Preamble:

It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, is planning to execute her Capital Projects for 2012.

 

As a first step to subsequent engagement of contractors in handling the projects, interested and reputable contractors, with cognate experience, are hereby invited to apply for pre-qualification.

 

Comprehensive details in respect of the projects are as follows:

 

A.       Project Title and Contract Number

1.       Procurement of Agricultural Machineries, Equipment and Chemicals- (FCA/CP/2012.01)

2.       Expansion Development of College Piggery, Poultry, Fishery, and Nursery

(FCACP 2012.02)

4.       Completion of Classroom for Entrepreneurship Development (FCA/CP/2012.04)

B. Pre-Qualification Criteria

(a)     Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission

(b)     Evidence of similar jobs earlier executed (attach letter of award and job completion certificates)

(c)      Indicate technical and administrative staff strength with academic /professional qualifications and experience of key personnel.

(d)     Indicate list of equipment and their conditions

(e)      Indicate current financial status of your Company, including reference from your bank, attesting to your financial capability.

(f)      Include Tax Clearance Certificates for the immediate past three years.

(g)     Indicate registered premises of your Company

(h)     Indicate Annual turnover and VAT registration with evidence of past VAT remittances

 

C.       Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents

Pre-qualification documents should be enclosed in sealed envelopes and clearly marked at the left hand comer “Pre Qualification to Tender” All documents should be submitted not later than 28th August, 2012 latest by 12.00 noon of the last day.

D.      Points to Note

(a).    This advertisement is not an invitation to tender. Full tendering will be applied to only tenderers that have been pre-qualified and found capable of handling the projects.

The pre-qualification and tender documents should each be sealed and labeled (Technical and Financial Bids as appropriate) separately, and the two envelopes should be enclosed in another envelope that should also be sealed.

 

Duly endorsed documents should be addressed to the Acting Pension Officer and dropped in the tamper-proof Bid Box at the Office of the Acting Director, Admin & Staff Development Department on or before Tuesday, 21st August 2012.

 

Representatives of bidding companies are invited to witness the opening of tenders next same day at the National Gallery of Art’s Board room 10.00am prompt.

In compliance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act, 2007 the National Commission for Museums and Monuments wishes to bring to the attention of the public her intention to carry out the following procurement activities in the Commission as provided for in the 2012 Capital Appropriation. In view of the above, bids are hereby invited from interested and reputable contractors with relevant experience and good track records in respect of the following projects.

Qualification Criteria and Tender Requirements

In order to be considered, interested Contractors are required to submit the following documents along with the financial bids.

 

i.        Evidence of company registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and forms CO7

ii.       Company profile and organizational structure, including names and resume of key personnel with addresses and phone numbers

iii.      Detail evidence of compliance with Pension Act 2004 including evidence of remittances

iv.      Last three (3) years Tax Clearance certificates (2009, 2010 and 2011)

v.       Verifiable list of previous/similar major works carried out in recent past with their locations and clients. (copies of award letters, completion certificates/final payment certificate should be attached)

vi.      Evidence of VAT registration certificate and past remittances

vii.     Audited Accounts for the last three years

viii.    Evidence of financial strength and banking support

ix.      Evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council (FRC) of Nigeria

x.       List of Equipment to be used for the project and their location. (State whether the equipment are leased, hired or owned, if owned attach proof).

 

Collection of Tender Documents

Bid documents are to be collected upon payment of non-refundable fee of twenty thousand naira (N20,000.00) only per project in certified draft in favour of National Commission for Museums and Monuments, Abuja.

 

Submission of Tender Documents

Completed bid should be submitted in three copies (one original and two other copies) and all pages dully endorsed by the bidders. The documents should be sealed and labelled (Technical / Financial Bids as appropriate) separately with the appropriate project title and lot number, clearly written at the top left hand corner of the envelope and addressed to: The Secretary, Procurement Planning Committee, National Commission for Museums and Monuments, Block C, First Floor, Federal Secretariat-Head of Service, Phase II Shehu Shagari Way, Central Business District, Abuja.
