The Federal College of Education, Zaria wishes to bring to the notice of interested, competent and reputable contractors/suppliers that it intends to utilize the year 2013 CAPITAL PROJECT GRANT in the procurement of the under listed goods and works as follows:

 

Construction of Gymnasium for PHE Department, Upgrading of ICT Equipment and facilities/College Power Network purchase of Laboratories Equipment, purchase of offices/library furniture, Rehabilitation of Building /Roads and Drainages

 

Pre-Qualification Requirements

  • Certificate of incorporation/Business Registration
  • Current TAX Clearance certificate for the last three (3) years
  • Value added tax Registration certificate
  • Verifiable evidence of previous experience in the area of interest
  • Company profile
  • Three years (3) audited accounts
  • Evidence of financial capability
  • Evidence of PENCOM
  • Evidence of ITF contribution

 

Submission of Document:

The application of pre-Qualification must be submitted in sealed envelopes and boldly marked PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENT and should be addressed as, follows: The Registrar, Federal College of Education, PM B 1041 Zaria, Kaduna State.

 

Closing Date:

Submission of application for Pre-Qualification closes on Monday 22nd April, 2013 at 12:00 noon. The pre-qualification documents will be publicly open for processing at 12: 30pm Monday 22nd April, 2013, at the College. Only qualified companies will be short listed and invited to tender.

A.      Introduction

In compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) hereby invites competent and reputable companies/contractors to submit bid documents for the projects stated below, under its 2013 financial year (IGR) budget.

 

The Projects

Lot 1-          Restoration of abandoned sewage treatment plant at Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Logos

 

Lot 2-          Restoration of abandoned sewage treatment plant at Port-Harcourt International Airport, Port-Harcourt

 

B.      Scope:

The scope of the project shall include:

To restore abandoned sewage treatment plant at the airports to full working state.

 

C.      Documents that must be Submitted Along with the Completed Tender

  • Evidence of company registration (Certificate of Incorporation of the company)
  • Certified true copy of memorandum and article of association with CAC forms CAC02 & CACO7 inclusive (where applicable).
  • Evidence of tax payments (Current Tax Clearance Certificate) for the last three years.
  • VAT registration and evidence of remittance
  • Evidence of Payment into employees’ retirement savings account (RSA) in compliance with extant  provision of Pension Reform Act 2004.
  • Evidence of financial capability to execute the project (Bank Reference Letter/Bank guarantee will form part of the evaluation criteria).
  • Copies of the Audited Account of the company for the last three (3) years.
  • Verifiable evidence of similar works successfully completed/on-going (e.g. Letter of Award, Certificate of Completion, Contract Agreement and Payment Certificate).
  • Clear indication of Head office address (Registered premise).
  • Corporate Profile with Curriculum Vitae showing evidence of Academic/Professional Qualifications of key personnel.
  • Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) regulation (where applicable).
  • Evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council (FRC) of Nigeria (where applicable).
  • Sworn Affidavit disclosing as follows:
    • That all documents submitted are not only correct but genuine.
    • That the Director(s) has /have never been convicted by any court of law.
    • That none of firm’s Director or the company is bankrupt.
    • Whether or not any of the officers of FAAN or BPP is a former or present Director of the company.

 

D.      Submission of Documents

1.       The documents are to be submitted in four (4) copies in A4 paper Size and neatly bound. The document should be arranged in the order listed under Pre- Qualification and Tendering requirements and clearly separated by dividers.

 

2.       The original Technical Proposal should be enclosed in one (1) envelope and three (3) copies in another envelope, duly marking the envelopes as “Original” and “Copy”. These two (2) envelopes shall then be enclosed in one (1) single outer envelope, duly marked “Technical Proposal”.

 

3.       The Tenderers Shall also enclose the original Financial Proposal in one (1) single separate envelope, duly marking the envelope as “Financial Proposal” and with a warning “Do not Open with the Technical Proposal”.

 

4.       The inner and outer envelopes shad:

a.       Sear the name and address of the Tenderer.

b.       Be addressed to the Employer at the address specified in the Special Instruction to Tenderers (SIT).

c.       Bear the name of the Tender and the Tender Number as specified in the SIT and.

  • Bear a statement “do not open before 11.30 am on 2nd May 2013” If all envelopes are not sealed and marked as required by Submission of Document Sub-Clause (3) above, the Employer will assume no responsibility for the misplacement or premature opening of the Tender.

  • Procurement of certificate of titles for airport lands and other airport landed properties outside the airports throughout the federation.

 

C.      Expression of Interest (EOI) Requirements

  • Evidence of Company Registration (Certificate of incorporation or Registration of business name).
