Daula Hotel, situated at no. 150 Murtala Mohammed Way , Kano , is a 192 bedroom hotel made up of 184 double-rooms and 8 suites. The hotel, which is wholly owned by the Kano State Government, needs total renovation.

 

In an effort to create job opportunities for its teeming unemployed youths, the State Government is setting up a hospitality and tourism institute to cohabit with the hotel so as to provide students ample opportunities for practical lessons.

 

The hotel and the institute are to be run by two different managements, one for the hotel and the other for the institute.

 

To achieve this objective, Kano State Government hereby   invites   interested   individuals   and   the organized private sector interested in partnering with the Institute in renovating and the running the hotel section.

 

Interested investors are invited to inspect the hotel and study the proposed modification preparatory to the submission of proposals.

The Nigerian Security  Printing and Minting Plc (NSPM) intends to drift new Industrial Boreholes in the Abuja and Lagos Factories.

 

Interested reputable companies with cognate experience in the industry are invited !o register and collect bid documents from:

Interested companies are required to submit the information specified below in order to qualify for consideration incomplete submissions may lead to disqualification of the bid  document:

1.         Copy of Certificate of incorporation.

2.         Copy of form CO2 and C07 as the case may be.

3.         Copy of VAT registration certificate,

4.         Copy of the most current tax clearance certificate

5.         Evidence of similar projects carried out, if any

6.         Organizational structure of the company including  names of technical and managerial staff their Qualifications and cognate experience,

7.         Audited accounts for the preceding three (3) years.

8.         Evidence of financial capacity and capability to execute this project.

9.         Prospective contractors must show evidence of Employees open Retirement Savings Accounts (RSA) with a Pension Fund Administration of choice for indigenous companies and evidence of remittance of such contribution for both Employer and Employee to the appropriate Pension Fund Custodian when they are eventually selected,

 

Submission of Bid Documents

The bid document should be packaged neatly in binders and submitted in 2 no. copies, each in separate and wax-seated envelopes by the companies’ representative. The package will be registered and the companies’ representative will be required to sign the register. At a later  stage, the bids  will be  opened publicly in the  presence of the companies ‘representatives.

 

Deadline for Submission

The bid document should be delivered by hand, on or before 2nd December, 2011 with a non refundable fee of 20,000.00 in Bank Draft addressed to:

Invitation to Bid for the Supply and Installation of a CCTV System in Abuja and Lagos Factories

The Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Plc (NSPM) intends to update its CCTV system in the Abuja and Lagos Factories. The scope of work includes the dismantling of the existing system, the production of engineering working drawings and the supply and installation of CCTV equipment and related software and the training of operators and technicians at OEM’s facility and on site.

In line with the determination of Dr. Kayode Fayemi led administration to give great importance to the development and transformation of Ekiti State, the State Government is embarking on the Street lighting project of Ado – Ekiti the state capital.

 

2.       The following roads in Ado – Ekiti are being considered as first phase:

1.       Old Garage -Ikere Road

2.       Ijigbo-Ilawe Road

3.       Fajuyi – Basiri Road

4.       NTA Road

5.       Fajuyi – secretariat Road

6.       Fajuyi – Ojumose Road

7.       Fajuyi to University Teaching Hospital

 

Consequently, Tenders are hereby invited from interested, reputable and competent contractors for the project.

 

3.       Pre-Requsite for Tenders

(i)      Evidence of current Registration as a contractor with the Bureau of Public Procurement and Ekiti State Electricity Board.

(ii)     Evidence of payment of a non-refundable Tender fee of N125, 000.00 payable to Treasury Head 409 subhead 15 of the Ekiti State Electricity Board, Ado- Ekiti.

(iii)    Evidence of payment of appropriate Ekiti State Development Levy by the company for three (3) consecutive years up to 2011.

(iv)   Evidence of current registration of business premises with the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Ado – Ekiti.

(v)     Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.

(vi)    Current Tax Clearance Certificate of the Company for three (3) consecutive years (year of tender inclusive).

(vii)   Current Tax Clearance Certificate of the Chief Executive of the Company paid in Ekiti State.

(viii)  Evidence of the execution of the works of similar nature executed during the last five years or being currently executed, indicating the place and brief description of works name and address of contractual parties, period of performance and value.

 

 

4.       Collection   and   Submission    of Tenders

a.       The detailed specifications of the works to be done are as contained in the Tender Document which is available for collection from Ekiti State Electricity Board.

 

b.       All Tenders should be submitted to the State Tenders Board Secretariat not later than 5th December 2011.

 

c.       All tenders must be submitted in sealed envelopes marked with the title of the contract which must be clearly indicated on the top left corner of the envelope and addressed to:
