Construction of Igbokoda-Ayetoro Road, Phase III:

Invitation to Tender

The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) has decided to re-advertise the construction of Igbokoda – Ayetoro Road, Phase III (Ugbonla-Eruna), being Lot 43 in the ‘Invitation to Tender’ published on 23 July, 2010 in The Nation and 24 July 2010 in both Nigerian Tribune and Weekend Hope.

All prospective bidders are to note that details about the job are available in the Commission and are obtainable on the presentation of evidence of payment of twenty-five thousand Naira (N25, 000.00) only. Details of the Bank Account into which the sum is to be paid should be obtained from the Accounts Division of the Commission at Oba-Ile.

Qualification for Tendering:

Interested contractors are expected to submit the following documents along with their bids:

  1. Certificate of Incorporation/Registration of company with the Corporate Affairs Commission (C AC).
  2. Evidence of payment of Ondo State development levy for 3 years (2008-2010).
  3. Three years tax clearance certificate (2007-2009).
  4. Evidence of registration with Ondo State Ministry of Works in appropriate category.
  5. Evidence of registration with the Commission in appropriate category.
  6. Company profile detailing technical, and managerial competences as well as evidence of execution of similar projects in Ondo State or elsewhere in Nigeria; and,
  7. Copy of receipt of payment of appropriate tender fee.

Submission of Tenders and Bid Opening

Duly completed documents should be enclosed in wax-sealed envelopes, clearly marked at the top left hand corner with the Lot number/item, and addressed to The Secretary, Ondo State Tenders Board, Cabinet and Special Services Department, Governor’s Office, Akure, Ondo State, to reach him on or before 3.00p.m on Thursday, 16th November 2010. The lot should be completed in duplicate (one original and a copy) and enclosed in a single envelope as indicated.

Contractors who submitted bids in response to earlier advertisement on this job need not submit another.

Bids will be opened at the same location as the submission, on a date and at a time to be announced and in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. The Commission is neither committed to nor bound to accept any bid submitted.
