Request for Expression of Interest

This request for Expression of Interest (EOI) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in the Development Gateway Market Web Site and appeared in Development Business, issue no. 725 of 30th day of Apri1,2008; The Kaduna State Government has received a credit of from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP I) in Kaduna State and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Consultancy Services for Preparation of Road Management System in Kaduna State.

 

The study which is to improve capacity in road management in all government agencies responsible for management of roads will focus on:

 

The Consultant shall undertake the following;

  • Preparation of a CIS-based State Road Map;
  • Road Inventory. Study;
  • Bridge Inventory Study;
  • Establishment of a Road Management: Information System.
  • Refinement and development of roads and bridges management policy;

 

The implementing agency, the State Project Implementation Unit (SPFU) on behalf of Kaduna State Ministry of Work and Transport, now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff etc).

Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a subconsultancy to enhance their qualifications. The consultant will be selected using Quality Cost Based Selection

(QCBS) method of selection of consultants in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011.

1.       Introduction

The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, is a Parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health. In accordance with the provisions of Public Procurement Act, 2007, the Council hereby invites Contractors to tender for the Construction of standard Steel water tanks for an existing Borehole at the Council’s permanent site, Abuja.(Reticulation of Water Bore Hole) as follows;

  • Construction of one Steel Tank of Standard Size 3.66m x 2.44m of 21.821 Litres Capacity as a Ground Tank.
  • One Cover, Water Level Indicator size 2.44m deep.
  • One External Ladder Size 2.44m high.
  • Erect tank and Cover in a watertight Condition in floor Platform.
  • Erect one Steel Tower Structure of 15m high to hold Steel Tank of 3.66m x 2.44m x 1 .22m of 10.91 0 litres Capacity.
  • Steel Tower fitted with complete Catwalk of 91 cm, hand railing and 91cm operating Platform.

 

 

2.       Tender Requirements

  2. Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.

The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Sustainable Management of Mineral Resources Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for this consulting service.

 

The consulting service is on the Capacity Building for Members of NMGS: Short Course on Bankable Feasibility Studies, Practical Geological Mapping, Mineral Exploration and Mining Techniques

 

The Consultants would first develop the curricular for the course. He would meet with the officials of SMMRP/NMGS to agree on the developed curricula. The approved curricular would form the trust of the course. The course will be delivered to selected graduate and undergraduate members of NMGS.

 

The Sustainable Management of Mineral Resources Project now invites eligible Consulting firm to indicate interest in providing the services. Interested Consultants must provide the information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, etc).

 

Interested Consultant Firms must provide the information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (CVs, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc).

 

A consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (May 2004 edition).

Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors/Suppliers for the 2012 Capital Projects

The Division of Agricultural Colleges, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria intends to execute capital projects under the Year 2012. The Management invites experienced and reputable contractors/suppliers to apply for Pre-qualification in respect of the underlisted projects:

 

 

LOT A:       Construction of New Academic Building.

LOT B:       Rehabilitation of Academic Building.

LOT C:       Improvement to Infrastructural Facilities.

LOT D:       Supply of Teaching and Research Equipment.

 

2.       TECHNICAL BID:

The pre-qualification documents should include:

a.       Evidence   of   Incorporation/Registration   with   Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

b.       Current Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2009-2011).

c.       Company Audited Accounts for the last three years (2009 – 2011) including annual turn-over.

d.       VAT registration and evidence of remittances in the last three years (2009 -2011).

e.       Evidence of remittance of pension contribution fund for staff of the company from reputable pension Administrators as provided in section 16, subsection 6 (d) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007.

f.       Evidence of Financial capability to execute the project i.e. Bank reference and a letter of credit facility from a reputable Commercial Bank with a commitment to provide loan facility for the execution of the contract if eventually won.

g.       List of similar, verifiable and successfully executed projects or ongoing by the Company with letters of award and completion certificates, in the last five years. Only letters of award and interim certificate of payment should be attached for projects that are ongoing.

h.       List of Managerial, Key Technical and Administrative Staff of the Company which should include names, curriculum vitae and copies of certificates for each key staff.

i.        List of Equipment owned or on lease-hold by the company relevant for smooth execution of the project. Evidence of ownership and pictures with company Logo is an added advantage.

j.        Interested Bidders should note that they will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of N15, 000.00 (Fifteen thousand naira) only for pre-qualification.

 

The completed pre-qualification documents must be in sealed envelope and the title of the project tendered for should be marked clearly on the top left hand corner of the envelope. Photocopy of the payment receipt should be enclosed.

 

3.       Submission for Prequalification

The pre-qualification documents should be addressed to:

The Secretary, Division of Agricultural Colleges, Ahmadu Bello University, Samaru – Zaria and to be deposited in the designated tender box at the office of the Secretary, DAC, ABU, Zaria. The receipt of pre-qualification documents will close 1st May, 2012.

All pre-qualification documents will be opened at 1.30 pm in the DAC Board Room, ABU, Zaria in the presence of bidders or their representatives.

(a)     Submissions of pre-qualification documents to DAC/ABU, Zaria is neither a commitment nor an obligation to award any contract to any supplier/contractor or agent.

(b)     Advertisement for invitation for expression of interest for pre-qualification should not be construed as a commitment on the part of DAC/ABU, Zaria or shall it entitle supplier/contractor to make any claims whatsoever or seek an indemnity from DAC/ABU, Zaria.

 

(c)      Due diligence would be followed as all documents submitted would be verified.
