The Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State, Nigeria was established in March 2007 under a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative to build a specialized University to produce unique high level manpower and relevant expertise for the Oil and Gas sector in Nigeria and worldwide.

 

FUPRE is the first of its kind in Africa and it is destined to be the premier international institution-of-choice with state-of-the-art facilities to provide the petroleum and allied sectors, world-class education, training, research, consultancy and extension services.

 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified security companies to fill vacancies in the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun.

 

 

Requirements

  • Company wishing to apply as service providers must possess the following:
  • Certificate   of  incorporation  from  Corporate   Affairs Commission
  • Private Guard Company Licence (from Nigeria Security &
  • Civil Defence Corps)
  • Bank Guarantee
  • Income Tax  Clearance  Certificate  (Tax  Identification
  • Number)
  • Insurance of Casualty (Workmen Compensation)
  • FUPRE Contractors’ Registration (Receipt)
  • Must have established office in Effurun/Warri
  • Must attach a security plan
  • Must have been in security business not less than 5 years post-incorporation
  • Pay non-refundable application fee of N50,000.00

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, hereby invites interested and qualified contractors for pre-qualification on the following projects:

 

i.            Equipment “A” (40 (Nos) Computers and accessories
ii.            Equipment “B”(Bookshelves, lockers, bookends, etc.)
iii.            Equipment “C” (Computer chairs and desks)

 

 

 

 

Pre-Qualification Requirements

  1. Evidence of incorporation or business name registration
  2. Registration with FUPRE in relevant category
  3. Company audited accounts for three (3) years
  4. Evidence of tax clearance certificate for three (3) years
  5. Evidence of payment of education tax (as applicable)
  6. Evidence of financial capability and banking support
  7. Experiences/technical qualification of key personnel
  8. Similar verifiable projects executed and evidence of knowledge of the industry
  9. Equipment and technology capacity
  10. Annual turnover
  11. VAT registration and evidence of past VAT remittances
  12. Evidence of payment of pre-qualification fee of N10,000.00 for each category through bank draft in favour of the Federal University of  Petroleum Resources, Effurun to be exchanged for University official receipt at the Bursary Department

CAVEAT

Response to this invitation shall not oblige the University to consider any responding Firm for qualification. All costs incurred as a result of Response to this invitation and any subsequent requests for information shall be borne by the responding Firm.

Appointment as External Auditor at Federal University of Technology, Owerri

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri, hereby invites eligible audit firms to apply to be considered for Appointment as External Auditor to the University.

 

2.0          Pre-Qualification Requirements

The interested audit firms are invited to submit the following documents in their applications:

(i)    Tax clearance certificate for the last 3 (three) years.

(ii)          Evidence of company registration with Corporate Affairs Commission,

(iii)        Evidence of company registration with relevant professional body(ies) in Nigeria and or diaspora/international.

 

(iv)   Verifiable list of similar and other audit jobs successfully done with their locations and dates. Please include copies of letters of such appointments.

 

(v)    Avowed applicable auditing methods, equipment and materials to be used. State whether these are indigenous/privately patented, on lease, hired or owned;

 

(v)    List of name of professional to be used, their qualifications and years of experience, enclose photocopies of professional certificates where applicable.

 

3.0      Conditions and Procedure for Application

All interested audit firms must be registered with the University as consultants and must pay a non-refundable fee of N30, 000.00 at the Bursary Department. The copy of the above receipts must be enclosed with the pre-qualification requirement for the application to be submitted.

 

4.0          Submission of Application

Interested audit firms must submit on or before 24th March 2011 separate copies in wax sealed envelopes and marked “External Auditor Application on the right hand side of the envelope and addressed to:-

Preamble:

Approval has been granted to the Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board to carry out rehabilitation works in schools. The works include renovation, restructuring /reconstruction of existing dilapidated school buildings, construction of new classrooms to address shortfall of accommodation and the supply of Instructional materials, pupils’ and teachers’ furniture under the 2008/2009 matching grant intervention fund to meet the learning needs of the selected schools on a Comprehensive basis.

 

The works are to be executed in a time range of 8 to 12 weeks.

 

Accordingly, applications for pre-qualification of contractors are invited from interested companies registered by the Cross River State Due Process and Price Intelligence Dept. in the categories E and above

 

2.       Scope of Work

The work comprise:-

Renovation/Restructuring and Reconstruction of dilapidated school buildings,

 

Lot 1 Construction of new classrooms and new toilet building

 

Lot 2 Supply of Pupils and Teachers furniture as well as ECCDE furniture

 

Lot 3 Supply of Instructional materials

 

3.       Criteria for Pre-Qualification of Contractors

To qualify for pre-qualification, the interested companies should submit 2 copies of their profiles which should include:

 

  • Evidence of incorporation of company or business name
  • Registration with the CRS Due Process and Price Intelligence Department in the relevant category
  • Company Audited Accounts for the past three years (2008-2010)
  • Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the past 3 years (2008-2010)
  • Evidence of Financial Capability and Bank Support
  • Experience/ Technical qualification and experience of key personnel
  • Evidence of Registration of Technical Personnel with relevant Professional Regulating Bodies
  • Equipment and Technology capacity
  • Knowledge of the industry/similar projects executed in the past
  • VAT registration and evidence of VAT remittances
  • Annual Turn Over of company.

 

4.     Publication of Pre-Qualification Result/Invitation To Bid

The pre-qualified list of companies shall be published in the notice board of State University Basic Education Board, on 25th March 2011 after the close of applications for pre-qualification. Bidding documents shall be issued to only the successful companies.

 

5.       Mode of Submission/Deadline of Applications

All applications for pre-qualification of contractors are to be submitted in sealed envelopes measuring 29.5 x 36.5cm marked at the top right corner. PRE-QUALIFICATION”, according to the Lots specified above and addressed to:

Introduction

Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC) intends to award a contract for the charter and operation of one Line Handling Vessel.

 

The work location shall be Nigeria Agip Oil Company (Nigeria) Limited Swamp and Deep Offshore locations,

The proposed contract shall have duration of five (5) years effective from the date of supply and acceptance

 

2.       Scope Of Work

The scope of work shall be the charter and operation of one Line Handling Vessel for offshore operations, mooring the oil tankers at SBN buoy.
