In pursuance of the execution of the Year 2010 Education Trust Fund intervention, the Lagos State Ministry of Education hereby invites interested contractors for Prequalification and Subsequent Bidding (qualified contractors only) for the construction of Blocks of Classrooms to schools in the 3 Senatorial Districts within the State.

Pre-Qualification Requirements

Interested Contractors are to submit their application for Pre-Qualification along with following documents:

  • Evidence of Registration of the Company with Corporate Affairs Commission
  • Evidence of Registration with the Lagos State Tenders Board
  • Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three [3] years of the company, 5 Years Company’s Audited Account, and two [2] Directors
  • Names and Resumes of Company’s Technical Personnel
  • Evidence of similar jobs completed
  • List of Plant and Equipment
  • Evidence of VAT Registration: Remittance of VAT
  • Any additional information that may enhance the pre-qualification of the     company

 

Bidders will collect the Tender Documents on the payment of a non-refundable fee of N30,000.00 [Thirty Thousand Naira only], from the Projects Unit, Block 5, Room 615, between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. daily.

 

All payments must be made through Bank Draft in favour of Lagos State Ministry of Education.

 

Submission should clearly indicate the Type of Project bided for and the Code Number clearly indicated

1.       The Executive Secretariat of the Abidjan Lagos Corridor Organization received a Grant from the Global Fund to fight against Aids Tuberculosis and Malaria to finance the proj­ect: Intensification of STI/HIV/AIDS interventions targeting mobile populations: Consolidation and Extension of the joint regional STI/HIV/AIDS project along Abidjan-Lagos transport Corridor.

 

2.       ALCO Executive Secretariat wishes to:

(i)      Conduct behavioral surveillance coupled with STI/HIV/AIDS biological survey among the target groups such as the truckers, the commercial sex workers and other mobile populations at the border sites and other hotspots along the Abidjan-Lagos corridor.

(ii)     Determine the degree of stigmatization suffered by PLHIV in their immediate environment along the Abidjan-Lagos corridor.

 

3.       The Executive Secretariat of the Abidjan-Lagos Corridor Organization through this expression of interest invites interested firms to express their interest to provide the above described services. They should be firms with proven experience in behavioral surveillance coupled  with STI/HIV/AIDS biological survey. Consultants must provide evidence of their qualifications and experience (brochures, references to implementation of similar contracts, experience in similar conditions, and availability of required knowledge among staff) to provide these services.

4.       The Consultants will be shortlisted in accordance  with the procedures defined by the Abidjan-Lagos Corridor Organization.

5.       The projected duration of the mission is two months.

6.       Interested consultants may obtain detailed information at the address below.

7.       Expressions of interest must be submitted in sealed envelope or by e-mail on or before Tuesday 12th July 2011 at 6.00pmat the address below. Disposal of Unserviceable Items

Introduction

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) through its Ministerial Board of Survey invites interested members of the public to submit financial bid for the purchase of some unserviceable items located at the premises of its Secretariats, Departments and Agencies

 

Item for Sale

Items for sale include among others: unserviceable vehicles, power generators, air conditioners, office furniture, computers and computer accessories, etc,

 

 

Pre-Qualification Guidelines

Items for sale will be available for inspection at designated locations between the hours of 10:00am to 3:00pm each not later than 4th August, 2011

 

All items will be sold “as is” and “where is” with no guarantee expressed or implied as to the conditions of the items available for sale.

 

 

All items will be sold for the amount (in naira) quoted by the highest bidder only and must be paid in full by bank draft in favour of FCTA and picked up on or before 8th July, 2011after sale. Items not paid for and picked up within this stated time frame will be re-advertised for sale immediately.

Completed bid documents should be in a sealed envelope and clearly labeled Tender for  Disposal of  Unserviceable Items” and the LOT for which the bid is being made should be specified (e.g. Tender for Disposal of Unserviceable Items/Lot 1), The sealed envelopes should be deposited in Tender Box at FCT Tenders Board Secretariat, Room 043, First Floor, Block B, FCTA Secretariat, Kapital Road, Area 11 Garki Abuja in triplicates (one original and two other copies) with all pages endorsed by the bidder not later than 4th August, by 10.00am. Interested bidders or their representatives are invited to witness the opening of the bids on the same day of closure of submission at Hall G9, FCT Archives and History Bureau, near AGIS, Peace Drive, Area 11 Garki Abuja by 12.00pm. Submissions received after the stated deadline shall NOT be entertained and the FCT Board of Survey is not bound to accept tenders sent by courier or post.
