1.       The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received  a credit from the International

Development Association toward the cost of Malaria Control Booster Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for procurement of Drugs.

 

2.       The Bauchi State Malaria Control Booster Project now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the following assorted drugs.

Note: All items (1-4) are under one lot. Bidders quoting for incomplete lot will have their bids declared nonresponsive.

 

3.       Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and are open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

 

4.       A complete set of Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee N10,000.00  (Ten thousand naira only).The method of payment will be certified cheque/bank draft in favor of Bauchi State Malaria Control Booster Project, or in cash.The document shall be collected by bidder’s representative.

 

5.       Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Bauchi State  Malaria Control Booster Protect and inspect the bidding documents at the address given       below from 9.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Thursday and  9.00am to 1.00pm , Friday, except on public holidays.

 

6.       Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11.00am 14th April, 2011.  Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected Bids will be  opened in the presence of bidder’s representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 11:00 am 14th April, 2011. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security as mentioned above, in a freely convertible currency.

2. Pre-Qualification Requirement

 

To quality for consideration, interested Companies or firms are required to submit the following veritable documents:

 

(a)     Incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs commission.

(b)               Evidence of Registration with Borno state Government as contractor on category

‘F’ and with the Borno state Ministry of Education, Maiduguri

(c)      Current Tax Clearance certificate in the last three (3) years.

(d)      Company VAT Registration Certificate for the last (3) years,

(e)      Company profile and qualification of some key officers of the organization.

(f)       A letter of ability to perform from your Bankers)

(g)      Evidence of experience on similar jobs.

 

3.  Submission of Bids Documents

The completed tender documents are to be submitted to the Director,  planning. Research and statistics, Borno state Ministry of education . Maiduguri on or before  31st March, 2011.

Opening of Tender Documents

Opening of tenders for pre-qualification will be on 31st March 2011. This notice will serve as an invitation to attend the opening of the tender document to all concern.

This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business No. 673 of February 28.2006 on-line and in DG Market.

 

The Federal Ministry of Finance (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) (hereinafter called “loan”) towards the cost of the Second National Urban Water Sector Reform Project (2nd Urban Water); Cr 4086 – UNI (PO71391). The Borrower intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services in Cross River State. The services involve Construction Supervision of the Rehabilitation/Extension of the Water Production and Distribution System for the northern town of Obudu.

The Cross River State Water Board Limited now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above mentioned services. Interested Consultants must provide indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.), Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedure set out in the World Bank Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers current edition.

Pre-Qualification Requirements

Prospective Suppliers/Bidders who must be reputable publishers, book stores or Companies are required to submit the following pre- qualification documents:-

a)     Valid evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

b)    Evidence of registration as a contractor/ supplier in category B with Kogi State University, Anyigba.

c)     Tax clearance certificate for the last 3 years.

d)    Company profile including details of key officers.

e)     Evidence of execution of similar projects stating clearly the  contract sums of such projects including copies of letters of award and completion certificates,

f)      Evidence of financial capability, including Bank reference,

g)     Company Audited accounts for 3 years.

h)    Annual turn over for 3 years,

i)       VAT registration and evidence of past VAT remittances.

 

Pre-qualification documents listed above should be neatly bound, marked “Pre-qualification documents for Tender for ETF 2009 and 2010 (Merged) Library Development intervention, stating the project” and submitted to the Registrar on or before 12noon of Wednesday 30th March, 2011.

Note: Only Companies that are pre-qualified shall have their Tender considered.

Tender Procedure

a)              Tender documents are to be collected from the office of the Director of works in the University upon presentation of original receipt from Bursary Department for payment of non refundable Tender fee of N10,000.00

b)             Completed Tenders should be returned in sealed envelopes marked “Tender for ETF 2009 and 2010 (Merged) Library Development intervention, stating the project and addressed to the Registrar, Kogi State University, P.M.B. 1008, Anyigba on or before 12noon of Wednesday 30th March, 2011,

c) Opening of Tender

Tenders shall be opened at 2,00pm on Wednesday 30th March, 2011 in the Council Chamber of the University.
