The State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Gombe invites tenders from reputable contractors for the outstanding external works at Bajoga, Deba and Kaltungo model primary schools and consultancy services.

 

Pre-Qualification Requirements:

(a)     Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

(b)     Company’s Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the past (3) years,

(c)      Company’s VAT Registration Certificate.

(d)     Letter of attestation of good financial standing from the company’s bankers including name and address of the Bank(s).

(e)      Bank Guarantee or Insurance bond.

(f)      Evidence of previous similar contracts stating contract value and showing evidence of award and timely completion.

The Nigerian Railway Corporation intends to undertake the Procurement of various Projects under the 2013 Capital and Recurrent Budget.

  1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has obtained a loan from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) for co-financing the cost of National Programme for Food Security. National Programme for Food Security intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for the construction of Agro-Processing Demonstration and Training Centre for which invitation for bids is issued.

 

  1. The National Programme For Food Security (NPFS) intends to employ qualified contractors for construction of Agro-Processing Demonstration and Training Centre for Poultry Feed Milling in Agulu Anambra state. Details of the work to be done are specified in the bidding document.
  2. Bidding is open to private firms and voluntarily formed joint ventures duly registered to operate in Nigeria.
  3. Bidding documents may be purchased at National Programme For Food Security (NPFS), 127, Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja, for a non-refundable fee of Twenty thousand Naira (N20.000.00) only. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address by 9.00AM – 4.00PM on Monday to Friday, except on public holidays.
  4. The bidding documents should be collected by hand from the above address by written application clearly stating “Request for bidding documents for construction of Agro-processing and Training Centre in Anambra State”. The National Programme For Food Security shall issue the documents directly to the purchaser but under no circumstances will it be held responsible for any disaffection arising thereof.
  5. The minimum requirements for Contractor qualification are as follows:
    1. Having achieved an annual turnover in construction work of at least N35m in any of the last five (5) years.
    2. Verifiable proof of experience as prime contractor in the construction of at least two works of a nature and complexity equivalent to the works over the last 5 years (to comply with this requirement works quoted should be at least 70% completed). Acceptable verifiable proof shall be copies of the letter of contract award and/or certificate of contract completion.
    3. Verifiable proof of ownership/unhindered access to essential equipment required for the job.
    4. A Project/Contract Manager with 10 years experience in works of equivalent nature and volume including not less than five (5) years as Manager.
    5. Verifiable proof of Liquid assets and/or confirmed credit facilities of not less than N14.5 Million.
    6. VAT registration certificate and three (3) years Tax Clearance
    7. Copy of company’s registration with CAC
    8. Evidence of registration with Pensions Commission in line with the provisions of the Procurement Act 2007.

 

  1. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by security of at least 3% of the Bid Price.
  2. Completed bids are to be directed/delivered to The National Programme Coordinator,  National Programme For Food Security (NPFS), 127, Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja, on or before 12.00 noon by…21st May 2013   at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders or representatives who choose to attend.

Collection and Submission of Tender Documents

Tender documents can be collected from respective Local Government Areas where the projects are located. Each lot attracts a non-refundable processing fee of N5.000 (Five thousand naira only) per lot. The sale of tenders will commence from 10am on April 16th 2013 and close at 12pm on April 29, 2013. Tenders will be opened in each Local Government Area at 1 pm on April, 30th 2013. Completed Tenders are to be sealed and addressed to the Head of Department of Works (HOD Works) in each Local Government Area.

1.0     Introduction:

 

The National Orthopaedic Hospital, Dala – Kano invites Tenders and Pre-qualification documents from competent and experienced Contractors/Suppliers for execution of the following Hospital’s 2013 Capital Projects:-

2.0     Evaluation Requirements:

1.       Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (C.A.C).

2.       Evidence of Tax clearance for the last three (3) years.

3.       Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance.

4.       Evidence of compliance with pension reform Act 2004 with regards to operation of the employees Retirement Savings Accounts with an approved Pension Fund Administrator (PFA).

5.       Company profile with Evidence of Personnel capability including list of Key Professionals, C.V of each professional.

6.       Evidence of experience in jobs of similar nature within the past Three (3) years with verifiable letters of contract/s award or certificate/s of job completion/details of on-going Projects.

7.       Those interested in Supplying Orthopaedic instruments and implants must provide evidence that the Implants meet International Standards with appropriate guarantees.

8.       Evidence of financial capability to handle the job by way of turnover figures backed by three years Audited Report, Bank statement and Bank reference letter.

9.       Evidence of compliance with Provision of Section 6 (i – iii) of the Industrial

Training Fund (ITF) amended Act no. 19 of 2011 with regards to payment of contribution for employees training.

 

Interested companies are to obtain Tender/Bid Documents from Planning Unit of Administration Department of the Hospital upon the presentation of the receipt of payment of non-refundable Tender processing fee of N 30,000.00 per Lot.

 

Only the submissions which fulfill the requirements stated above will be considered.

 

3.0     Submissions:

Technical and Financial documents should be packaged in separate envelopes identifying the contents as either Technical or Financial documents, sealed and addressed to:

The two envelopes are to be put in a bigger envelope addressed also as above and clearly list the contents. Submissions are to be deposited in the Tender Box provided in the Office of the Medical Director on or before Monday 27th May, 2013 by 12.00 noon when the proposals and Bids will be opened in the Hospital Board Room.

 

Tenderers/Bidders are also to note that the Hospital is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
