In its continuous effort to enhance socio-economic activities of the State through provision of quality infrastructure, Kano State Government intends to carry out Road Construction Works under Contract for which this invitation for Pre-qualification/Tender is issued.

 

The Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA) on behalf of the Ministry of Land and Physical Planning, intends to prequalify Contractors for the under mentioned Projects:-

DUSS:                  Dualization/Upgrading of SAS -Sabuwar Kofa Road

RDR:                    Rehabilitation of Dorawa Road and

Collection of Tender Documents:

Eligible Civil Engineering Companies may apply for the Contract between 19th August – 2nd September, 2013 and obtain Prequalification /Tender Documents from the Director Civil and Mechanical Engineering at a non-refundable fee of  N100, 000:00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira) each.

 

Requirements:

One of the requirements for qualification as provided in the Tender documents will be to have successfully earned out, as Prime Contractor, at least two works of a nature and complexity equivalent to the proposed works during the last five years.

Requirements

Interested firms are required to submit expressions prepared in English Language with the following requirements which shall be used as criteria for preliminary selection.

 

Mandatory (without which companies will be disqualified)

i.        Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

ii.       Certified true copy of Memorandum and Article of Association.

iii.      Evidence of tax for the last three (3) years as at when due.

iv.      Evidence of payment into employees’ Retirement Savings Account (RSA) in compliance with extant provision of Pension Reform ACT 2004.

v.       Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) regulation (where applicable).

vi.      Evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council, Nigeria (FRCN)

 

Others

a.       Corporate profile of the firm including CV of key personnel supported by professional certificates, registered and functional contact email address, GSM number(s), facsimile number(s).

b.       Audited accounts in the last three (3) years duly stamped by licensed auditors.

c.       Verifiable references of related services rendered in the last three (3)years; and

d.       References of satisfactory performance on similar projects from

three previous clients.

5.       Closing Date
