Invitation to Tender

Sequel to the Local Government Council invitation to tender for the underlisted projects published on the 3rd of June, 2013 in the Nation Newspaper, please take note that Two weeks Extension has been given for interested registered contractors to tender for these projects. Tender closes on Monday 12th August, 2013 at 12noon.

 

Tenders are hereby invited from reputable contractors currently registered with the Local Government for the execution of the underlisted projects on behalf of the Local Government:-

(1)         Renovation of a block of 6 classrooms at Uwenujie Primary School Irrua.

(2)         Construction of a block of 3 classrooms at Eguare Primary School Ugbegun

(3)         Fencing of Idumebo Primary School Irrua

(4)         Fencing of Uwenujie Primary School Irrua

(5)         Demolition and construction of a 3 classrooms block at Eguare Primary School Irrua.

(6)         Renovation of a block of 4 classrooms at Idumebo Primary School Irrua.

(7)         Construction of a block of 3 classrooms at Ugbalo Primary School Irrua.

(8)         Rural Electrification.

(9)         Building of Health Centres/Renovation

(10)    Construction/installation of water treatment plant

(11)    Construction and rehabilitation of roads.

(12)    Supply of Transformers

(13)    Supply of Official Vehicles; Toyota Brands

(14)    Construction/Fencing of Markets

(15)    Rehabilitation/Construction of motor parks

(16)    Construction of toilets in schools and markets

 

The tenders are to be accompanied with the following:

(i)                Evidence of current business registration with Esan Central Local Government as a contractor in the appropriate category,

(ii)             Tax clearance certificate for the immediate past three years,

(iii)           Current bank guarantee of credit worthiness

(iv)           Evidence of jobs previously executed with the Local Government or other government agencies.

(v)             Evidence of registration with Corporate Affair Commission

(vi)           Evidence of personal income Tax clearance certificate of the Director of the company

(vii)        Evidence   of  payment   of   non-refundable  deposit  of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30.000.00) only to the Local Government Treasury

 

Document showing the drawing and specifications of the above listed projects are available for inspection between the hours of 8.00am to 4.00pm in the office of the Director of Works Land and Surveys.

 

Tenders should be addressed and submitted in a sealed envelop and marked “confidential and the contract code” at the top left hand corner of the envelope and addressed to:

Esan Central Local Government is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender nor is it bound to give reasons for the rejection of any tender.

A.      Invitation to Tender for 2013 Capital Project:

Federal Government Girls’ College, Potiskum, hereby calls for Tender from interested contractors for 2013 Capital Projects as Stated below:

(viii) A comprehensive company profile to include verifiable key professional staff and evidence of financial capabilities, including Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years.

(ix)              Evidence of similar jobs being currently undertaken.

(x)    Evidence of completion of similar jobs in the past.

(xi)              Evidence of registration with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

 

D.      Tender Documents:

 

Tender documents are obtainable in the school on the presentation of a Bank Draft of Non-refundable fee of Twenty thousand (N20,000.00) Naira only per project.

 

E.      Closing of Submissions:

Submission of Tender closes on Friday 13th September, 2013 at 12:00Noon. Tender will be opened on Monday 16th September, 2013 at 11:00am.

Request for Expression of Interest as Consultants for Monitoring and Evaluation of Constituency Projects Nationwide.

 

The Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter Governmental Affairs intends to appoint consultants for the purposes of carrying out Monitoring and Evaluation of all 2013 Constituency Projects Nationwide.

 

Scope of Work

 The consultants are expected to monitor and evaluate all 2013 constituency projects in the six geo-political zones. More details will be provided in the Request for Proposals (RFP).

 

3.       Requirements

 

Interested consultants who wish to participate in the above are required to submit their Firm’s Profile which must include but not limited to the following documents:

(i)    Evidence of incorporation of the company with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)

(ii)     Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificate.

(iii)   Evidence of Current Audited Accounts for last three (3) years

(iv)   VAT Certificate and evidence of remittance to FIRS

(v)    Evidence of Pensions and Social Security Contributions

(vi)   Evidence of the firm’s Corporate Registration with the appropriate Professional body.

(vii)  Details of staff strength including the Curriculum Vitae and profile of key staff with copies of credentials for verification.

(viii) Details of previous consultancy undertaken including scope, copies of award letters and certificates of valuation.

(ix)   Sworn affidavit that the Firm is not bankrupt and sworn affidavit that none of the directors is an ex-convict or bankrupt.

(x)     Evidence of ITF contribution.

(xi)   Evidence of Financial capability and Bank Reference from a Reputable bank.

 

4.       Submission

 

The Expression of Interest documents in one (1) hard copy and (1) soft copy (CD) must be sealed in an envelope clearly marked “Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services” addressed to The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs and be dropped in a Tender Box located in front of Room 3A.391, 3rd Floor, Federal Secretariat Phase 1, Shehu Shagari Way Abuja on or before 12.00noon on 19th August 2013.

 

5.       Opening

 

The Documents will be opened on the same day in the PAC Conference Room on the 1st Floor Federal Secretariat Phase 1 by 12.00 noon in the presence of all bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.

  • All costs incurred as a result of response to this invitation and any subsequent requests for information shall be borne by the responding firm.
  • The Ministry will verify all claims made by applicants and shall disqualify any Firm whose claims are found to be false at any stage of the procurement process.

The Zamfara State Government in collaboration with the Federal Government of Nigeria represented by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the president on Millennium Development Goals wishes to undertake the execution of 2012 MDGs Conditional Grant Scheme Projects.

 

To this end, reputable contractors are hereby invited to apply for Pre-qualification as Potential Contractors that would execute the 2012 MDGs CGS to State and Local Governments approved Projects.

The projects to be undertaken include:

  7. Evidence of availability of relevant equipments and technical capacity
  8. Evidence of performance in other similar/relevant projects in the last three years,
  9. Evidence of VAT registration,
  10. Knowledge of local environment.

 

Contractors who have contracts revoked in the state for whatever reason in the last three years need not to apply.
