Interested companies are required to submit the following documents:

(i)      Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;

(ii)     Evidence of registration with INEC;

(iii)    3 years Tax Clearance Certificate (2008-2010);

(iv)    VAT registration and past remittances;

(v)     Last three (3) years Company’s Audited Account (2008, 2009 and 2010)

(vi)    Details of experience / technical qualification of key personnel;

(vii)      Evidence of registration with PENCOM, NHIS etc and contributions on behalf of employees.

(viii)  Evidence of technical capability and experience with similar jobs.

 

C.     General Information

The closing date for submission of the bid documents shall be Tuesday 5th September, 2011 at 4.00Pm.

 

ii.       The pre-qualification documents submitted on or before the closing date and time shall be opened at Commission premises on Thursday 7th September, 2011 at 11.00am

iii.      Only firms that are successful from the Pre-qualification exercise will be contacted and invited for financial bids,

The pre-qualification documents be should be submitted in sealed envelops and to be addressed to The Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo. Tenders should indicate clearly on top right hand corner of the envelop pre-qualification documents. Bidding documents will only be given to contractors that qualify.

Pre-qualification documents and tenders will be opened at 12.00 noon on 5th September, 2011. Submission should be made before the opening date.

 

NB: The Federal Medical Centre. Jalingo is neither committed nor obliged to reply any company not found suitable.

The Centre for Integrated Health Programs (CIHP) is a leading indigenous non-governmental organization that promotes better health outcomes through partnerships. CIHP has evolved from Columbia University’s International Centre for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs (ICAP) which has supported comprehensive high-quality, HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment activities in Nigeria over the last five years in partnership with Akwa Ibom, Benue, Cross River, Gombe, Kaduna and Kogi states.

 

CIHP currently implements a large and highly dynamic program and aims to continue to utilize and strengthen local capacity to adequately provide quality technical assistance for healthcare and development in Nigeria.

 

To achieve this, we are building a database of suitably qualified, competent and experienced professionals (individuals) with expertise in the following program areas for short term engagement (one six months) as we may require in meeting emerging program priorities in the under listed areas:

Interested candidates would be expected to possess the following requisite qualifications for consideration:

I.       Education: A minimum of a university degree in a field relevant to the area of expertise. Holders of advanced degrees in relevant fields (Masters and PhD) would be preferred.

 

II.      Experience: Minimum of five (5) demonstrable years of relevant experience in specified subject area /field. Professionals with strong experiences in the development /non- profit context especially and with application of participatory methodologies in facilitating trainings will be at a distinct advantage

 

III.     Registration with relevant professional bodies (MDCN, PCN, AMLSN, CHPRB etc) and or possession of professional certifications e.g.  ACA for accountants are mandatory for professionals applying to be on this database.

1.0     Introduction:

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for execution of the 2011 Capital Projects at the Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan-Waya. The projects are categorized into six (6) lots as follows:

 

1.1     Lot 011/PST/B1: Construction of Administrative Block (Phase I): This

comprises offices of the Provost, Registrar, Bursar, Chief Internal Auditor and Exam and Record offices.

 

1.2.    Lot 011/PST/B2:   Supply   of Classroom   furniture   and  Equipment; comprising Computers and Accessories, Computer Chairs and Tables,

Wooden Donkeys, Stools, Painting Easels/ Tables for the Fine and Applied Arts Department.

 

1.3     Lot 011/PST/B3: Renovation of Science Laboratories:

Complete renovation/rehabilitation of existing Physics and Agricultural

Education Laboratories.

 

1.4     Lot 011/PST/B4: Purchase and supply of vehicles:

Supply of Toyota and Peugeot brand vehicles

 

1.5     Lot011/PST/B5: Renovation of Classroom/Lecture Halls (Block ‘O’):

Complete renovation/rehabilitation of block of 3No Classrooms and

offices.

 

1.6     Lot 011/PST/B6:ConstructionofHospital/Health Clinic:

This is a 20 bed capacity clinic for students and staff of the college. It

consists of two (2No) Wards, Consulting rooms. Theatre, General out

patient department, and Labour/delivery rooms.

 

2.0     Pre-Qualification Requirements:

i.        Evidence of incorporation or Business name registration

ii.       Registration with relevant Ministry and Bureau

iii       Company audited account for the past three (3) years

iv.      Evidence of Tax Clearance for the past three (3) years

v.       Evidence of financial capability and Banking support

vi       Experience/Technical qualification and experience of key personnel

vii.     Similar project(s) executed and evidence of past knowledge of the industry.

viii.    Equipment and technology capacity.

ix.      Annual Turn-over.

x.       VAT registration and evidence of past VAT remittances

 

3.0     Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents:

i.        The Pre-qualification documents must be sealed and submitted to the office of the Registrar, Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan-Waya not Later than 2nd September, 2011 Capital Projects.

ii.       Only pre-qualified contractors shall be invited to tender and their names shall be published on the notice boards of the college.

iii.      The Lot for which pre-qualification is required must be indicated at the top left hand corner of the envelope.

iv.      pre-qualification documents would be opened on September 2nd , 2011 at 12:00noon prompt immediately after the close of receipt in the collge boardroom.

 

4.0     Tender Documents:

Only contractors who have satisfied pre-qualification conditions above would be invited to tender on payment of non-refundable fee of N50, 000.00 for lot 011/PST/B1, N5, 000.00 for Lot 011/PST/B2, N10,000.00 for Lot 011/PST/B3, N7,500:00 for Lot 011/PST/B4, N7,500:00 for Lot 011/PST/B5, and N20,000:00 for Lot 011/PST/B6.

 

All bidders and the general public are invited.
