The Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board hereby invites registered, experienced and reputable contractors to tender for the under listed job:

 

(I) Job Descriptions:

LOT 1 –       495 cartons of big exercise books and 1636 packets of blue bic biro.

 

LOT 2 –       2418 cartons of white chalk, 1026 cartons of coloured chalks and 817 bundles of cardboard

 

LOT 3 –       817 bundles of cardboard, 3,070 packets of permanent marker and 1,300 packets of white board marker

 

LOT 4 –       1300 packets of white board marker, 3256 booklets of objectives test shading sheets and 1628 chalk board rulers

 

LOT 5 –       3256 chalkboard rulers and 382 packets of red bic biro

 

LOT 6 –       210 cartons of big exercise books, 382 packets of red bic biro, 1030 cartons of white chalks, 515 cartons of coloured chalks, 1068 chalkboard Rulers and 321 copies of Logbook

 

(2) Requirements for Tendering

Interested contractors must submit along with their tenders the following documents:

(i)      Evidence of registration of company with Corporate Affairs Commission.

(ii)     Evidence of registration with Ekiti State Bureau of procurement.

(iii)    Three years tax clearance certificate (2009, 2010 and 2011).

(iv)    Evidence of payment of 3 years development levy (2009, 2010 and 2011).

(v)     Evidence of execution of similar projects/jobs.

(vi)    Interested bidders can obtain Tender documents and other details from the Director, School Services, and State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Stadium Road, Ado-Ekiti after showing evidence of payment of tender fees.

 

(3)   Submission:

Re-Advertisement for Pre-qualification of Contractors for 2011 TETFUND Funded Take-Off Projects

 

1.         The Federal University, Lafia, in its effort to execute its Take-off Projects and the failure of any successful bid to emerge from earlier advertisement, hereby invites interested and reputable contractors to submit pre-qualification bid for the Lot 14 Procurement of Glassware for Physics Laboratory of its 2011 TETFUND

funded Take-off Projects.

 

2.         Pre-Qualification Criteria

Interested contractors should submit the following documents:

i.          Evidence of incorporation of company with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Article of Memorandum of Association;

ii.         Company’s Audited Account for the last three (3) years

iii.        Tax Clearance Certificates for the last three (3) years expiring in December 2011 with Tax Identification Number (TIN)

iv.        Evidence of Compliance with Pension Reform Act, and up to date remittance of Employees’ Pension Fund Contribution in line with section 6d of the Public Procurement Act 2007;

v.         Evidence of Financial capability and banking support

vi.        Evidence of similar and verifiable projects executed (copies of Letters of Contract Award and Completion Certificates) within the last three (3) years and knowledge of the Industry;

vii.       Company’s Annual Turnover

viii.      Evidence of VAT registration and remittance

ix.        Comprehensive Company profile and organizational structure,

x.         Evidence of Equipment and Technology capacity

xi.        Evidence of Experience/Technical Qualification  and experience of key personnel to be deployed on the project

xii.       Sworn Affidavit indicating the authenticity of information provided to be true in every respect that the company is not in receivership and none of its Directors were ever convicted of fraudulent activity.

 

3.         Verification of Claims

Please note that Federal University Lafia reserves the right to verify claims made in the pre-qualification documents submitted by interested contractors,

 

4.         Submission of Pre-Qualification Tender

All Tenders should be in sealed envelopes and marked at the top-right hand corner of the envelope ”Pre-Qualification for (Project Name)” and addressed to: The Registrar, Federal University Lafia, P.M.B 146, Lafia, Nasarvwa State.

 

5.         Tenders should be dropped in the Tender box at the Reception of the University at the University’s Take-off site, UnguwarAkuiua, Obi Road, Lafia, on or before February 7th 2012 by 12.00pm .

 

Tenders shall be opened on the same day at 2,00pm in the temporary Conference Room of the Take-off site.

Representatives of all bidding companies and the general public are invited to attend the opening exercise.

 

6.         Successful bidders shall be notified to collect the appropriate Tender documents for the Commercial/Financial bidding.

