Pre-Qualification Requirements

Interested contractor(s) must either be a Nigerian or have a joint venture with a Nigerian Company and should submit a letter of intent which must be accompanied by the following documents:

(i)                Evidence of Incorporation by Corporate Affairs Commission.

(ii)             Company Profile and Organizational Structure including names/resume of key personnel.

(iii)           Tax Clearance for the last three years.

(iv)           Evidence of VAT Registration.

(v)             Evidence of technical competence in handling the projects in question (e.g. adequate number of equipment and technical staff).

(vi)           Verifiable list of projects/works executed in the recent past and evidence of satisfactory completion.

(vii)        Evidence of financial strength, credit worthiness and solvency.

(viii)      Evidence of compliance with the provision of Pension Act 2004.

(ix)           Evidence of Payment of Development Levy and Registration of Premises.

(x)             Letter from the Contractor authorizing the College of Education, Afaha Nsit, to verify submission.

 

Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents

Four (4) copies of spiral bound pre-qualification documents in a sealed envelope with the inscription: “Pre-Qualification for Year 2010/2011 Tetfund Projects” on the top left corner of the envelope, should be submitted to:

Opening of Pre-Qualification Documents

Pre-qualification documents will be opened that same day 24/09/2012 at 2.00 p.m.

 

Please note that all bidders will be required to pay a non-refundable pre-qualification fee of N30, 000.00 (Thirty Thousand Naira) only at the Bursary Department of the College, in cash.

 

Collection of Tender Documents

Pre-qualified contractors will collect the tender documents from the office of the Director of Works of the College on October 02, 2012.

 

 

Submission of Tender Documents

Four copies of spiral bound Tender documents in sealed envelope with inscription “TETFUND 2010-2011 NORMAL INTERVENTION (state Lot number)” OR “TETFUND 2010-2011 LIBRARY INTERVENTION (state Lot number)” as relevant, should be submitted not later than 12 noon of 22nd October, 2012 to the Registrar, College of Education, Afaha Nsit, All Tenderers will be required to pay a tender processing fee of N100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira) only per Lot for Normal Intervention or N50,000,00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) only per Lot for Library Intervention.

 

 

Opening of Tenders

The tender documents will be opened same day 22/10/2012 at 2.00 p.m. interested members of the public, especially the tenderers are invited.

Preamble:

FIFA, the World Football Governing Body through its Development Office in Abidjan, Cote D’ivoire is desirous of constructing a Technical Centre in Bauchi, Bauchi State consisting of a Players’ hostel of 1768 sqm floor area and a one-star synthetic football pitch (goal project 2) for the Nigeria Football Federation. The Nigeria Football Federation on behalf of FIFA is therefore inviting interested contractors to submit pre-qualification documents.

 

Pre-qualification Bid Requirements:

Prospective contractors shall be required to submit the following pre-qualification documents:

a)       Company profile, detailing but not limited to the followings:

 

i.        Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.

ii.       Staff disposition and organogram.

iii.      Evidence of registration of key professional staff in the building industry with relevant institutes and regulatory bodies.

iv.      Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years and VAT registration.

v.       Evidence of current registration with the Federal Ministry of Works in category ‘B’

vi.      Evidence of finance capability to execute this project including:

  • Audited accounts for the last three (3) years.
  • Letter of Reference from you bankers.

vii.     List of major plants and equipment owned by the company.

b)      Prospective bidders should show past experience including the following:

i.        List of similar verifiable and successfully executed projects by the company with the locations, letters of award and completion certificates, in the last 5

years.

ii.       Evidence of relationship with a FIFA approved football turf manufacturer(s)

 

General Information:

Pre-requisite for Processing of Pre-Qualification Submissions:

a.       Close of submissions for pre-qualification: All submission for pre-qualification MUST reach the General Secretary of NFF on or before 27th September 2012 by 12noon. Documents will be opened at 2:00pm on the last day of submission, in the Conference Room of NFF.

 

b.       All submissions should be in an envelope of 350mm by 220mm, clearly marked on top left corner with the caption: “Pre-Qualification for Bauchi Technical Centre”

 

c.       Responses must be collated in the same sequence as in this advertisement otherwise the submission will be disqualified.

 

d.       NFF shall not be obliged to engage in any communication on the outcome of his exercise.

1.       The invitation For Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue. 591 of 2nd July, 2007 and 4 National Dailies of the same date.

 

2.       The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of Science and Technology Education Post – Basic Project (STEP-B Project), and it intends to apply part of the-proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for the procurement of an integrated Nano Indentation System with Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM)

 

3.       The Science and Technology Education Post Basic Project, (STEP-B Project Sheda Science & Technology Complex, Abuja), now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified for the Procurement of the following.

7.       A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira only) or US$70.00 (Seventy Dollars only). The Federal Government of Nigeria is receiving financing from the International Development Association (IDA) and the European Union (EU) towards the cost of the State Employment and Expenditure for Results (SEEFOR) Project. Delta State is participating in the project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

 

The consultancy services are required to support the State’s efforts to review and modernize Public Finance Management Legislations. Budget preparation and Execution processes, Accounting, Expenditure Control and Financial Reporting.

 

The Delta State Employment and Expenditure for Results (SEEFOR) Project now invites eligible consulting firm (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. The short-listing criteria are:

1.       A firm with expertise in Public Finance Management with considerable experience in Public Sector Accounting, Budgeting, Investment and Financial Management and at least 15 years experience.

2.       Proven track record of similar assignments previously carried out.

 

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guideline: Selection and Employment of Consultants (under IBRD) Loans and IDA Credits and Grants) by World Bank Borrowers January 2011 (“Consultant Guidelines”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

 

Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications.

 

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the QCBS (Quality and Cost Based Selection) method set out in the Consultant Guidelines.
