  1. This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business, issue no, 637 and Daily Trust Newspaper of Nigeria of June, 3rd 2009,
  1. The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association IDA (Additional Financing) towards the cost of Health System Development Project II, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit payment under the contract for the, Procurement of Generators/Sedan Cars/4WD Vehicles and 18 Seater Buses.
  1. Zamfara State Health systems Project II now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supplies of the following:

Bidders may bid for any one or more lots and discounts offered for the award of combined lots will be considered in the bid evaluation.

  • Evidence of Registration with Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC)
  • Audited Account for the last Three years.
  • Details of Company’s Profile
  • Evidence of previous experience (Past performances) in similar supplies
  • Any other relevant information to the advantage for the company

  1. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding Procedures (NCB) as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines
  1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Zamfara State Health System Development Project II, Kasuwar Daji by Kaura Namoda Road, Labin Area Tudun Wada Gusau and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 10:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 10:00am to 12:00 noon Fridays, except public holidays.
  1. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at the payment of a non refundable fee of N10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only) or $75 (75 US Dollars) Only per packages. The method of payment will be cash or draft cheque payable to Project Manager Zamfara Health System Development Project

  1. All Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00am November, 17th, 2010, Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 3% (Three Percent) minimum of the total bid price.   1. Interested companies are to collect Tender documents from the college accounts Department after payment of a non-refundable sum of Twenty Thousand naira only (N20, 000.00) per Lot in bank draft addressed to ‘Federal Science and Technical College, Jalingo’.
  2. Tender document collection commences at 8:00am on Monday, 25th October, 2010 and close at 4:00pm on Monday, 15th November, 2010.
  3. Collection/Submission of Tender documents shall be done from 8:00am to 4:00pm on all working days within specified period.

Submission of Bids:

  1. Each Bid documents should be sealed and labeled ‘Technical’ and ‘Financial’ Bids separately as appropriate.
  2. Both Technical and Financial Bids should be submitted at the College ICT Center between 8:00am to 4:00pm on every working day.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) hereby invites expression of interest from reputable and competent companies for pre-qualification of contract to carry out routine cleaning services, collection and evacuation of solid wastes, fumigation and pest control services at the nation’s airports. All those who have applied before may wish to re-apply.

Objective of the Contract

  1. To ensure proper environmental management at the airports.
  2. To achieve an effective environmental management system for the airports.
  3. To ensure clean airport environment.
  4. To employ safe and professional means of cleaning the airport environment
  5. To promote health, safety and environmental (HSE) standards.

Scope of Work

  1. A. Cleaning Services

  • Cleaning of Terminal Building – Offices, toilets, floor, walls, glass windows and doors, arrival and departure halls, luggage sections, VIP lounges, etc
  • Cleaning of Landside- car parks, access roads and drainages within the airports
  • Cleaning of Staff Quarters and its environs, road network and staff clinic
  • Cleaning of Airside – cleaning, degreasing and derubberization of Apron, Taxi way and Runway.
  • Fumigation and pest control

  1. B. Waste Collection and Evacuation
  • Provision of waste collection bins (Dinos and Mammoth)
  • Daily evacuation of wastes
  • Ensuring clean waste collections points
  • Disinfection of waste collection points

Pre-Qualification Conditions

The following conditions must be strictly compiled within the expression of interest

  • Certificate of incorporation.
  • Company’s audited accounts for (3) three years (2007, 2008, 2009)
  • Evidence of Tax clearance certificate for (3) three years (2007, 2008, 2009)
  • VAT registration and evidence of remittances
  • Evidence of financial capability and banking support
  • Experiences/Technical Qualification & Experiences of Key personnel
  • Similar projects executed and evidence of knowledge of aviation industry
  • Equipment, technology and admin office capacity.
