from interested bidders. The Bidding process will be competitive to private firms and voluntarily formed joint ventures duly registered to operate in Nigeria, with special advantage on firms that are within the Project States.

 

3.       Bidding documents (and additional copies) may be obtained at the CBARDP Offices listed below, for a non-refundable fee of N40,000.00 (forty thousand naira only per set), upon submission of a written request. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same offices.

 

4.       Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid Opening and must be accompanied by security of N200,000.00 (two hundred thousand naira only).

 

5.       Bids shall be delivered to the CBARDP Offices listed below, on or before 27th April, 2011 by 12:00noon, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend.

The design and delivery of a suitable Data Centre (DC) that meets best practices in the facilities it provides.

 

The scope shall cover:

  • The design of the Data Centre
  • The Delivery of the Data Centre
  • The supply of all peripherals (hardware and software, including standard utilities and other software tools) that maybe needed to run the Data Centre
  • Implementation of all supplied applications
  • Provision of maintenance and after- ‘delivery’ support for the Data Centre
  • Provision of any user training necessary

 

Lot 2 – LAN Cabling and Delivery of Network & VOIP Infrastructure

The LAN cabling of its office locations in Lagos and Abuja. Also, it shall include the delivery of an appropriate network and VOIP infrastructure.

The scope shall cover:

  • The supply of communication and network equipments
  • The setup/installation of the communication and network infrastructure
  • The supply of all peripherals (hardware and software, including standard utilities and other software tools) that may be needed to operate the communication and network infrastructure
  • Provision of maintenance and after ‘delivery’ support for the communication and network infrastructure
  • Provision of any user training necessary

 

Lot 3 – Supply and Deployment of Enterprise Productivity Solutions

Our Client intends to acquire and implement Microsoft’s suite of enterprise productivity solutions to support the process of achieving optimal operational effectiveness using a uniform platform. They therefore request responses to this EOI for vendors to supply and deploy the following applications;

Collaboration Tools – Microsoft Office SharePoint Server

Unified Communications – Microsoft Exchange Server

Desktop & Server Infrastructure – Microsoft Active Directory & Identity Life Cycle Manager

Microsoft Office Professional – Access, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher, SharePoint Workspace, Visio, and Word They are also required to provide the following:

  • The supply of associated system software, including standard utilities and other software tools that may be needed to run the solution (s)

Lot 4 – Supply and Implementation of Core Applications

Our Client intends to acquire and implement a suite of core applications to support its core operations. The core solution should pay particular emphasis to Loans Management, Asset Management, Investment Management, Risk Management, and Document Management.

 

The scope of the activities should address the following:

  • The supply of a suite of appropriate IT Solutions
  • The supply of associated system software, including standard utilities and other software tools that may be needed to run the solution(s)
  • Implementation of all supplied applications
  • Provision of maintenance and after-sales support of supplied applications
  • Provision of user training

 

Lot 5 – Supply and Implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solution

Our Client intends to acquire and implement an ERP Solution to support its  organizational support activities. The ERP on the other hand should address Financials, HR, Procurement and broad business process and IT integration.

 

The scope of the activities should address the following:

  • The supply of a suite of appropriate ERP Solutions
  • The supply of associated system software, including standard utilities and other software tools that maybe needed to run the solution(s)
  • Implementation of all supplied applications
  • Provision of maintenance and after-sales support of support of supplied applications
  • Provision of user training

 

Lot 6 – Supply and Deployment of Core Network/Security Solutions and Infrastructure

Our Client intends to acquire and implement a Network Security Solution to secure its information technology resources. They therefore request responses to this EOI for vendors to supply and deploy an appropriate security solution.

The scope shall cover:

  • The supply of a suite of appropriate Network Security Solutions and Infrastructure
  • The supply of associated system software, including standard utilities and other software tools that may be needed to run the solution (s)
  • Installation/Implementation of all supplied hardware/applications
  • Provision of maintenance and after-sales support of supplied solution
  • Provision of user training

 

Lot7-Supply and Deployment of Hardware: Servers, Storage Solutions and Associated Peripherals

Our Client intends to acquire and deploy the appropriate hardware and data storage to support its various applications. They therefore request responses to this EOI for vendors to supply and deploy servers, a storage solution, and all associated peripheral devices.

The EOI shall cover:

  • The supply of a suite of server hardware, data storage solution, PCs, Printers and related peripherals
  • The supply of associated system software, including standard utilities and other software tools that may be needed to run the solution(s)
  • Installation/Implementation of all supplied hardware/applications
  • Provision of maintenance and after-sales support of supplied solution
  • Provision of user training

 

Requirements

Vendors are required to submit an EOI with the following requirements which shall be used as criteria for preliminary selection.

 

MANDATORY (without which the firm will be disqualified)

a.    Evidence of incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

b.    Evidence of Professional License to carry out the specific services,

c.     Evidence of payment of tax for the last three (3) years as at when due

d.   Evidence of employees Retirement Savings Accounts (RSA) with a pension Fund Administrator,

e.     Evidence of remitting employer and employee pension contributions to the appropriate pension fund custodian,

f.    Evidence of participation in similar projects of value not less than N100 million,

g.   References of satisfactory performance on similar projects from five (5) previous clients.

h.    Corporate profile of the firm including CV of key personnel Supported by Professional licenses, registered address, functional contact email address, GSM phone number(s), facsimile number(s).

i.    Audited accounts in the last three (3) years dully stamped by licensed Auditors.

j.    Verifiable reference of related services rendered in the last three (3) years (attach letters of engagement)

 

Confidentiality

The information acquired by the Vendor in the course of implementing the project shall be subject to strict confidentiality. That is the information shall not be disclosed to any other party and/or be used for any other third party assignment unless with the express written consent of our client or as required by law. The Vendor shall further indemnify our Client in respect of any losses, damages, claims, liability, cost or expenses to be suffered as a result of such disclosure.

1.       This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Daily Trust Newspapers of April 2, 2009 as published by Federal Ministry of Health.

 

2.       The Government of Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the international Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the Kebbi Slate Second Health Systems Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for Construction of Perimeter Wall at Male Hosted School of Nursing B/Kebbi, drilling of borehole and Water reticulation at Kwasara

4.       Bidding will be conducted through the National competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credit, January 1995 (revised January and August 1996 and September 1997), and is open to all bidders, from eligible source countries as defined, in the guidelines.

 

5.       Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the Kebbi State Second Health Systems Development Project at the address below, from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Mondays through Thursdays and 9:00 to 1:00pm Fridays.

 

6.       Qualifications requirements include:

  • An average annual financial amount of construction work over the last five years of:

a)       Lot 1 NGN 33,000.000

b)      Lot 2 NGN30,000,000

  • Experience as prime contractor in the carrying out of at least two projects of similar nature and complexity equivalent to the Works over the last five years (to comply with this requirement, the works cited should be at least 70 percent complete)
  • Availability (own, lease, hire, etc.) of the essential equipment listed in the Bidding Data sheet;
  • Liquid assets and/or credit facilities, net of other contractual commitments and exclusive of any advance payments which may be made under the Contract, of no less than:-

a)     Lot 1:          NGN 719,444

b)     Lot 2: NGN 1,315,555

 

A margin of preference for eligible national contractors/joint ventures shall not be applied.

B1     Pre-Qualification Requirement

Prospective contractors shall be required to possess the following pre-qualification documents.

(a)     Valid certificate of registration/incorporation

(b)     Current Tax Clearance certificate for the last (3) years, Valid up to December 31st 2010

(c)      Value Added Tax Registration Certificate

(d)     Evidence of registration as a contractor with the National industrial Court or renewal thereof

(e)      Company’s resume including details of key staff strength to be deployed for execution of the contract

(f)      Detailed of equipment and plants, including machineries owned or tobe hired

(g)     Name and Address of Banker(s) including a letter of reference/guarantee from the Bank

(h)     Evidence of involvement and experience in similar contracts stating contract sums showing evidence of award and timely completion

Procurement and Installation of Local Area Network Infrastructure for NAMA

1.       This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue No. ID 100785 of 4th June 2007, Guardian & Thisday newspapers of 1st June 2007.

 

2.       The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of West & Central Africa Air Transport Safety & Security Program (WCAATSSP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for the Procurement and installation of Network infrastructure for NAMA. (Information System) No.: WCAATSSP/ICTNET/01/2010.

 

3.       The  Project  Coordination Unit (PCU) of the Federal Ministry of Aviation now invites sealed bids  from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of the following.

Note: Bidders can only bid for two Lots only.

4.       Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the  World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Sources Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

 

5.       Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Project Coordination Unit (PCU) of the  Federal Ministry of Aviation at the address below and inspect the Bidding  documents from 11.00am to 4.00pm  Mondays to Fridays, except on public holidays.

 

6.       Qualifications requirement include:

evidence of at least three (3) previous contracts for supply (sale) and delivery of similar Goods and solutions and Equipment proposed, with size equivalent to the lot(s) bided, over the last 5 years.

Financial Statements for the  last 3 years to demonstrate the financial capability of the Bidder in terms of Profitability and adequate working capital.

 

7.       A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable  fee N15,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) only or in 100 USD (Hundred UD Dollars). The method of payment will be cash or bank draft in favour of West & Central Africa Air Transport Safety and Security Program (WCAATSSP). The Bidding Documents will be collected by the  representative of the Bidder or by courier services on request.

 

8.       Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 26th April 2011 by  12.00noon. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids  will be opened  in the presence of the  bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below on 26th April, 2011 by 12.00 noon.
