The Bank of Industry Limited wishes to refer to its Invitation for Pre-qualification as advertised in the Federal Tenders Journal Volume 8, No. 16 Monday August 6 – Sunday August 19, 2012, Leadership Weekend of Saturday August 11, 2012, Guardian Newspaper of Monday August 13, 2012 and Thisday Newspaper of Tuesday August 14, 2012.

 

 

1.       The Bank wishes to inform all interested companies that the requirement of Evidence or current registration with the Federal Ministry of Works will no longer be needed as the registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission will suffice.

 

2.       The Bank wishes to inform all interested companies that the date for the submission of pre-qualification application and other supporting documents commence August 11, 2012 and ends not later than 5:00pm October 8, 2012.

 

All applications will be opened on October l0, 2012 by 8:00am at Bank of Industry Corporate Office Complex, Abuja.

 

3.       Interested companies should please note that the outcome of our evaluation of their submissions, whether successful or otherwise, will be appropriately communicated.

Invitation for Expression of Interest (EoI) for the Design and Production of Contract Documents for Proposed Head Office Complex

 

The Federal Capital Territory Administration has allocated Funds to the Satellite Towns Development Agency in the year 2012 appropriation for the Construction of its Corporate Headquarters. The office which is to be located at Kuje Area Council in the FCT would be tailored to meet the operational demand for the Agency’s Headquarters.

 

2.       Accordingly, the Agency is inviting interested Professional Firms (Consortium) to submit Expression of Interest (Eol) for the Design and Production of Contract Documents.

 

3.       Participation is open to all fully registered and current Professional Firms whose Principals must be Nigerians. The Principals must have current Practice License. A Nigerian Architectural Firm shall be the Lead Consultant in association with other firms.

 

A.      Brief Scope of Service

The professional services involved amongst others:

  1. Architectural Design;
  2. Structural Engineering Design;
  3. Mechanical Engineering Design;
  4. Electrical Engineering Design;
  5. Bill of Quantities; and
  6. General and Particular Specifications.

 

The proposed Head Office Complex is a four (4) floors structure covering an average floor area of 5 735m2 for Offices, Conference Hall, Library and Restaurant.

 

B.    Eligibility Requirements

i.        Evidence of Registration of the firm with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)

ii.       Tax Clearance Certificate for the last 3 years expiring December, 2012.

iii.      Evidence of compliance with the Provision of Pension Reform Act 2004 which stipulate Registration and up to date Remittance of employee Pension Fund contributions in line with Part IV, section 16 subsection 6d of the Public Procurement Act 2007.

iv.      Evidence of Firm’s Contributions to Industrial Training Fund (1TF);

v.       Copies of Professional Bodies and related Regulatory Agency Registration Certificates for Individual or Firms;

vi.      Copies of Registration issued by the Professional Bodies for Graduate and Associate Membership.

 

C       Additional Requirements:

  1. Evidence of being financially up to date with the Professional Bodies and Regulatory Agency for any of the membership categories;
  2. Copies of Instruments binding Group/Team submission such as a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU);
  3. Corporate Profile of the firm including CVs of key personnel, registered address, functional contract e-mail address and GSM phone number(s);
  4. Evidence of Registration of Key Personnel with Professional Bodies;
  5. Evidence of up to date Annual returns with CAC (2011);
  6. Evidences of similar jobs successfully executed or being executed;
  7. Sworn affidavit in line with the provision of Part IV, Section 16, subsection 6(e & f) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007;
  8. xiv. Evidences of Technology capacity / equipment / relevant software for the project;
  9. Evidences of compliance with local content requirements.

 

D     Submission and Opening Expression of Interest

The Documents for Expression of Interest for Design and Production of Contract Documents are to be submitted in Three (3) copies (One Original two photocopies) each should be sealed and labeled as Expression of Interest for Design and Production of Contract Documents for the Proposed Head Office Complex. All pages to be duly endorsed by representative of the firm. The documents are to be dropped in the Tender Box in Room 043

(Former Public Building Block), FCTA Tenders Board Secretariat, Area 11, Garki – Abuja, not later than 10:00am 29th October, 2012. The representatives of the Finns and members of the public who choose to attend are invited to witness the opening of the on the same day by 12:00 noon at FCT Tenders Board Annex, Room G9 Akinola Aguda Hall, FCT Archives & History Bureau, Behind AGIS Building, Peace Drive, Area 11, Garki, Abuja.

