All tenders must be accompanied with the following documents:

  1. Evidence of registration of company with Corporate Affairs Commission.
  2. Evidence of registration with the Works Registration Board of the Ministry of Works for year 2010.
  3. Evidence of payment of N20, 000 (Twenty Thousand Naira) only to Ondo State Government Treasury as Tender Fees for LOT 1 to 2.
  4. Evidence of payment of Ten thousand (N10, 000.00) naira only to Ondo State Government Treasury as Tender fees for LOTS 3 to 14.
  5. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for 2007, 2008 and 2009.
  6. Evidence of payment of Ondo State Development Levy for three (3) years (2008, 2009, 2010)

Invitation to Tender

The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) has decided to re-advertise the construction of Igbokoda – Ayetoro Road, Phase III (Ugbonla-Eruna), being Lot 43 in the ‘Invitation to Tender’ published on 23 July, 2010 in The Nation and 24 July 2010 in both Nigerian Tribune and Weekend Hope.

All prospective bidders are to note that details about the job are available in the Commission and are obtainable on the presentation of evidence of payment of twenty-five thousand Naira (N25, 000.00) only. Details of the Bank Account into which the sum is to be paid should be obtained from the Accounts Division of the Commission at Oba-Ile.

Qualification for Tendering:

Interested contractors are expected to submit the following documents along with their bids:

  1. Certificate of Incorporation/Registration of company with the Corporate Affairs Commission (C AC).
  2. Evidence of payment of Ondo State development levy for 3 years (2008-2010).
  3. Three years tax clearance certificate (2007-2009).
  4. Evidence of registration with Ondo State Ministry of Works in appropriate category.
  5. Evidence of registration with the Commission in appropriate category.
  6. Company profile detailing technical, and managerial competences as well as evidence of execution of similar projects in Ondo State or elsewhere in Nigeria; and,
  7. Copy of receipt of payment of appropriate tender fee.

Submission of Tenders and Bid Opening

Duly completed documents should be enclosed in wax-sealed envelopes, clearly marked at the top left hand corner with the Lot number/item, and addressed to The Secretary, Ondo State Tenders Board, Cabinet and Special Services Department, Governor’s Office, Akure, Ondo State, to reach him on or before 3.00p.m on Thursday, 16th November 2010. The lot should be completed in duplicate (one original and a copy) and enclosed in a single envelope as indicated.

Contractors who submitted bids in response to earlier advertisement on this job need not submit another.

Bids will be opened at the same location as the submission, on a date and at a time to be announced and in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. The Commission is neither committed to nor bound to accept any bid submitted.

  • Evidence of experience in supply of similar nature and complexity, executed within the last five (5) years, with verifiable letters of contract award and certificates of job completion.
  • List of personnel: their qualifications (CV) and experience in similar supplies.
  • Financial status of the company, through annual financial reports in the last three (3) years
  • VAT Certificate and FIRS PIN Number
  • Bank reference letter
  • Full Accounts details including SORT code
  • Evidence of pension and Social Security Contribution

For Consultancy Services:

  • Certificate of Registration with CAC.
  • Evidence of Payment of Income Tax in the last three (3) years (Tax Clearance Certificate)
  • Evidence of experience in at least five (5) jobs of similar nature and complexity, executed within the last five years, with verifiable letters of contract award and certificates of job completion.
  • Company profile with copy of Article of Association, memoranda of Understanding and Company’s Registration with professional bodies, particularly COREN;
  • Evidence of personnel capability including list of key professionals, curriculum vitae (CV) of each professional, registration with professional bodies such as COREN, etc
  • Submission of three (3) years Audited Accounts with Annual Turn Over of N5million in any of the last three (3) years.

7.0     Opening of Bids:

The Technical Bid Opening exercise shall be conducted publicly in the Training School Auditorium of Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority on the closing date of submission, Friday, November 19th 2010, beginning from 2.00 p.m.

Only the successful Bidders at the technical stage will have their Financial Tenders opened at a date to be announced in the print media.

All Bidders are expected to bring along the ORIGINAL COPIES of their Certificates of Incorporation and Tax Clearance, for sighting, if required.

All Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) are invited to witness the Bids Opening.
