Pre-Qualification Notice

 

Introduction

The University of Port Harcourt invites interested and reputable contractors for a pre-qualification exercise for the following proposed ETF projects:

2.       Pre-qualification Requirements:

Interested and competent contractors wishing to be pre-qualified must submit the following:

 

i.            Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;
ii.            Evidence of registration with the University of Port Harcourt and with the Federal Ministry of  Works;
iii.            Current Tax Clearance and VAT Certificates;
iv.            Audited Accounts for the past three years;
v.            Company profile and organizational structure including names and resume of key contract staff with genuine reachable addresses and phone numbers (enclose photocopies of credentials);
vi.            Details of plants and equipment/machineries owned or to be hired;
Verifiable list of jobs successfully handled, stating the value in each case,
Evidence of access to financial resources up to N50m (for projects 1 -3) & N35m (for projects 4-6) line of credit including letter of reference from banker(s),
ix.            Evidence of payment of pre-qualification fees.

 

 

 

4.       Submission of Documents

The pre-qualification documents must be returned in two (2) copies in wax-sealed envelopes, marked:

  1. “Pre-Qualification for Construction of Agric Building ;
  2. “Pre-Qualification for Construction of Power Engineering Building”;
  3. “Pre-Qualification for Construction of Basic Medical Sciences Building”;
  4. “Pre-Qualification for Construction of Music Building”;
  5. “Pre-Qualification for Construction of Office Building”;
  6. “Pre-Qualification for Construction of Central Instruments Laboratory Building”,
  7. “Pre-Qualification for Construction of Entrepreneurial Centre”;
  8. “Pre-Qualification for Construction of Block of Lecture Halls”.

Submission of the pre-qualification bids will close at 11.00 a.m., April, 04, 2011. The bids will be opened on the same day at 1 2. 00 noon, in the Conference Room of the University Senate Building, in   the   presence   of all   bidders,   financing/regulatory bodies, Professional bodies, Non-Governmental Agencies and Staff Unions
