  1. The Water Corporation of Oyo State on behalf of Oyo State Government hereby calls for tender from interested and qualified contractors for:

“Construction of Booster Station for Felele and Environs in Ibadan, Oyo State”

LOT 1 – Supply and Laying of 200mm Ductile Iron Pipe

2.    Tenderers must be registered with Oyo State Works Registration Board and Water Corporation of Oyo State in the relevant categories.

3.    Complete set of tender documents can be obtained by interested bidders from the Office of the General Manager, Water Corporation of Oyo State upon the payment of non-refundable fee of N40, 000.00.

4.    Submitted bids must be made in English Language and pricing should be in Naira and Kobo.

5.    Any clarification on bids should be addressed to the General Manager, Water Corporation of Oyo State and should reach him on or before 11th November, 2010.

Invitation to Tender for the Implementation of 2010 Capital Projects

Introduction:

Lake Chad Research Institute, Maiduguri (Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) wishes to invite bids from interested companies for the Completion of Road Network/Drainages and Rehabilitation of Staff Quartets at the Research Headquarters, Maiduguri

Project Description/Scope of Work:

The works include but not limited to the following:

A.      Rehabilitation of Staff Quarters: LOTRH1 (2010)

B.      Completion of Internal Road network/drainages: LOT RD 6 (2010)

Interested and competent companies are expected to possess the following documents:

  • Certificate of Incorporation or Business Name
  • Evidence of Registration with LCRI as a Contractor/Supplier
  • Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3)years
  • VAT Registration/VAT Payment/Exemption Certificate
  • Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years
  • Evidence of fulfillment of Pensions contributions
  • An average amount of construction work over the last 5 years in the sum of N50,000.00 to N100,000,000,00.
  • Evidence of requisite member of professionals and technicians to perform the job
  • Evidence of financial capability vides Bank Statement of Account.

Bidding Documents:

The Bidding Documents and details of payment of Tender Fees of N50, 000.00 (Fifty thousand naira only) shall be issued to prospective bidders at the PPC Secretariat, Room 4, 1st Floor. Administrative Block, Lake Chad Research Institute, Maiduguri.

The ‘Technical Bid For Road/Drainage’ Or ‘Rehabilitation of Staff Quarters while the completed financial bid with photocopy of payment receipt shall be enclosed in a 2nd sealed envelope duly Marked Financial Bid For Road/Drainages’ and/or  Financial Bid For Rehabilitation of Staff Quarters’ as the case may be.

The two (2) envelopes containing the Technical and Financial bids respectively shall then be enclosed and sealed in a 3rd single outer envelope backside and delivered to the address below not later than 16th December 2010, (on or before 12:00 noon on Thursday, 9th December 2010). Late submissions shall be rejected.

Bid Opening shall commence by 10am on Friday 10th December, 2010 at the Conference Hall, Block ‘E’, 2nd Floor, LCRI, Maiduguri.
