The task is to be completed within one year, hence, the Company intends to engage the services of qualified /competent contractors to tender for the Construction of the under listed Houses:

  1. Two, three Bedrooms Semi-detached bungalow & duplex
  2. Two, three, four & five Bedrooms detached bungalow & duplex
  3. Two and three bedrooms block of flats
  4. One, two and three Bedrooms terrace bungalow

PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Interested contractors are invited to submit the following pre-qualification documents

(i)                Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission

(ii)             Evidence of registration with ISVIN VENTURES NIGERIA LIMITED

(iii)           Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years

(iv)           VAT registration certificate

(v)             Audited account of the company for the last three (3) years

(vi)           Veritable list of similar and other projects successfully executed with their locations, including copies of letters of award and completion certificates

(vii)        List of names of key professional to be involved in the project, stating their qualifications and professional registration(s)

(viii)      Pre-qualification documents must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Confidential- Pre-Qualification” and addressed to:

a)     A complete set of Tender Documents is to be purchased by interested bidders at the cost of N50,000 and N100,000 only, depending on the type/scope of work from the office of ISVIN VENTURES NIGERIA LIMITED, 9 Khartoum Street off Accra Street, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, Between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm on weekdays.

b)    Tender must show evidence that they possess the resources to execute the job

c)     Tenders must include all necessary credentials to show their technical competent to execute the job.

d)    Tender documents will only be issued to qualified and experience contractors

The Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) Jebba Hydro Electric’ Power Plc, is inviting competent and reputable Civil Engineering Consultancy Firm to submit expression of interest to Jebba Hydro Electric Plc, Jebba, Niger State.

Scope of Works:

The Scope of Works shall include:

LOT 1:        Consultancy assignment for Rehabilitation of 96.4MW Turbine

Generator Power Unit.

LOT 2:       Provide Consultancy Services for construction of Perimeter

A.        Requirements

C. Important Information

  • The submission should be a well-paged document with Table of Contents following the requirements serially.
  • Only companies whose technical submissions are pre-qualified shall be invited for submission of proposal.

Disability Support Project (Phase 2) Request For Expressions of Interest

“The MTN Nigeria Foundation Limited by Guarantee (MTNF Ltd/Gte) was established, by MTN Nigeria Communications Limited, in July 2004 to drive MTN Nigeria’s Corporate Social investment (CSI) initiatives aimed at Improving the quality of life in communities across the country.

Project Description and Location

The MTNF recognises the importance of empowering people living with disabilities, and as such, distributed its first set of disability aids and appliances to 11 states and the FCT in December 2009,    Now the Foundation is ready to roll out the second phase of the project,

The beneficiary states of the second phase of the MTNF Disability Support Project are Abia, Bauchi, Borno, Edo, Enugu, Kano, Katsina, Kogi, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun and Rivers. The remaining 12 states will be covered in the third phase of the project.

Project Objectives

The MTN Foundation seeks to support this segment of the public by the provision of these appliances to improve accessibility and functionality, as well as to enable inclusion for persons living with disabilities.

The Mobility Aids and Appliances to be distributed include:

  1. Wheelchairs
  2. Tricycles
  3. Walking Sticks
  4. Armpit Crutches
  5. Elbow Crutches
  6. Guide Canes
  7. Braille Machines
  8. Braille Wristwatches
  9. Hearing Aids

The MTN Foundation will also provide training for project personnel on repairs of the types of mobility aids and appliances to be distributed to ensure sustainability,

MTN Foundation now invites submission of Expressions of Interest from Special Homes, Integrated Schools, Institutions and Associations for physically challenged, visually and hearing impaired individuals from the states listed above Expressions of Interest should be done by the above listed type of organisations on behalf of individuals living with disabilities in their care.

Please note that following strict selection criteria, appropriate disability aids and appliances will be given directly to the end users only. Hearing aids will also be given to selected candidates who have been tested by the audiologist based on quantities available.

Beneficiary Selection Process and Criteria:

Pre – Qualification Requirements

  • To qualify for consideration, applicants must;
  • Be persons with disabilities;
  • Reside in one of the states listed above;
  • Be willing to participate in the Vulnerability Index Analysis (set of criteria used to measure groups of people who are most likely to be endangered in the event of adverse circumstances of life);
  • Provide contact details for two persons (name, address, telephone no, e-mail if available) through whom the beneficiary can be reached;
  • Provide medical certificate or report from a Federal or State hospital confirming type of mobility aid/appliance needed.
    • Provide two passport size photographs required for identification card

Recipients of the mobility aids and appliances wilt be notified in due course,

Interested Special Homes, Integrated Schools, Federal & State Teaching Hospitals, State General Hospitals and Associations for disabled persons from the states listed above should collect application forms from Contact Project Field Officers through the Rehabilitation Department of the Ministries of Women Affairs in the 12 state/LGAs, Special Homes, Integrated Schools, Federal & State Teaching Hospitals, State General Hospitals and Associations for disabled persons situated in these states.

Completed application forms should be forwarded on or before 7th June, 2010
