1.0. The Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute intends to execute some capital projects including constituency projects under its 2013 Capital Appropriation.

2.0. Scope of Project

Lot 1 Goods

(a) Supply of 16 seater bus, capacity not below 2.7. Litre Engine Capacity

(b) Supply of Analytical Chemicals Reagents and Equipment

Distoner, Par boiler, Dryer, Packaging facilities at the Institute’s Headquarters, Ilorin

Lot 2 Works

(a) Constituency Project:

(i) Development of Cassava Processing Centre for Enterprises Development of Youth in Ekiti Local Government, Kwara State

(b) Rehabilitation of Hostel Complex at the Institute’s headquarters, Ilorin

(d) Construction of Road from the Staff quarters to the second gate

(e) Furnishing of Conference Centre in Ibadan

(f) Re-roofing of the Administrative Block/Offices in Kano

3. Eligibility

To be eligible, prospective contractors must submit the following documents

Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
Evidence of Tax Clearance for the last 3 year
Value Added Tax, Registration Certificate
Evidence of compliance with the provisions of the Pension Reform Act 2004
Evidence of compliance with ITF provisions
Verifiable Evidence of Similar Jobs done within the last three years stating the names of clients’ locations of projects. Letter of “Contract Award, Certificate of Practical Completion and Certification of Projects.
Company’s Audited Account for the last three years
List of equipment to be used and location where applicable, stating whether owned or leased
An affidavit of not having any director convicted for an offence relating to fraud or financial impropriety
An affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of NSPRI is a former or present director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and that all information presented in the bids are true and correct in all particular
Letter of consent from professionals to be engaged on the project.

4. Collection of Tenders

Tenders can be collected from the office of the Assistant Director, ground floor, KM 3, Asa Dam Road, Ilorin on payment of N10.000 non refundable tender fee in bank draft in favour of Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute as from 8am to 3pm Monday to Friday each day.

5. Submission of Tender

Technical and financial bids should be in separate sealed envelopes and marked accordingly. The two bids s should be enclosed in one big sealed envelope indicating the contract name and lot. Bids are to be dropped in the tender box placed on the ground floor of the Administration Block, Km 3, Asa Dam Road, Ilorin.

6. Closing

All tenders must be submitted on or before 12 noon 25^th Nov., 2013. Bids will be opened immediately after closing at the Conference Room of the Institute, KM 3, Asa Dam Road, Ilorin. Bidders or their representatives are expected to be in attendance.

7. Additional Information

i. Prospective contractors must note that late submission will not be entertained as such bids will be returned un-opened to the bidders.

ii. Any bids submitted in the wrong place or through posting will not be treated

iii. Contractors are to state completion period in their bids

iv. Multiple biddings are not allowed

v. This is just an advertisement and does not constitute an obligation on the part of the Institute to continue with the projects as stated above.

Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) Zaria intends to Audit its Accounts as per the relevant provision of the Financial Regulations of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

A. Scope of the Work

The scope of the work shall include carrying out comprehensive audit of the Books of Accounts and all relevant Documents at the disposal of the Hospital

1.0 Preamble:

The Federal University Dutse in its effort to implement 2013 Capital Appropriation Projects hereby invites interested and reputable Contractors to tender for Financial and Technical bids exercise under the following Projects:-

p) Sighting of original copies of all the documents listed in the profile must be presented during opening of bids.

q) Payment of Non – Refundable fee of Twenty Five Thousand Naira (N25,000:00) only.

3.0. Verification of Claims:

Please note that Federal University Dutse reserves the right to verify claims made for the purpose of pre-qualification and financial tender as submitted by interested contractors.

4.0. Collection and Submission of Documents:

Documents can be obtain from the office of the Registrar and should be filled and neatly packaged in a sealed envelopes marked “Technical and Financial Bid for Year 2013 Capital Appropriation Project” indicating in each case, the project Lot at the top left hand corner of each of the two envelopes to:- The Registrar, Federal University Dutse, P. M. B. 7156, Dutse, Jigawa State.

Submission of documents will close on 11^th November 2013 and should be made on or before 12.00 noon on the day of closing.

To be considered for Financial tendering, a bidder must score at least 70% and above for the listed category / Lot.

5.0. Opening of Documents:

Opening of bids will hold on Monday 11^th November, 2013 in the presence of applicants or their representatives at the Senate Building o the University located at the former Government House, Kandahar along Kiyawa Road, Dutse, Jigawa State.

6.0. Sighting of Original Documents Tendered:

Please note that the Federal University Dutse request all bidders to present all original document for sighting during the opening of bids exercise as any bidder who fails to present the original documents will be disqualified automatically.

7.0. Important Notice:

All applicants are to note that:-

1. Only firms capable of executing the jobs would be considered.

2. Nothing in this advert shall be construed to be a commitment by Federal University Dutse.

3. Failure to comply with any of the above instruction or to provide any of the above listed documents may automatically result in disqualification.

3. Collection

You are to collect Bidding documents from the Office of the Head of Procurement, Satellite Towns Development Authority (STDA), Office Complex, Wing BAMAC Secretariat Extension Apo – Abuja, upon the presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee stated below and payable into the STDA Treasury Revenue Account at UBA with Account No. 1016760164.

4. Submission

Works/Services: Original and two (2) other copies of the Technical and Financial bids are to be submitted in two separate envelopes. Envelopes for the Financial Proposals shall be duly marked “Technical Proposal” and “Financial Proposal” The two envelopes shall then be enclosed in one single outer envelope and forwarded in sealed envelopes, marked on the TOP left hand corner boldly written Project/Lot”. The inner and outer envelope;

(a) Bear the name and address of the Consultant; envelopes).

(b) Be addressed to the Client at the address specified (inner and outer envelopes).

(d) Bear a statement “Do Not open with the proposal.” (inner financial envelope) The documents are to be dropped in the Tender Box in the office of the Head of Procurement, STDA Office Complex, Wing BAMAC Secretariat Extension Apo – Abuja not noon on Tuesday 19^th November, 2013 and tenders will take place at 12.30 pm on the same day in the presence of bidders’ representatives and members of the public who choose to attend. Only those companies/firms that are technically qualified will be invited for financial bid opening.

5. Please Note:

Any submission of documents after the 12.30 pm deadline of 19^th November, 2013 (for Works/Services) will not be accepted.

i. All CAC, VAT, PENCOM, ITF, NSITF and Tax Clearance Certificates submitted shall be referred to security Agencies, Corporate Affairs Commission, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Industrial Training Fund, National Pension Commission and other relevant bodies for verification.

ii. This invitation shall not be construed to be a commitment or obligation on the part of STDA for award of any form of contract to any respondent nor shall it entitle any Company/Firm submitting documents to claim any indemnity from the Agency

iii. Bidders are expected to adhere strictly to All instructions as non-compliance may constitute a ground for dis-qualification.
