The National Council for Arts and Culture, Abuja is desirous of carrying out the under listed projects.  The Council is therefore, inviting competent and interested companies/contractors to submit tenders for these national programmes as follows:-

 

 

2. LOT 1: 6th African Arts And Crafts (AFAC) Expo 2013.

 

Scope:

  • Arrange Venue(s), Provision of Exhibition space and Pavilions
  • Publicity, Protocol and Reception of Guests and Participants, Documentation and Post Production
  • Coordinate Exhibitions and the Investment Forum

 

 

LOT 2: 27th National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFEST 2013).

 

  • Coordinators for the NAFEST Events and the Colloquium
  • Provision of Facilities and Venues including Resource Persons
  • Publicity, Production of Souvenirs and Awards, Documentation and Post Production, etc,

 

3.       Tender Instructions

3.1     Interested Bidders are to submit Technical bid documents at NCAC Office, Plot 1370 Ukpo Close, Off Oro Ago Crescent Off Muhammad Buhari Way, (by Old CBN) Garki II District, Abuja on or before 8th April 2013. Bids close by 12 noon on the 6th May, 2013 and opening of bids shall be on 7th May, 2013 by 2pm.

 

3.2     Bidders are also to indicate the lot number on the left hand corner of each envelope; and addressed to:

Executive Director/CEO, National Council for Arts and Culture, Plot 1370 Ukpo Close, Garki II District, Abuja. Any envelope not appropriately labelled by specifying the lot will be rejected.

 

Only ore-qualified Bidders are to obtain Tender documents at a non-refundable fee of N15, 000.00 for each lot.

 

3.3     All Technical Bids should contain the following: –

  • Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2010 – 2012)
  • Evidence of having fulfilled all obligations in relation to pension and Social Security contributions in accordance with the provision of the Pension Act 2007 and evidence of clearance from Industrial Training Fund (ITF).
  • Evidence of VAT Registration, Remittance and Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  • Company Profile including key Staff and strength
  • Details of equipment arid plants/technology capability
  • Name, Address of Bankers and letter of Reference from Bank(s)
  • Verifiable details of similar contracts previously executed in the last five (5) years including letters of Award Agreement and Completion Certificate(s) where applicable
  • Evidence of financial capabilities and banking support
  • Company Audited Account for the last three (3) years (2010 – 2012)
  • Evidence of execution of similar jobs by the Contractor.

  1. Technical Pre-Qualification Requirements

1.       Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)

3.       Evidence of Compliance with National Pension Commission (PENCOM) Requirements on Contribution

4.       Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance

5.       Evidence of Payment of Training Contributions to industrial Training Fund (ITF)

6.       Verifiable documentary evidences of similar jobs that had been successfully executed with in the last three (3) years

7.       Evidence of ownership or lease of workshop and/or equipment

8.       Audited Accounts for the last three (3) successive years prepared (and stamped) by a Chartered Accounting firm

9.       Company Profile and Technical Qualification of key personnel.

10.     Current Bank Reference and statement of account of the company for the last 12 months.

11.     Firms applying to be pre-qualified should accompany their submission with a disclosure as to whether any officer of TETFund is a former or present Director, Share holder or has any pecuniary interest in the company.

12.     Evidence of Registration of the Firm with Relevant Professional Bodies, where applicable.

 

Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents:

The Pre-qualification documents shall be submitted in sealed envelope and clearly labeled at the top left hand corner “Pre-qualification documents for (insert (works), (Goods) or (Services) )” and quoting the appropriate item number as applicable and addressed to:

Closing Date and Opening of Bids:

The closing date for submission of pre-qualification documents is Wednesday, 8th May 2013 by 4:00pm: The documents received shall be opened on Thursday 9th May 2013 at 10.00am at the Auditorium Hall of the Nigeria National Merit House, Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja.

 

All Bidder and /or their Representative, Relevant Professional Bodies and NGO are invited to witness the Public Opening of Bids.

 

Only pre-qualified Bidders would be invited to submit financial bids in due course.

 

 

Please Note that:

1.       Interested companies/ contractors wishing to bid for more than one item must submit separate pre-qualification for reach item.

2.       TETFund will not enter into correspondence with any unsuccessful bidder.

3.       Any bidder that submits fake documents shall be out rightly disqualified and may be reported to relevant authority

4.       The Fund reserves the right to cancel the procurement proceedings in the public interest without incurring any liability to the bidders.

The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) wishes to invite reputable companies with good track record of performance and experience to bid for the replacement of existing and obsolete acoustic ceiling with laminated ceiling boards at the Corporation’s Head Office, Abuja. The project is expected to enhance the capital value of the building, improve the aesthetic value and enhance work environment of the Building.

 

 

Scope of Work

The proposed replacement of existing and obsolete ceiling with laminated ceiling board at the Head office includes:

  • Removal of existing acoustic ceiling boards/railings and cart away from site.
  • Provision of complete railings and other accessories for the laminated ceiling boards.
  • Rewiring/Provision of modular light fittings and
  • Installation of laminated suspended ceiling boards.

 

 

Tender Documents

Interested companies should obtain the tender document from the Administration Department, 2nd Floor, NDIC Headquarters, Plot 447/448 Constitution Avenue, Central Business District, Abuja upon payment of the tender fee of N10,000.00 in Bank Draft made payable to the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, Abuja.

 

 

Conditions for Eligibility

All bids must be accompanied with the following:

  • Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria.
  • The current 3 years Tax Clearance Certificate of the Company (2009 – 2011).
  • The Company’s audited accounts for the last three years (2009 – 2011).
  • Evidence of Financial capacity or bank support to undertake the project.
  • Evidence of having successfully carried out similar works within the past three years.
  • Company profile indicating qualification and experience of key staff for the project.
  • Proof of Company’s understanding of the job.
  • Evidence of VAT registration and remittance to relevant tax authority.
  • Evidence of compliance with Pension and ITF Acts; including proof of remittance.
  • Implementation plan and work methodology.
  • Sworn affidavit to indicate that, the company is not in receivership and none of its Directors was ever convicted of fraudulent activity.
