EDUCATION POST BASIC (STEP-B) PROJECT
Procurement of Lab. Materials, text books and project vehicle
Credit no: 4304 Issuance date: June 16, 2010.
1. This invitation for bids follows a credit received by Federal Government of Nigeria from the International Development Association towards the cost of a step B Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payment under the contract for the procurement Items below.
2. The Federal Government College, Ohafia Step-B project implementation Office, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of the following items below.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding(NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank Guidelines, procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and is open to all bidders from eligible source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
4.lnterested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Federal Government College, Step-B project implementation office, Ohafia and inspect the bidding document at the address-given above from 11.00am-4.00pm local time (Monday Fridays).
5. A complete set of bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application of the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of five thousand naira (N5, 000.) only. The method of payment will be in cash or Bank Draft. The document will be sent by hand or courier on request. Bidders may bid for one or more lots.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 11.00am on Thursday 15th July 2010. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security from a reputable bank of at least 2.5 percent of bid price. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at the address below (FGC OHAFIA) by 1.00pm on July 15th 2010.
