Expression of Interest/Invitation to Pre-qualify as Consultancy/Contractors for the Redevelopment of Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort
1) Introduction
Ekiti State Government is planning to redeveloped and reconstruct her tourist centre, the Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort, Ikogosi-Ekiti to bring the facilities there to international standards. Invitations are hereby invited from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors/Consultancy firms or Consortium of firms to submit Expression of Interest/Applications for pre- qualification to provide professional services in the following areas: –
- Design and Building Construction;
- Infrastructure Surveys;
- Corporate Designs, Brand Strategy, Marketing and communication Services;
- Interior Designs & Procurement Agency;
- Business Intelligence Website Development;
- External Areas Transformation – Landscaping and Beautification;
- Development Advisory Services (for Resort Destination)
- Private Security Guards Services.
2) Criteria for Evaluation of Pre-Qualification Document
Prospective firms shall be required to submit the following documents along with their applications: –
- Evidence of Registration of company or business name with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
- Particulars of Directors, Shareholders and Principal Officers of the company;
- Curriculum Vitae of Management and Key Professional staff, including photocopies of their academic certificates and evidence of registration with relevant professional bodies.
- Evidence of Registration with the Ekiti State Ministry of Works in relevant categories
- List and evidences of similar projects/assignments executed successfully in the past five years, including letter of engagement and certificate of completion.
- List of Equipment and modem tools techniques and technology available for deployment on assignments;
- Evidence of Banking support;
- Photocopy of Tax Clearance Certificate covering past three years (2008, 2009 & 2010);
- Evidence of Payment of Ekiti State Development Levy for the past three consecutive years;
- Corporate Profile of the company;
- Evidence of Payment for Registration of Business Premises in Ekki State;
- Company’s 3-Year Financial Summary and 3-Year Audited Accounts;
- Evidence of VAT Registration;
3) Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents:
Interested Consultants are expected to pay a non- refundable processing fee of N25.000.00 (Twenty Five Thousand Naira Only) for Consultants and N50, 000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) for Contractors category to Tourism Development Board and submit their Pre-qualification documents in sealed envelope clearly marked on the top right hand corner as Pre-Qualification as…………..Contractors/Consultants for Ikogosi Warm Spring, and drop them in the General Manager’s Office, Ekiti State Tourism Development/Board, Phase 1, New Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti. All Applications for pre-qualification MUST be submitted not later than 23rd May, 2011
4) Applications for Pre-Qualification shall be opened immediately after the close of submission at 12.00 noon at the General Manager’s Office, Ekiti State Tourism Development/Board, New Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Interested firms and business organizations may wish to witness the opening.
5) Verification of Information/Data Supplied
Post Qualification process may involve verification of information supplied by Contractor firms in t their application and physical demonstration of special skills, trade, tools or equipment/machinery listed in their submissions. Consultancy firms may also be requested to provide additional information or give further clarifications on submissions to the Ekiti State Tourism Development/Board. Misrepresentation of facts, may form the basis for disqualification.
6) All applicants are requested to be specific about their areas of interest and to note that late Submission will not be entertained. Ekiti State Government is not legally bound to enter into any contractual agreement or negotiations with any party or parties based on this advertisement.
7) Successful Pre-qualified Firms in their respective categories will be listed in the Tourism Development Vendors Register for tendering in other future jobs
