Description of Duties

  1. The Consultants will be fully involved in the development of a new plant from the feasibility study stage to the commissioning of the plant in co-operation with the project implementation unit of the company.
  2. The Consultants will package the detailed constructions and fabrication profiles of various units including the laboratory facilities and equipment to be used for products quality control and test methods.
  3. The Consultants will be familiar with relevant DPR and Standard Organization specifications.

Required Qualifications

  1. Evidence of similar developments, constructions and fabrications of existing lubricating oil blending plants within Lagos and its environs, with certificates of valuations, payments and completions with layout and progress photographs.
  2. Must be currently working in an oil blending plant.
  3. Must have good knowledge of DPR and S.O.N. procedure and conditions to be fulfilled for manufacture of lube oil.
  4. A consultant will be selected based on the wide dept of scope technical knowledge in the energy sector.

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) is a Federal Government Agency established under the enabling Decree 9 of 1977 bestowed with the function of coordinating all aspects of Technical Vocational Education falling outside the Universities. The Education Trust Funds (ETF) under its Selected Intervention Programme in the TVE sector intends to intervene in some Selected Technical Colleges in Nigeria in order to address some of the deplorable state in the colleges, Part of the intervention involves the procurement of relevant equipment for the various areas of specialization in the institutions. 3.0     Pre-Qualification Requirements:

To be considered for pre-qualification, interested, competent and reliable suppliers are required to provide verifiable evidence including but not limited to the following documents:

3.1     Photocopy of Current Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last 3 (Three) Years (2007, 2008 and 2009);

3.2     Photocopy of Certificate of Incorporation Business Registration in Nigeria with Corporate Affairs Commission;

3.3     Photocopy of Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration Certificate and evidence of VAT remittance;

3.4     Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years. (2007, 2008 and 2009), duly signed and stamped;

3. 5    Comprehensive Company Profile including details of the Management and Professional staff and copy of Company Brochure with convincing evidence of competence to undertake the relevant supplies:

3.6     Evidence of adequate relevant equipment and infrastructure to handle the job:

3.7     Evidence of legal capacity to enter into contract i.e. the company is not in receivership;

3.8     Evidence of technical, operational and managerial capabilities;

3 9     Evidence of Financial capabilities to execute the supplies. This should include certified Bank statement from refutable Bank. (Bank reference letter only is not acceptable);

3.10   Verifiable evidence of previous experience i.e. having successfully carried     out similar supplies in the last five (5) years with their costs, locations, name and telephone number of the client and copies of award letter and Completion certificates

3.11   Manufacturing Companies must submit evidence of relevant Manufacturing capability and facilities and SON or ISO Certificates;

3.12   Test Certificate issued by well-known international standard test Laboratory for Manufacturers of Equipment and a Sample of Test Report of Manufactured Equipment.

3.13     Evidence of Compliance with Federal Government Pension Reform Act;

3.14   A Sworn Affidavit affirming that none of the Directors of the Company was ever convicted in a Court of Law;

3.15   Any other relevant document that will place the Company on a comparative advantage

4.0     Note:

4.1     The Pre-qualification documents must be arranged in the order listed above. Submissions could be disregarded for failure to comply with this instruction.

4.2     Any Company that submits fake documents shall be disqualified outright and may be reported to the appropriate authority

4.3     Bidders should accompany every bid with a disclosure whether any officer of National Board for Technical Education is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the Company.

5.0     Closing Date:

Companies are to submit two (2) copies of the Pre-qualification documents in sealed envelope, boldly marked “Pre-Qualification Colleges” and the Item number. This must be delivered by hand or registered mail to reach the undersigned on or before 12.00 noon on Monday 13th December 2010

Society for Family Health was founded in 1985 and is a foremost Non-Governmental Organization(NGO) that supports Nigerian governments’ public health interventions in three key areas: HIV/AIDS prevention, family planning and maternal & child health (malaria and diarrhoea control). The Society for Family Health invites bids from prospective qualified organizations that will provide suitable storage space out of twenty one (21) locations for finished pharmaceutical and health products.

Interested organizations are requested to send proposals and bids for any or all the advertised locations.

Minimum Storage Space Specification

  1. Easily accessible warehouse location.
  2. A fifty square meters (50m_) area demarcated and dedicated for pharmaceutical and health products.
  3. Clean and dry storage space maintained with ability to regulate temperature within the limits for pharmaceutical products.
  4. Pallet and rack systems with units in state of cleanliness and repair.
  5. Existing Safe pest control system with zero risk of contamination of materials and pharmaceutical products.
  6. Availability of stock movement record system.
  7. Evidence of invoicing, cash collection and remittance systems in place.
