Introduction

Federal Government College, Billiri, Gombe state, a unity school under Federal Ministry of Education (FME) is desirous of executing some approved capital project under 2012 budget appropriation.

 

Invitation

In view of the above, registered and reputable contractors are hereby invited to submit both technical and financial bids for the execution of the Following projects:-

 

Lot 1:     Construction of Student’s dining and kitchen

Lot 2:     Construction and control of gully erosion

Lot 3:     Construction of a perimeter wall fence and construction of collapsed wall Lot 4:              Construction of VIP toilets

 

Requirement from Contractors

  • Evidence of Company incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
  • Evidence of Registration with F.I.R. S/National Pension Commission
  • Three (3) years Tax Clearance
  • Bidders Covering Letter
  • Name of personal including Professionals
  • Three (3) letters of Contract Awards, Executed
  • Three (3) completion/valuation letters
  • Bank Reference letter
  • Audited Account for the previous year
  • Annual Turn Over
  • Copy of VAT clearance
  • Evidence of variable experiences in similar project executed, giving names of client

 

Payment of Registration fee:

Contractors not registered are to pay registration fee of (N20, 000) Twenty Thousand Naira Only. Contractors previously registered are to pay (N10, 000) Ten Thousand Naira only on renewal of registration fee.

 

All payments are to be made in the account department of the college

 

Collection of Bids Documents

Interested companies should collect tender document from the bursary office, Federal Government College, Billiri upon payment of (N20, 000) twenty thousand naira non refundable fee for the document, between, Tuesday 31 July 2012 to August 28th 2012

 

Submission of Tender/Bids:

Completed documents should submitted in two (2) hard copies in sealed envelopes with the title of the project and lot identification clearly written at the top right hand corner of the envelop and addressed to:

Pre-Qualification Requirements:

Interested companies should submit the under-listed pre-qualification documents for assessment:

1.       Evidence of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

2.       Evidence of recent annual returns of CAC.

3.       Evidence of current tax clearance for the past three years.

4.       Evidence of VAT certificate and VAT remittances to Federal Internal Revenue Service.

5.       Names of bankers with references.

B.      Company profile with CV’s of key officers including photocopies of       relevant professional/technical qualifications.

7.       Verifiable evidence of successful completion of similar works within the  past three (3) years; attach copies of awards and certificate of completion.

8.       Evidence of financial capability and banking support.

9.       Submission of PENCOM’s certificate of compliance, confirming company’s          fulfillment of its statutory obligations to employees with respect to pensions.

10.     Evidence of current audited accounts of the company for the past three years.

11.    Please state clearly your company’s full contact address. GSM Number and E-Mail Address for ease of communication.

12      Sworn affidavit that no officer of the University of Calabar is a former or present director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder: and none of the Directors of the company seeking pre-qualification has been convicted of any criminal offence and the company is not under receivership. The affidavit is to also confirm the authenticity of information presented in the firm’s pre-qualification documents to be true in all particulars.

 

Submission:

(i)      Pre-qualification documents must be delivered in one bound copy in a sealed envelope marked, “Confidential Pre-qualification for UNICAL 2008-2011 Tetfund Library Development Projects” and the lot of interest clearly printed at the top left corner of the envelope to be submitted on or before 27th August 2012. The sealed and clearly marked envelops as specified above should be addressed to:

Interested Contractors and Suppliers are to pay a Non-refundable pre-qualification, fee of fifty thousand naira (N50, 000.00) for LOT I, Thirty Thousand naira (30,000.00) for LOT II, Twenty thousand Naira (N20.000.00) for LOTS III, V, VI, and VII and Ten (N10.000.00) each is for LOTS I and II of Library Development Intervention. All payments should be made at the Bursary Department of Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru.
