Invitation for Pre-Qualification & Tender for Tetfund Years 2011 & 2012 Merged Intervention Projects
Introduction:
The Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic is desirous of executing Years 2011 & 2012 Merged Tetfund Normal Intervention Projects for the construction Central Library Building
2. Description of Projects:
(A)Lot A: Construction of central library Building.
3. Pre-Qualification Requirements
Interested competent contractors wishing to carry out the above project are required to submit the following
- Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
- Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) 2010, 2011 & 2012 years
- Evidence or VAT registration Certificate with TIN No.
- Evidence of issuance of compliance Certificate to all Organizations by PENCOM in line with Pension Reform Act 2004 (as amended)
- Evidence of compliance with the amended industrial Training Fund 2011
- Names of Bankers with references
- Evidence of Financial Capability to execute the projects
- Company profile with CV’s of key officers of the relevant professional/technical qualifications.
- List of verifiable construction/equipment indicating ownership or lease agreement for section A (Works Component) only.
- Verifiable evidence of successful completion of similar works within the part three (3) years and attached copies of letters of awards and certificate of successful completion (NB). The above criteria will attract marks). Bidding will be conduct Through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure as specified in the 2007 Public Procurement Act. interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Office of the Rector and collect the Bidding Documents between 9.00am till 3.30pm (Mondays-Fridays except public holidays at the following address; Rector, Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.
4. College of Documents
A complete set of Bidding Documents shall be collected by interested bidders from the above address on the submission of written application accompanied by a non refundable tender fee of twenty Thousand Naira N20, 000.00 in the certified Bank Draft payable to the School and the bidding documents will be collected by hand by bidder’s representative.
5. Submission of Technical & Financial Bids
The completed tender should be enveloped in two separate envelopes marked (Technical Bid) and\(Financial/Bid) sealed wax and marked on the Top Left Hand Corner with the inscription the project and should be addressed to the Registrar, Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State and deposit in the Tender Box on or before 12.noon the 24th May, 2013.
6. Public Opening of Bids
Technical Bids shall be opened immediately after close of submission at the Polytechnic Chamber in the Public. Only successful Technical Bidders will be invited for the opening of financial bids at a later date.