 

Notes:

  1. Due Diligence could be carried out on the companies to verify claims included in the submissions;
  2. Interested members of the Public especially Civil Right Organization are invited to attend the opening exercise. They are expected to adhered to the Code of Conduct for Public Procurement Observers stipulated by the Bureau of Public Procurement
  3. Response to this Invitation shall not obligate FCTA /STDA to consider any responding company for the award of any contract. All cost incurred shall be borne by the responding company;
  4. The advert should not be construed as a commitment on the part of the FCTA/STDA nor shall it entitle responding companies to seek any indemnity from FCTA/STDA by virtue of such company having responded to this advert.

This is to inform members of the public particularly contractors that are interested in applying for Pre-qualification for 2012 Capital Projects in the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, that invitation for applications is opened to all Interested contractors and NOT limited to contractors that are registered with the College.

 

Furthermore, the closing time and date for the submission of Pre-qualification   documents is now 12.00p.m on Friday 16th November, 2012. The opening of Pre-qualification documents will be done the same day at l.00p.m in the presence of companies’ representatives in the College Registry Conference Room.

 

Please note that all other information and guidelines for submission of Pre-qualification documents remain unchanged as earlier advertised.

N45, 000, 000. 000 and N31, 385, 900, 000, respectively would be issued by Dutch auction on Thursday, October 25, 2012.

 

All Money Market Dealers should submit bids through the CBN TEMENOS Internet Banking between 9.00am and 11.00am on Wednesday, October 24th, 201 2.

 

Each bid must be in multiple of N1, 000 subject to a minimum of N10, 000. Authorized Money Market Dealers are allowed to submit multiple bids. A bid may be for authorized Money Market Dealers own account, Non-Money Market Dealers or interested members of the public. The result of the auction would be announced by 11.30am on Wednesday, October 24, 2012. The Bank reserves the right to any bid.

The Sokoto State Ministry “of Education hereby invites interested reputable companies or contractors with requisite experience and competence to submit technical and financial bids in respect of the under-listed project lots to be executed within the premises of Sokoto Teachers College, Sokoto.

 

 

Project Description

 

Lot 1:          Repairs and renovation of 8 No. blocks of classrooms, laboratories, library and Administrative block;

 

Lot 2:          Repairs and renovation of 2 No. Staff Mosques, Principal’s House and 42 No. Teachers’ Houses;

 

Lot 3:          Conversion of 6 No. Blocks of Hostels into 4 Classrooms each and one other into Corpers’ Lodge;

 

Lot 4:          Construction of 9 No. Blocks of One-Storey student hostels with detached toilets/laundry, common room and mosque;

 

Lot5:           Construction of a library, clinic, kitchen/dining hall and Administrative Block;

 

Lot 6:          Construction of a Corpers1 lodge, 8 No. teachers’ houses and a block of 2 classrooms;

 

Lot 7:          Construction of internal road network and comprehensive sporting facility;

 

Lot 8:          Construction of 6 compartments bath/toilet, 4 compartments VIP latrines, 2 No. underground water reservoirs and water reticulation;

 

Lot 9:          Demolishing of some structures, clearance of the debris, construction of drainages/culverts, landscaping around the Admin/Auditorium blocks, conversion of the school garden into a recreational spot and construction of a new school garden;

 

Lot 10.        Supply of 100 KVA Standby Generators and 200 KVA Transformer;

 

Lot 11.        Supply of assorted items of furniture for Auditorium, Administration, Kitchen/dining hall, hostels and classrooms.

 

General Requirement for Bidding

All bidders are expected to provide the following:

1.       Evidence of incorporation from the Corporate Affairs Commission;

2.       Tax clearance for the past three years (2010, 2011 and 2012);

3.       Evidence of VAT Registration and remittance;

4.       Evidence of previous experience in relevant jobs with copies of Awards and Completion Certificate(s);

5.       Evidence of financial capacity and or Banking Support;

6.       Payment of Non Refundable Tender Fees of N20, 000 per Lot.

 

Submission of Bids documents:

The BIDS Documents are to be submitted to the undersigned in sealed and signed envelopes quoting LOT(s) and marked STC, Sokoto Tender Bid to reach him not later than 30th October, 2012.
