  1. CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN AND SUPERVISION OF:

a)     Construction of Flying School 1st Floor Classroom Block

b)    Construction/Rehabilitation of Road Network.

c)     Construction of Concrete-Chain links Perimeter Fencing of Aero Medical Centre

The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria has appropriated funds in its year 2010 IGR/FGN budget for projects and intends to apply a portion of the funds to procure consultancy services.

The College therefore wishes to procure the services of consulting firm or organization with specific expertise, proven track record and experience in design and supervision of construction of Multi-Storey educational buildings, Estate Roads Network and Perimeter Fencing.

The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff etc,). Such expertise could include Project Management, Design of Storey Buildings/Educational Buildings, Integration of Teaching/Training Aids and ICT Facilities, Construction/ Rehabilitation of Road Network etc. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

Scope of Services:

The scope of the services will include but not limited to:

  1. Design of the Storey Buildings/Educational Buildings, College Roads Network and Perimeter Fencing of Aero Medical Centre.
  2. Preparation of Bills of quantities and all drawings
  3. Preparation of tender documents and evaluation of tenders.
  4. Supervision of construction of  Storey Buildings/Educational Buildings
  5. Submission of reports

Duration of the Service:

The assignment must be completed within a period of Three (3) months – One (1) year from the date of signing of contract agreement. The consultants will be selected in accordance with the Consultant Qualification Selection (COS) procedures set out in the Procurement Act 2007 and Procurement Procedures Manual.

Interested consultants may as from 31st May, to 14th June, 2010 request further information from the address below during office hours of 9.00am 4.00pm Mondays to Fridays, except on public holidays.

The Expression of Interest should be addressed and delivered on or before 4.00pm on Monday 21st June, 2010 at the address shown below. 5.   Submission of regular projects reports

INVITATION TO PRE-QUALIFICATION

INTRODUCTION

The National Centre for Hydropower Research and Development (NACHRED)

invites interested and Credible Companies to apply for pre qualification as Consultant and Contractors for various projects of the Centre for the 2010 fiscal year.

SCOPE

The scope of works includes

LOT 1:        Comprehensive survey of the National’s large and small hydropower resources.

LOT 2:        Procurement of furniture and equipment

LOT 3:        Construction of fence, gate and gatehouse

3.       PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

Interested consultants and contractors are required to submit Pre-qualification documents with verifiable evidence including but not limited to the following:

(i)                Evidence of incorporation of the company by Corporate Affairs Commission

(ii)             Evidence of tax clearance certificate for the last three years

(iii)           VAT registration and proof of past remittances

(iv)           Company profile and organizational including names of key personnel, telephone numbers

(v)             Company audited accounts for the last three years

(vi)           The list of similar jobs executed with evidence or names of clients, location of projects, letter of contract award, certificate of practical completion and cost of projects.

(vii)        List of equipment to be used where applicable and their location

(viii)      Articulated work plan and methodology (LOT1only)

4.         SUBMISSION

1.0 INTRODUCTION

The Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited (KRPC), a Subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation NNPC wishes to invite reputable Companies to submit relevant documents to pre-qualify for Conversion of Taxi parking LOT opposite KRPC IN GATE into an additional car parking LOT.

2. 0    SCOPE OF WORK

The scope of work for the Conversion of Taxi parking LOT opposite KRPC IN GATE, an additional car parking LOT, includes but not limited to the following.

  • Clearing the site.
  • Backfill and stone pitch all eroded portion of the side of the road.
  • Construct perimeter chain link to cover all the area to be secured as car park.
  • Construct 2nos.security gates and gate houses
  • Concrete the entire parking space.
  • Commissioning.

3.0     PRE-QUALIFICATION

Only companies qualified from this pre-qualification exercise shall be invited to the competitive tender for the said project. Interested compa­nies are required to submit documents which addresses the pre-qualification requirements. Failure to submit the required documents will automatically disqualify the applicant. Pre-qualification documents will as a minimum, address the following requirements in chapters separated by dividers

  1. Full details of Company Profile.
  2. Certificate of Incorporation, Evidence of Registration with relevant government agency. Evidence of Registration with NNPC/KRPC in relevant category, Income Tax Clearance Certificate (for 3 yrs if applicable), Tax (including VAT) Registration Number, Evidence of Registration with DPR.
  3. Company Organizational chart, Project Organisational chart, Industry experience, Similar Project Experience, CVs of Key Personnel for the Project, Available Equipment/Tools, Execution Strategy.
  4. Company Financial Statement and Audited accounts for the last Three (3) years, Principal Bankers. Credit facility (if any) and Bankers support
  5. HSE Policy and Plan (policy must be signed), HSE Practice and Records (previous Records with evidence)
  6. Community relation Policy and Practice
  7. Nigerian Content Vehicle (mandatory when applicable), Nigerian Content Policy and Practice (policy must be signed) plan to utilize Nigerian Manpower, Goods and Services, Plan to Capacity Building, Training and skills acquisition for Nigerians
  8. All documents to be provided as evidence of technical capability and relevant experience are of advantage as referenced to the project as defined in the work scope