Request for Proposals at Legal Aid Council

Our client, Legal Aid Council (the Council), a Federal Government parastatal providing free legal assistance and enhancing access to justice through the Japanese Social Development Fund (JSDF) administered by the World Bank, requests civil access to justice proposals from justice sector stakeholders preferably registered and (or) incorporated development groups, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and other Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in Kaduna State.

 

The council is seeking collaborations in Kaduna state to deliver a 3 year project on civil access to justice specifically to enhance Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) through mediation and public awareness programmes to the poor and the vulnerable in Kaduna state.

 

Proposals should centre around the following areas:

  • Advocacy
  • Sensitization/Awareness
  • Mediation/Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
  • Human Rights Training/Capacity Building

 

Interested Organizations should in addition to the proposal submit their profile, audited account covering 2008, 2009 and 2010 together with copy of registration or incorporation certificates, areas of coverage/spread in Kaduna  state and staff strength.

 

Successful applicants would be awarded grants ranging from $1,000 to $20,000for the 3 years project.

Expression of Interest for Access to Justice Assessment and Baseline Study in Kaduna and Adjoining States

 

The Legal Aid Council Nigeria (the Council) a government parastatal, supervised by the Federal Ministry of Justice, through the Japanese Social Development Fund (JSDF) administered by the World Bank, requests expression of Interest from justice sector stakeholders (legal aid providers) to deliver a-three-year pilot civil access to justice project in Kaduna State to mainly focus on rights awareness and alternative dispute resolution by enhancing existing dispute resolution institutions and establishing mediation centres at the grassroots level in Kaduna State.

 

This project is designed to address gaps in the justice system, enhance the capacities of justice sector actors and create rights awareness in the general populace of Kaduna State.

 

The Council is now looking to identify consultants who can support the entire assessment process from start to finish, ensuring coherence across all the steps.   In particular, they would work closely with all partners and stakeholders to assist with the design of the quantitative and qualitative parts of the survey and will take the lead on the data collection and analysis. They will also be responsible for producing the final assessment report which will draw together all assessment findings.

 

Successful applicants would be required to submit proposals for the Access to Justice Assessment and Baseline Study in Kaduna and Adjoining State after being issued the Terms of Reference for the Project.

Invitation for Expression of Interest as consultants on the Supply and Installation of Equipment Under PTDF Projects.

1.0 Introduction

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) invites interested reputable Consultancy  firms wishing to participate in the Supply & Installation of Equipment for the Federal Polytechnic of Oil & Gas, Ekowe , Bayelsa State; Centre for Skills Development and Training, Port Harcourt, Rivers State ; and Oil & Gas Research Centre and Museum, Oloibiri, Bayelsa State Projects respectively, to submit their documents for pre-qualification .

2.0. Scope of Services

The Scope of the consultancy service will include, but not limited to the provision of preliminary/detailed designs, specifications, cost estimates and project supervision/ management.

3.        Pre-Qualification Criteria

Any prospective consultant for the above service shall be required to satisfy with adequate evidence, the following minimum criteria:

i.        Evidence of incorporation or business name registration

ii.       Company audited account for the last three years

iii.      Evidence of tax clearance f or the last three years

iv.      Evidence of financial capability and bank support

v.       Technical  competence:   qualification   and   experience   of   key personnel, professional affiliation and equipment & technology capacity

vi.      Evidence of similar projects executed

vii.     Annual turnover

viii.    VAT registration and evidence of past VAT remittance

ix.      Evidence of employees Open Retirement Savings Account (RSA) with a Pension Fund Administrator of choice for indigenous companies

x.       Evidence of remittance of both employer and employee Pension contribution to the appropriate Pension Fund Custodian

xi.      Evidence of compliance with ITF Act.

 

 

 

The completed pre-qualification documents shall be properly sealed in an envelope, with the Project for which interest is being expressed clearly marked on the left hand corner and addressed to:

This pre-qualification request is not an invitation to tender. PTDF is neither committed not obligated to undertake the work described above or to issue any call for  tender or to include any respondent to this invitation or other companies on any tender list, or to award any form(s) of contract. PTDF will not make any form of payment whatsoever for submissions made in response to this notice.
