  1. This invitation for Bid follows the General Procurement Notice for the Project that appears in the DG market of June 19, 2009 and the This Day Newspaper of July 3, 2009.
  2. The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a Credit from the International Development Association (World Bank) in various currencies to finance the cost of the Third National Fadama Development Project (NFDP). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this Credit will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Procurement of Vehicles/Motorcycles.

  1. The Borno State Fadama Coordination Office now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for office Equipment to be procured.
  2. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines. Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Sources Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
  3.   5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00). The method of payment will be in cash. The bidding Decrements will be obtained on payment.
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12 Noon May. 24, 2013. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Concern Universal is a UK based International Development and Humanitarian Organization with nine country programmes in Africa, Asia and Latin America, Including four in West Africa; The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea and Nigeria. Concern Universal supports practical actions that change the lives of rural and vulnerable People.

Concern universal Nigeria programme has signed a contract with GSF/UNOPS as an Executing Agency [EA] for the implementation of the Rural Sanitation and Hygiene promotion in Nigeria (RUSHPIN) project in 6 LGAs (3 in each) of Benue and cross River State, The LAGs involved are: logo, Agatu, Gwer East in Benue State and Obanliku, Abi, Bekwara in cross River State.

By this advert, Concern Universe (as the EA) invites suitably qualified consulting firms, registered in Nigeria (with CAC or State) or academic institutions to send in proposals to conduct a baseline survey for the programme.

2.0    General Information

i.        The closing date for submission of the pre-qualification documents shall be          Thursday, 13th June, 2013 at 3.00 p.m.

ii.       The pre-qualification documents submitted on or before the closing date and time shall be opened at Commission premises on Friday, 14th June, 2013 at 11.00 a.m.

iii.      Only firms that are successful from the pre-qualification exercise will be contacted and invited for financial bidding exercises.
