Invitation for Pre-Qualification to Tender for Capital Projects
1.0 Preamble
The Nigeria French Language Village, Ajara- Sadagry, an inter-University Center for French Studies hereby invites interested, reputable, experienced and highly capable contractors to express their interest for the proposed 2011 capital projects below:
(i) Purchase of Teaching and Research Equipment – (Ref. No – “PTRE”)
(a) Classroom furniture
(b) Laboratory/Electronic Equipment,
(ii) Improvement to water facilities-(Ref. No -“IWF”)
(iii) Extension to classroom Block (Ph.. JV) – (Ref No-ECB IV)
(iv) Construction of Road Network – (Ref No – “CRN”)
(v) Reticulation of Electricity (Phase 1 ) -(Ref. No- “REC”)
(vi) Rehabilitation of 500KVA Generator (including purchase of Brand New Engine) – (Ref No. “RG”)
(vii) Rehabilitation and Painting of Buildings – (Ref. No-“RPB”).
2.0 Pre-qualification/Requirements/EvaluationCriteria
i) Evidence of incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
ii) Submission of current three years tax clearance certificate and VAT Registration Certificate.
iii) Evidence of Audited Account for the last three years
iv) Provision of company profile.
v) Evidence of registration with the village
vi) Provision of details of staffing and level of expertise of key personnel of company
vii) List of Equipment and Technology capacity
viii) Provision of verifiable list of previous/similar works successfully executed within the specified contractual time frame in the past with the location the clients and Architect.
ix). Evidence of financial capabilities and Bank support
Note:
Applicant must attach their resent passport photograph with their application.
3.0 General Information
Interested contractors must collect pre-qualification screening forms from the Physical Planning Unit. Nigeria French language Village Ajara Badagry, upon payment of non-refundable fee of N10,000.00 (Ten-thousand naira only) per project at the cash office in the Bursary Department of the Nigeria French language Village.
4.0 Submissions
All submissions for each of the projects shall be in sealed envelopes and identified with their reference numbers at the top left hand corner and marked “confidential notice of of intention to pre-qualify as contractor” and forwarded to Director General, Nigeria French Language Village, Ajara-Badagry, to reach him on or before Monday 27th June, 2011.
Please note that all expenses incurred in preparing pre-qualification response shall be borne by the applicant contractor.
