Ogbakor- Agba- Ndele, on behalf of the Agba- Ndele Community, is engaging a Consultant or Town Manager to handle Town Planning, development and coordination of the community.

 

Services:

The services of the Consultant or Town Manager include but not limited to the following action points:

i.        To architect the plan for security of Agba-Ndele and develop a value orientation scheme for collective discipline of Youths of the community in consonance with Government expectations on communities in Nigeria.

ii.       Work with agencies of government to develop a Community Security      Coordination Mechanism for crime audit and Security Monitoring.

iii.      Develop a health care delivery mechanism supported with a community Ambulance for rapid response to health Emergencies for the most vulnerable groups (Women, Children and the aged).

iv.      To design or redesign as well as budget and implement desirable community Infrastructure as may be considered necessary by the people of Agba-Ndele (Ogbakor Agba).

v.       To carry out information audit on opportunities at Federal, State and Local Government in relation to community Development needs and potentials as well as introduce the approach modalities to access such opportunities.

vi.      To identify youths with sound education (first class and upper class results) and programme them for further courses, home and abroad.

vii.     To plan scholarship scheme for the community in a manner consistent with the Human Capital requirement of Nigeria in the interest of the progressive students and high fliers in the community.

viii.    To source for funding and sponsorship within and outside Agba-Ndele, for skill acquisition and apprenticeship for the unemployed, non graduate youths.

ix.      To design and implement landscape and horticulture complementary to the new road and school projects, ongoing, in Agba -Ndele,

x.       To develop viable bankable cooperative groups for the identified viable economic activities in order to reinvigorate the priced traditional occupation of fishing and farming in Agba-Ndele.

xi.      Identify relevant cultural heritages of the community to revive and consolidate them for economic gains.

 

The Requirements:

Applicant may be an individual, man or woman, between the ages of 25 years and 60 years, and must have academic qualification not below HND in any of the following disciplines

i.        Agriculture (any discipline in Agriculture)

ii.       Architecture

iii.      Urban Planning

iv.      Rural Development

v.       Business Administration

vi.      General Management

vii.     Any other qualification or discipline relevant to the above T.O.R.

viii.    Public Health

ix.      Environmental Management

x.       Law

 

A more detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) shall be provided for the firm or person that will be shortlisted for the assignment.

 

Other Requirements:

i.        Applications are also invited from reputable companies and NGOs with relevant experience relative to the above mentioned T.O.R.

ii.       Prospective applicants must have a cognate postgraduate working experience of not less than five years with evidence of NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

 

Remuneration /Incentives:

Terms of Payment:

Successful applicant will be engaged for one calendar year to demonstrate capacity; with an attractive salary scale to be negotiated and agreed per annum.

The person/Firm will live in Agba- Ndele to work with a youth body of 16 persons and Agba Community Development Committee (CDC).

A Project Vehicle and free accommodation will be provided.

Background

The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), a Parastatal of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources was set up by Act No. 37 of 1972 and subsequently amended by Act No. 52 of 1976 to train technical manpower for the Oil, Gas and Allied Companies. In accordance with the Procurement Act, 2007, the Board of Trustees of PTI Pension scheme hereby invites qualified professional auditing firms to pre-qualify for the for services below.

 

Scope of Services Required:

The scope shall he the auditing of the Institute’s Pensions Accounts for the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 respectively, according to Standard Accounting Practice.

Requirements:

  • Evidence of firm’s registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
  • Evidence of registration with the office of Auditor General of the Federation in the year the appointment is being set.
  • Firm’s profile, such as experience, technical qualification of key staff not less than ten (10) in number,
  • Evidence of financial capability/Bank. Reference.
  • Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years.
  • Evidence of valid Tax. Clearance certificate for the last three (3) years.
  • Evidence of VAT registration certificate, and
  • Evidence of firm’s existence with not less than ten (10) years of satisfactory performance.

 

Fee

Fee will be negotiated on man-hour basis as obtainable from at least three (3) accredited firms of Chartered Accountants from the list at the office of the Auditor General of the Federation. This will be negotiated and determined as part of the final selection process.
