Invitation for Pre-Qualification to Tender for Year 2010 Education Trust Fund (ETF) Special Intervention Projects (SIP)

1.   Preamble:

Applications are hereby invited from reputable and interested contractors with relevant experience and good track records to express their interest in bidding for the following jobs.

 

2.   Job Profile

LOT 1:        COE/AFAHA NSIT/ETF/SIP/2010/01 – Construction of School of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Building.

LOT 2:        COE/AFAHA NSIT/SIP/2010/02 – Construction of School of Primary Education (PED) Building

LOT 3:        COE/AFAHA NSU/SIP/2010/03 – Construction of School of Junior Secondary Education (JSE) Building

LOT 4:        COE/AFAHA NSIT/SIP/2010/04 – Construction of 6-

Central Library and Resource Centre Building

LOT 5:        COE/AFAHA NSU/SIP/2010/05 – Construction of School of Lecture Theatre.

3.   Pre-Qualification Requirements:

  1. Evidence of Incorporation by Corporate Affairs Commission,
  2. Company profile and Organizational Structure including names and resume of key personnel,
  3. Tax clearance for the last three years.
  4. Evidence of technical competence in handling the projects in question (e.g. adequate number of equipment and technical staff),
  5. Verifiable list of previous projects/works executed in the recent past and evidence of satisfactory completion,
  6. Evidence of financial strength, credit worthiness and solvency,
  7. Evidence of compliance with the provision of Pension Reform Act 2004.
  8. Evidence of Payment of Development levy and registration of premises.
  9. Letter from the contractor authorizing the college of Education, Afaha Nsit, to verify all submissions.

 

 

4.   Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents:

Four (4) copies of spiral bound pre-qualification documents in sealed envelope with the inscription: “Pre-Qualification for Year 2010 ETF SIP” on the top left-hand side of the envelope should be submitted to:

Not later than 12noon on Wednesday, 29th of July 2011

 

5.     Opening of Pre-Qualification Documents:

Pre-qualification documents will be opened that same day, Wednesday, 29th of July 2011 at 1.00 pm. Please not that all bidders will be required to pay a non-refundable pre-qualification fee of N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) only at the Bursary Department of the college.

 

 

6.     Collection of Tender Documents:

Pre-qualified contractors will collect the tender documents from the office of the Director of Works of the College on 6th July 2011.

7.   Submission of Tender Documents:

Spiral bound Tender documents in sealed envelope with inscription. “2010 Etf Special Intervention Projects” (State the Lot Number) written at the top left-hand corner of the envelope should be submitted not later than 12noon of 27th July 2011 to the Registrar, College of Education, Afaha Nsit All Tenderers will be require to pay a tender processing fee of N 150,000.00 (One Hundred & Fifty Thousand Naira) only per lot.

 

 

8.    Opening of Tender Documents:

The Tender documents hereby invites will be opened same day, 27 July 2011 2.00 p.m. Interested members of the public, especially the tenderers are hereby invited.
