Invitation to Tender Fro It Equipment, Electrical Appliances and Furniture/Fittings

Introduction
The Debt Management Office wishes to update some of its IT Equipment and replace old and out-of-use Electrical Equipment and Furniture/Fittings. Consequently, tenders are invited from contractors for the supply of IT Equipment, Furniture/Fittings and Electrical Appliances. All applications should be per LOT, as follows:

LOT 1: IT Equipment:

i.    Servers
ii.    Computers
iii.    Central UPS
iv.    Printers
v.    Notebooks
vi.    Scanners

LOT 2: Office Furniture and Fittings

i.    Executive Chairs
ii.    Board Room Chairs
iii.    Office Chairs
iv.    Office/Reception Tables
v.    Shelves

LOT 3: Electrical Appliances

i.    Split Air Conditioners
ii.    Data Centre Cooling Systems
iii.    Television Sets/Screen Set
iv.    Refrigerators
v.    Radio Sets

Description of Work
Procurement and supply/installation of the items in LOTs I, II & III.

Technical Requirements
a)    Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission
b)    Copy of Tax Clearance Certificates for the past three years
c)    Copy of VAT Certificate and evidence of remittances
d)    Company’s audited financial reports for the last three years
e)    Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully done in the past three years
f)    For Lot I, Proof of experience and competence in supply, support, and configuration of server environments, Online Central UPS Systems for Servers and Computers, LAN infrastructure, including OEM relationship is required.
g)    Bank reference

Submission of Documents

Interested contractors should collect Tender Documents from the Admin Unit of the DMO. Tenders are to be submitted on or before 10.00 a.m. on Monday, September 27, 2010, and the Bids will be opened by 12.00 noon of the same day, at the DMO’s Boardroom. The “LOT applied for has to be indicated at the Back of the Envelope”. Separate Technical and Financial Bids should be sent in different envelopes, and boldly marked as such.

Electronic Bids shall not be accepted and Bids received after the deadline will be rejected. All interested stakeholders are by this notice invited to observe the Bid Opening at the date and venue specified above. All submissions should be addressed to:
