The Borno State Millennium Development Goals (MDGS) Project Support Conditional Grants Scheme (CGS) Project Support Unit Office, wishes to invite interested and qualified contractors to submit their Applications for Pre-qualification in the execution of projects under the 2011 Conditional grants Scheme.

Project Areas:

 

Water and Sanitation

a. Drilling of motorized boreholes at various locations in the state

 

i.     Motorized boreholes (North and Central Senatorial Districts)

b.    Construction of ventilated improved Pit Latrines (Toilets) -Located across the 27 local government areas of Borno State

c.       Supply of Drugs

This is to notify the general public that Atiba Local Government, Ofa-Meta, Oyo, Oyo State intends to embark on the following projects within the Local Government Area,

2.       Tenders are therefore invited from interested, reputable and Competent Contractors for the said Project.

3.       The conditions required for fulfillment by the interested Tenderers are given hereunder:-

4. a.   Each tender must have registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Abuja in the Appropriate Categories.

b.       Tenderers must have registered with the State Government or Local Government and paid necessary taxes and fees (Evidence of payment must be attached)

c.       Evidence or proof that the Contractor has handled proper project of similar magnitude.

d.       Evidence of payment of Tender fees of N20,000.00 which is non-refundable.

e.       All tenderers are therefore enjoined to liaise with the Director of Works of Atiba Local Government for job description and specification between the hours of 8.00am to 4.00pm, Mondays to Fridays.

 

5.       All tenders which should be submitted in Sealed envelope and marked appropriately, should be addressed to:

1.0     Introduction:

1.1     The University of Agriculture, Makurdi intends to engage the services of reputable contractors for contractors for the procurement of selected goods under her year 2007 2010 (Merged) TETF Intervention in Library Department.

1.2 The University therefore wishes to invite response from competent and reputable contractors for Pre-qualification/Tender for the procurement of goods categorized under the following lots:-

LOT1: Procurement of Library Books

LOT2: Procurement and installation of sound proof Generator: Perkins England (150KVA)

LOT 3:  Procurement and Installation of Furniture and Equipment for Main and 5 No College Libraries

 

Eligibility Criteria

a)     Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) by inclusion of Certificate of incorporation and Article of association.

b)    Last 3 years Tax Clearance Certificates.

c)     Detailed Company profile giving names or list of key professionals, administrative staff with their qualifications and verifiable evidence of registration with professional bodies.

d)    Possession of experience as a Main Contractor in at least three (3) projects of similar nature and complexity with verifiable letters of contract award and certificates of job completion within the last three (3) years.

e)     Verifiable evidence of finance support by a reputable bank including one year bank statement.

f)      Audited Account details for the last 3 years.

g)     Evidence of pension and social security contribution

h)    VAT registration with evidence of remittances.

i)       A statement of Declaration that

 

(i)      The Directors of the company seeking pre-qualification had never been convicted by any court of law.

(ii)     None of the key procurement officers of the University of Agriculture, Makurdi is a former or present Director of the company.

 

3.0      Collection of Tender Document

Tender documents are to be collected from the Director of Physical Planning upon cash payment of a non-refundable tender fee of N20, 000.00 for Lot I and N15, 000.00 for Lots 2 and 3 to the Bursary.

 

4.0      Submission of Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents:

4.1     Interested bidders are to submit pre-qualification and Tenders documents in two different sealed envelopes appropriately marked “Pre-Qualification” and “Tender”’ with the company name indicated at the back of each envelope. Both envelopes should be sealed and placed in third envelope marked with the Lot number at the top right hand corner and addressed to:

4.2     Completed documents should be submitted not later than 12.00 Noon local time 11th March, 2012. These shall be opened same day at 1.00 PM in the Senate Chambers of the University. Interested bidders or their representatives are invited to attend the bid opening function.

 

5.0     Disclaimer and Conclusion

5.1.    This announcement is published for information purposes only and does not constitute an offer by the University to transact with any party, nor does it constitute a commitment or obligation on the part of the University to procure goods.

5.2     Failure to comply with above requirements would automatically result in disqualification, while Bid documents submitted late shall be rejected.

A.      Preamble:

The Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, Adamawa State intends to utilize part of its allocation for TETFUND 2010 (Special) Intervention programs and is hereby inviting bids from the general public for the execution of the following projects:-

B.    Pre-Qualification Requirements:

Prospective Contractors are expected to be reputable and technically competent with verifiable track record of performance on similar projects.

 

 

i)       Pre-qualification (Technical Bid)

All pre-qualification documents shall be subjected to strict technical evaluation. Interested contractors are requested to submit the following pre-qualification documents:-

  1. Evidence of Registration with CAC;
  2. vidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the past 3 years;
  3. Company’s Audited Accounts for the past 3 years;
  4. Evidence of Registration with VAT/TIN;
  5. Evidence of financial capacity and Bank support;
  6. Evidence of registration with PENCOM
  7. Evidence of similar projects executed in the past;
  8. Any other details considered relevant;
  9. Evidence of social services rendered (if any).

 

 

C.     Collection of Bidding Documents:

Interested bidders may collect bidding documents from the office of the Registrar on presentation of receipt(s) of payment of a non-refundable fee(s) of any project of interest paid from the Bursary Department of the Polytechnic and filling the Bid collection register.

 

 

D.      Return & Submission of Completed Bidding Docuemnts

 

i)       Pre-qualification (technical bid)

The pre-qualification (technical bid) documents must be submitted in sealed envelope and clearly marked “Pre-qualification to Tender”  for each project of interest as itemized in the preamble with the name of the firm at the back of the envelope and dropped personally in the Tender box after fitting the register

ii)      Tender (Financial Bid) Documents:

The financial bid documents are to be submitted and dropped along side the technical bid documents in separate sealed envelope marked “Financial Bid” and should be addressed and delivered to the office of the Registrar Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, Adamawa State not later than 16th February, 2012.

 

 

Closing Date/Opening Of Bids: The closing date for the submission of Pre-qualification/Tender documents is Thursday, 16th of February, 2012 by 12.00Noon  The documents would be OPENED 30 minutes later (i.e, 12.30pm) on the closing date in the Council Hall of the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi Technical   bids  would   be   opened   and  evaluated on the spot, only the Financial bids of the companies who are successful in the technical bids shall be opened thereafter.  Bidders or their representatives are advised to be present at the opening of the bids.

 

Note;

i)       During Bid Evaluation, the Polytechnic is not bound to accept the lowest priced bid but the least evaluated financial bid.

ii)      The Polytechnic will not bear any liability for any shortcomings of any soul arising from bidders for   pre-qualification or tender documents submitted.
