Expression of Interest /Pre-Qualification for Tender

1) Introduction

Tenders are hereby invited from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors/Firm to carry out the under-listed jobs for the Ekiti State Tourism Development Board –

1. Rehabilitation of Fajuyi Memorial Park, Ado-Ekiti;
2. Partitioning of New Office Complex for Tourism Development Board;
3. Supply of Furniture and Office Fittings;
4. Supply of Electrical and Electronic Equipment;
5. Supply and Installation of ICT Equipment;
6. Design fabrication and installation of Outdoor Promotional Structures

2) Pre-Qualification Documents

Prospective Contractors/Firms shall be required to submit the following documents along with their applications: –

1. Evidence of Registration of company or business name with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
2. Particulars of Directors, Shareholders and Principal Officers of the company
3. Curriculum Vitae of Management and Key Professional staff, including photocopies of their academic certificates and evidence of registration with relevant professional bodies,
4. Evidence of Registration with the Ekiti State Ministry of Works in relevant categories;
5. List and evidences of similar projects/assignments executed successfully in the past five years, including letter of engagement and certificate of completion;
6. List of Equipment and modern tools, techniques and technology available for deployment on assignments;
7. Evidence of Banking support;
8. Photocopy of Tax Clearance Certificate covering past three years (2008, 2009 & 2010);
9. Evidence of Payment of Ekiti State Development Levy for the past three consecutive years;
10. Corporate Profile of the company;
11. Evidence of Payment for Registration of Business Premises in Ekiti State;
12. Company’s 3-Year Financial Summary and 3-Year Audited Accounts;
13. Evidence of VAT Registration;

3) Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents:

Interested Contractors/Firms are expected to pay a non-refundable processing fee of N25.000.00 (Twenty Five Thousand Naira Only) and submit their Pre-qualification documents in an envelope clearly marked on the top right hand corner-Pre- Qualification for (State Project)…………….”, and drop them in the

General Manager’s Office, Ekiti State Tourism Development/Board, Phase I, New Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti not later than 23^rd May, 2011.

4)    Applications for Pre-Qualification shall be opened immediately after the close of submission at 1.00pm at the General Manager’s Office, Ekiti State Tourism Development Board, New Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Interested firms and business organizations may wish to witness the opening.

5)    Verification Of Information/Data Supplied

Note that the Ekiti State Tourism Development Board reserves the right to verify claims made in the pre-qualification documents submitted by interested Contractors/Firms.

6)    All applicants are requested to be specific about their areas of interest and to note that Late Submission will not be entertained. Only pre-qualified Companies/Firms will be listed in Tourism Development Vendors Register and may be invited to bid for future jobs.
