Invitation for Pre-Qualification as Consultants for the Redevelopment and Reconstruction of Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort

1) Introduction

Ekiti State Government is planning to redevelop and reconstruct her tourist centre, the Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort, Ikogosi-Ekiti to bring the facilities to international standards. To achieve the objective, the government intends to carry out Condition Survey/Assets Evaluation of the tourist centre. Interested suitably qualified and experienced Consultancy firms are hereby invited to submit Applications for Pre-Qualification for the job.

2) Pre-Qualification Requirements

Prospective Consultancy firms are required to submit the following documents:-

1. Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
2. Evidence of Registration with the Ekiti State Ministry of Works in relevant categories;
3. Evidence of Payment of Ekiti State Development Levy for the past three consecutive years;
4. Evidence of Payment for Registration of Business Premises in Ekiti State;
5. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three years (2008, 2009 & 2010);
6. Evidence of VAT Registration;
7. Evidence of Company’s Audited Accounts for three (3) years and its annual turnover;
8. Evidence of similar projects successfully executed with their locations (copies of letters of award and certificate of completion attached);
9. Particulars of Directors, Shareholders and Principal Officers of the company;
10. Technical Qualifications and experience of key personnel;
11. List of Equipment and modem tools, techniques and technology available for deployment on assignments;
12. Evidence of Banking support;
13. Corporate Profile of the company;

Verification of Claims

Note that the Ekiti State Government reserves the right to verify claims made in the pre-qualification documents submitted by interested Consultants.

Submission of Contract Documents:

Consultants are expected to apply  project on payment of a non-refundable processing fee of N25, 000.00 twenty Five Thousand Naira only) made payable to the EKITI STATE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT BOARD. Pre-Qualification document should be neatly packaged in a sealed envelope marked on the top right hand corner: “Pre-Qualification as Consultants   for …………………., and drop in the General Manager’s Office, Ekiti

State Tourism Development/Board, Phase I, New Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti

State not later than 23^rd May, 2011.

All received Applications for Pre-Qualification shall be opened immediately after the close of submission at 12.00 noon at the General Manager’s Office, Ekiti State Tourism Development/Board, Phase I, New Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Interested firms and organizations may wish to witness the opening.

Please Note:

1. Late Submission will not be entertained.
2. Ekiti State Government is not legally bound to enter into any contractual agreement or negotiations with any party or parties based on this advertisement.
3. Only successful Pre-qualified Consultants will be required to proceed to the main tenders,
4. This invitation for Pre-qualification is NOT an invitation to tender for the project,
5. Successful   Pre-qualified Consultants   will   be   listed   in   the  Tourism Development Vendors Register for tendering in other future jobs.
