PRE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Interested, reputable and financially – capable contractors are to submit their applications for pre-qualification along with the following

(i) Evidence of Registration of the company with the Corporate Affairs Commission

(ii) Evidence of Registration with the Lagos State Tenders Board

(iii) Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years of the company and two Directors

(iv) Names and resumes of company’s technical personnel

(v) Evidence of similar jobs completed

(vi) Evidence of financial capability and banking support

(vii) Evidence of VAT Registration

(viii) Production of Tax Identification Number (TIN)

(ix) Any additional information that may enhance the pre-qualification of the company.

N.B: Pre-qualified Bidders will be contacted to collect the Tender Documents at a non – refundable fee of N25, 000,00 (Twenty Five Thousand Naira) only. However, payment in favour of the Lagos State Government must be made through Bank Draft or cash to WEMA BANK PLC, Maryland Branch (Account No: 0921000102715; Branch Code – 069, Revenue Code – 4020023, Ministry Code- 4620000.

1.0 Pre Qualification Criteria

Only contractors that have proven capability, relevant experience (including management of (Games and event centre), good track record and evidence of financial capability will be considered for pre-qualification to tender
Company profile and organizational structure, including names, resumes, and telephone numbers of key personnel
Verifiable list of previous similar works successfully carried out within the last three years with names of clients, evidence of award and practical completion.
Evidence of incorporation of company by the Corporate Affairs Commission (C’AC)

3.0 Opening of Pre-Qualification Bidders

Pre-qualified companies would be notified formally by Thursday 7^th July, 2011.

5.0 Collection of Tender

Pre-qualified companies should note that they will be required to pay-a non-refundable fee of fifty thousand naira (N50.00.00) for tender documents and processing offender fee.

LOT 1: COE/AFAHA NSIT/ETF/SIP/2010/01 – Construction of School of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Building.

3. Pre-Qualification Requirements:

Evidence of Incorporation by Corporate Affairs Commission,
Company profile and Organizational Structure including names and resume of key personnel,
Tax clearance for the last three years.
Evidence of technical competence in handling the projects in question (e.g. adequate number of equipment and technical staff),
Verifiable list of previous projects/works executed in the recent past and evidence of satisfactory completion,
Evidence of financial strength, credit worthiness and solvency,
Evidence of compliance with the provision of Pension Reform Act 2004.
Evidence of Payment of Development levy and registration of premises.
Letter from the contractor authorizing the college of Education, Afaha Nsit, to verify all submissions.

Pre-qualification documents will be opened that same day, Wednesday, 29^th of July 2011 at 1.00 pm. Please not that all bidders will be required to pay a non-refundable pre-qualification fee of N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) only at the Bursary Department of the college.

1.0 Preamble

The Nigeria French Language Village, Ajara- Sadagry, an inter-University Center for French Studies hereby invites interested, reputable, experienced and highly capable contractors to express their interest for the proposed 2011 capital projects below:

(i) Purchase of Teaching and Research Equipment – (Ref. No – “PTRE”)

vi) Provision of details of staffing and level of expertise of key personnel of company

vii) List of Equipment and Technology capacity

viii) Provision of verifiable list of previous/similar works successfully executed within the specified contractual time frame in the past with the location the clients and Architect.

ix). Evidence of financial capabilities and Bank support

3.0 General Information

Interested contractors must collect pre-qualification screening forms from the Physical Planning Unit. Nigeria French language Village Ajara Badagry, upon payment of non-refundable fee of N10,000.00 (Ten-thousand naira only) per project at the cash office in the Bursary Department of the Nigeria French language Village.

4.0 Submissions

All submissions for each of the projects shall be in sealed envelopes and identified with their reference numbers at the top left hand corner and marked “confidential notice of of intention to pre-qualify as contractor” and forwarded to Director General, Nigeria French Language Village, Ajara-Badagry, to reach him on or before Monday 27^th June, 2011.

Please note that all expenses incurred in preparing pre-qualification response shall be borne by the applicant contractor.
